Will a frozen burrito cook in the GoSun Go solar oven? There's only one way to find out! I love using my GoSun to cook with no fuel! It's the perfect camping cook accessory and a must for minivan campers or van life.
Welcome to Minivan Camper Gal! I'm Kelly and I camp and travel in a Chrysler Pacifica Minivan, doing part-time van life. Here you will find van build videos, tips on the digital nomad lifestyle, general travel vlog videos, and more. I'm into minimalism, and I eat a mostly plant-based vegan diet. I'm still learning how to do vegan vanlife well! I have some great vegan camping recipes to share with you, but would love some suggestions, too! Sometimes I stealth camp in the city, but mostly I like to boondock. Join me and my camper van as we embark on all the car camping adventures!

I am sold! It's time to go purchase a GoSun! It's great to see & hear your burrito experiment! Way to try! 😊🎉 AND succeed! 👍
Haha, thanks! I hope you love yours!
I think that they have larger models, too.
When you started talking about these solar ovens, I looked into them, because I know someone who sometimes takes solar solutions to a country in Africa and I wanted to know if this could be useful for them.
Hi Angelina! Oh, how interesting about Africa! Yes, they do have larger ones.
A car parked in the Sun with the windows up is a solar oven, just throw whatever you wanna heat up on the dashboard.
Ha! Yes, I did this for many years - I made frozen burritos and put them on the dash. Sometimes they were even too hot to eat at lunchtime!
I like your solar tube! When you cooked your berry crumble I thought the amount of ingredients wouldn't be enough to satisfy my kinda appetite. But now seeing that hugh burrito fit, though barely, I think I'll invest in one too. I was wondering if solar tube work still work placed atop dashboard inside my car in full sun. That way I can go on my 45 minute walk around the lake, come back and not have to set up my little kitchen in the back of my
suv to make my next meal. I could just relax and chow down. It would be nice to have an alternate way to cook when I'm doing my day camping.
Hey Joann! It is pretty small, but they make bigger ones too. I'll have to try it on the dash! You could also put it on the roof.
"You don't know until you try." Yes, exactly!! :)
Haha, glad you agree!
Deconstructed burrito!😂😂
Thanks Lisa!
You never know till you try 😂
Haha, right?!
I was wondering when you made the pizza if you were going to try a burrito. That's a neat little solar cooker. The burrito didn't look too bad, I think it turned out better than the cookies.
Hey Steve! Haha, yeah, the cookies didn't even taste that great! Thanks for watching!
If u can eat it after cooked that's what matters
Haha, right?!
👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
How long did that take to cook?
Hi Connie! I let it sit for maybe 15-20 minutes
Those tubes can boil 20oz water in 5 min .
Cut the burrito cook 2 halves.
You need 2 ovens then.
Yeah, maybe I'll try that next time. It might fit two long halves.
In my opinion it defeats the purpose of a burrito if it is not self contained... I think I will try this, but I will make my own and just wrap it small enough to fit... 😊
