I looked for news coverage from the UK, about the battery fire. Some was region blocked, but I saw Fire using their own two trucks to handle the battery unit. Then Pepe's came in to grab the rig & trailer (2nd day). It'll be interesting to see what else you were involved in. The drone footage of the *bang* seemed to have your label on it!?
This looks a lot like a refinery in Richmond, CA I had to deliver to about 15 years ago, with a replacement access cover for a tank. Please remind Alex to get those slings out, and get ALL of that black crap off of them ... soon! I had a couple of straps laying on the ground when unloading, and I did not think of the black crap on them being a problem, thought it was just plain dirt. Come to find out after a while (I rarely used the 6 inch straps) the black crap had eaten into the straps and they were destroyed! Perfect textbook job, and a lot of teaching by Alex too! Waiting for the new videos to come!
HAHA, I loved how the guy said, no way that thing is going to lift 50,000 pounds. If I was Alex, I would have said, oh yeah, hold my shackle. Flipper is a beast like always, and it lifted that thing like a BOSS! I truly hope that Pepe's will be one of the first in the industry to own an M100 at some point however, then Pepe's will become the lifting king of California lol. I can't wait to see the lithium battery episode, lets just say its highly anticipated from all your fans.
Always marvel at Alex's attention to detail and his explanation of why it is important. Looking forward to the next videos. The news I saw related to the exploding batteries showed the FD lifting the container. Looked at a lot of news with Joshua and PEPE's featured prominently. The local worker seemed shocked that Flipper lifted the wheel loader. Should have known it wouldn't have been there if it couldn't have done the job. Thanks for the Video, always.
I fkn love this channel! I used to work outdoor, heavy machinery, overhead crane operator. I work indoor, at a desk now. Makes me miss the work I use to do. Damn good job Pepe’s! Great professional work and videography, and overall exciting to watch. Thank you.
Great lift young man. The guy with the low loader needs to get some railway sleepers to bridge across his trailer and support equipment. Most of the plant guys here in the UK carry lumps of railway sleeper or large sections of timber to keep buckets and booms clear of tyres and linkages.
Alex , I think that driver was looking for your validation that his load was fine. He appears to be pretty unsure until you told him it was OK. Does Pepe's have a release form stating their driver authorized the placement of the load?? In today's world everyone is looking for a scapegoat. That was about a straightforward lift as you guys get. Big Flipper handled it like it was nothing 😂😂. Nice job Alex😊😊
I work with a fleet of high-strung personalities who are prone to questionable snap decisions ("Profit, Profit, Profit, and if there's time, customer satisfaction"), so it's nice to see someone like Alex making calm and rational decisions to ensure SAFETY first and then customer satisfaction. The profits will undoubtedly follow those two things.
Aloha Pepe’s Gang especially Alex aka…”Mr Professor”…. Another awesome Job and Video documentation. So patient and always so accommodating. Great commentary to edgeumacate us unedgeumacated peeps. Thank you Josh for sharing the videos and for u all to walk a moment in a Pepe’s employee’s shoes.
Good job and good call on the bucket. Once he put the wood down and chained the bucket down on both sides he was set. However, I bet he was overwieght on the trailer axles and light on the drivers. I did Heavy Haul for 8 years. You notice things like that.
I love how you communicate with the drivers for these loads giving them Ideas to keep them legal, safe, and within DOT regulations. As a Heavy DOT Tow truck driver, the rules you must learn as you go are crazy.
I never miss any of your videos, I appreciate the detail you use in describing the techniques and methods of doing the jobs. You are a true professional and very polite when dealing with the people on the job site. Gracias Hermano, y saludos des de Kansas.
I love this one. All the details how to set it down was so nice to watch. You are really good guy to work with Alex. Top operator on every way. You and Josh are like a dream team.
I believe that black powder is called "fly ash". The refinery uses it in their "ponds" I assume to absorb the waste. I hauled many a load from the power plants all around Texas to a refinery in, I believe it was somewhere around Port Arthur. It's been more than a few years.
No need for a breakdown on this one. Alex did a very good job explaining everything. Should be a 2025 calendar shot in there for sure!! Stay safe out there!
I wonder how many more followers you would get if you put some sort of ad or graphic for the channel on the trucks? So many bystanders are absolutely fascinated and want to know more it seems.
Good job Alex. Josh have you ever considered investing in an RGN since you are always hauling stuff or no because of SoCal. Big Flipper has proven it’s self time and time again
I agree. That trailer in this video was expandable on the rear. A good trailer for larger machines, with 16 tires back there. Pepe's should look into that.
the operator interface on those isn't great as the sides are very tall and the compartments are shallow . especially the chain and rigging equipment is up high.
I'm no petroleum guy but refining waste streams includes valuable carbon black and calcined petcoke residue. I don't know one way or the other to differentiate.
Papitas for Big Flipper and Alex. That machine broke down straight and bucket down. Imagine if that was left the same way all those telehandlers were last month.
Another Easy Easy Eeaasssyyyyy Papitas Job well done Alex say hello to Papi chulo 🌹 joe ❤ its ok not to see josh do the breakdowns this time but I'd like to see more of Papi chulo ❤️ joe 🌹 do the breakdowns lol😂😂😂😂😂 just kidding josh your awesome kiddo ❤

Batteries go boom
I cant wait for that hot content to come out

Ya i know lol 🤪
To Alex it's like playing with Tonka toys. 😀 Smooth and easy.
Its always nice to see Alex & big flipper, they always make things look easy
You ever notice that when people make things look easy Its because they are that good at what they do

Every video is a master class in rigging. I’m a retired rocket engineer and just amazed at the work.
Absolutely amazing how Flipper lifts that kind of weight and doesn't even care. Great job as always Alex.
sensible lifting points engineered on the loader
a lot of big equipment has those.
Pepe' s towing is absolutely amazing to watch 💯
I fkn love this channel! I used to work outdoor, heavy machinery, overhead crane operator. I work indoor, at a desk now. Makes me miss the work I use to do. Damn good job Pepe’s! Great professional work and videography, and overall exciting to watch. Thank you.
I feel you my dad used to drive Semis, and I went into welding shipbuilding and turnarounds.
Alex: you are the coolest!! Between the commentary, customer satisfaction & LOVE and Ability of Flipper makes your VIDEOS AWESOME!! Thank you!
Great lift young man. The guy with the low loader needs to get some railway sleepers to bridge across his trailer and support equipment. Most of the plant guys here in the UK carry lumps of railway sleeper or large sections of timber to keep buckets and booms clear of tyres and linkages.
Hello Alex, to answer your question it's called Koke. It’s what's left after refining Petroleum.
Thank you , learned something new today
✔️
@@AlexanderHernandez088when you learn something new, you have to immediately go home and think on what you learned for the rest of the day!😂🤣😂
@ricanderson5717 😂😂
so they just dump it on the ground in a big pile?
Alex and Big Flipper always making it look so easy!
Alex knows his equipment backwards and forwards. His expertise makes tough jobs look easy. Big Flipper really is a Beast!

He did have the smallest "big bits of wood" that I've seen in any of the videos. 😂

Experience and problem-solving skills. I like the way that guy at the end was surprised with Big Flipper’s capabilities. Great job Alex.
Alex, you make everything look so easy! You explain what you need to do, and get the job done. You don't constantly talk and I appreciate that!
Uncle Alex & Flipper doing the job as usual!!!
Yet another great job by Alex and Big Flipper of Pepe's Towing. Josh's breakdown can be a SPECIAL not a regular feature.
Flashback to the Tonka Truck days! Great video.
Aloha Pepe’s Gang especially Alex aka…”Mr Professor”…. Another awesome Job and Video documentation. So patient and always so accommodating. Great commentary to edgeumacate us unedgeumacated peeps.

Not overweight on 16 tires in the back
Doubt it - CA permits up to 60k on that set expanded out to 10'
I will never cease to be amazed at the loads a rotator like Big Flipper can handle.
Buenas noches, Alex, un gran trabajo, bonito e interesante video, saludos,❤👏👍👌💪🖐️🇪🇦

Mad respect to you guys! ❤ yall stay safe and may God protect you every step of the way 🙏🏽🫡
Had no idea they even made tow trucks that could deadlift 25 tons. Insane.
Big flipper is a beast!! Great job Alex😎
....."Never underestimate Big Fliper," as Alex well puts it. Fantastic job, Alex.
I love this one. All the details how to set it down was so nice to watch. You are really good guy to work with Alex. Top operator on every way. You and Josh are like a dream team.
Who needs a crane when flipper and Alex is there. Alex your turning into the goat no offense Josh.
Super lift there Alex and Flipper just sat there no probs lol.....Stay safe and see you soon
As always, great job Alex.
Another great job from Alex.
Alex, that was amazing
Good job Alex lifting and setting it on his trailer.
Cool video! Nice job!

Great job Alex 👍
Good job Alex 👍
Big flipper rules and Alex rocks
😊
Great video and job Alex
Another great job Alex so stay safe out there ….🥸
I love what you are doing mat and I love you trucks
The wheel loader was quite clean for the area it it's been used in. Seems as if someone spend some time on cleaning it before it was to be loaded.
As dark as that place looks, that loader looks remarkably clean.
Good job! It looks easy thanks to your experience!
The professor alex at your job more smooth work your the best
Clean and neat heavy lift no prob! Congrats!
Yo, guys, it is great in what you all do. God bless you always and forever Amen.
Yeah Alex smooth and Dangerous,,you making seen so easy, but with Flippers is a breeze no matter what Good Job buddy,👀 u on the next project.
Love big flipper very nice truck looking good too nice work 👍👍👍👍👍😊
nice work mate
I'm surprised they let you in the plant with those short shorts. 😂
I believe that black powder is called "fly ash". The refinery uses it in their "ponds" I assume to absorb the waste. I hauled many a load from the power plants all around Texas to a refinery in, I believe it was somewhere around Port Arthur. It's been more than a few years.
The Amazing Alex 👏

Wit u runnin it is a beast
Alex your the best and you love your job
No need for a breakdown on this one. Alex did a very good job explaining everything. Should be a 2025 calendar shot in there for sure!! Stay safe out there!
Some powerful shackles,
awesome video big flipper did the job you off loaded in fontana where i live lol keep posting i enjoy all your videos
Alex it always amazes me seeing the lifting strength of big flipper just think if you had the M100 the things that could be done 😁
Go Alex!!
Across all similar videos it often seems like the transport trailer is far larger than it needs to be, but here is a good example of why you want that
I wonder how many more followers you would get if you put some sort of ad or graphic for the channel on the trucks? So many bystanders are absolutely fascinated and want to know more it seems.
Good job Alex. Josh have you ever considered investing in an RGN since you are always hauling stuff or no because of SoCal. Big Flipper has proven it’s self time and time again

Never underestimate Big Flipper!
More top notch
We will wait for him, he is very busy , family man, work and creator Peace out all
Big flipper picked that up like it was nothing
I think it's time to invest in a Miller Century M100!
Probably a 2 or 3 year lead time on one of those bad boys!
To heavy for California roads
the operator interface on those isn't great as the sides are very tall and the compartments are shallow . especially the chain and rigging equipment is up high.
California won’t allow them.
Big Flipper can do the job with Alex’s input
I'm no petroleum guy but refining waste streams includes valuable carbon black and calcined petcoke residue. I don't know one way or the other to differentiate.
Aye my bad Josh for calling you Alex at that Azusa job, I realized my mistake right away 😂😂
Doubt it would be possible but it would be great to see you guys do a factory tour of where they make those rotators
hey man ,, i would like to see a vid on how you guys do routine MNR and cleaning on your trucks ,,, that would be real cool to see ...
Just saw the big rig with the batteries on insta
I live in LA, was wondering of you had that exploding batteries job. Looking forward to that one.
That pretty damn impressive, not the lift but the mustache😂😂😂
Alex Looks like "Don Quixote: From the Movie "Man of La Mancha" with that Helmet!! LOL
I think that one's big enough that when you say "JCB" it needs to be a deep, basso, voice.
beast flipper won't move unless there's a beast behind the wheel 😛😛😛😛😛
Papitas for Big Flipper and Alex. That machine broke down straight and bucket down. Imagine if that was left the same way all those telehandlers were last month.
Another Easy Easy Eeaasssyyyyy Papitas Job well done Alex say hello to Papi chulo 🌹 joe ❤ its ok not to see josh do the breakdowns this time but I'd like to see more of Papi chulo ❤️ joe 🌹 do the breakdowns lol😂😂😂😂😂 just kidding josh your awesome kiddo ❤
7:39 "What is all this?" It's the tar pit where they dig up the dinosaurs and grind them into oil. LOL
Seen your video footage on the national news! I knew it was Pepe's!
Morning Alex and Josh out video creator That is one big bulldozer
Saludos de Tijuana arturo padilla ei ales eres un chingo
Was that your drone fottage on lithium battery made national news
yes
Alex--I was going to suggest he same thing about the wood blocks. Make the job simple.
It sounds like you have some newfound love for the sleeper if you spent 3 days on site with that battery explosion
Am dieing to see the new truck josh! Where is hulk 2.0?
Its called to Koke and it is kinda like getting fly ash from a coal fired power plant. Have fun cleaning up.
Alex looks like he can lift the loader up without Bg Flipper 😂
