- Join me for the Arizona Renaissance Festival 2024 Opening Day!
My husband and I are huge nerds so we love coming every year. & this year. we took the day away from our baby girl to fully enjoy the festivities that this event has to offer.
Take a gander of the festival through my eyes as I show you basically the entire fairgrounds.
We mostly spend our time walking through every artisan shop, admiring all of the unique historical, fantasy and whimsical merchandise.
Catching a couple shows such as one that featured a cat & especially the glass blowing show which is always a treat.
Went through the petting zoo where a bunch of kids were enjoying themselves.
And of course we got a couple drinks and a savory meal. First was a Raspberry Mead which I had never tried. Then we were on a search for a pretty looking cocktail and were originally unsuccessful but later ordered the right one.
The meal we got was of course the loaded baked potato, the Royal Spud. Which we were happy to see again from our yummy introduction last year.

When the video started, I looked away for one second and thought you said "raspberry meat." I was relieved to see that it was actually raspberry mead lol. It looks like fun! I thought that the renaissance festival was in the fall, so this was a pleasant surprise!
Its so fun! You would surly enjoy it, there are all sorts of Dungeons and Dragons lovers there too.
Its usually from early February- early April. And with the cold weather we had opening weekend I would surely prefer it than the 100+ weather we had in October 💀

Here in Montana I automatically say "Mead, with a D, as in delta" after I say the word "mead" because nobody here knows what mead is, so they only hear "meat" 😂😬
Just got back home today, bf and I ate the spinach and artichoke bread soup AND the cheesy broccoli one! Bought my very first renfest corset and a brand new petal skirt!!!! Glad you had so much fun!
glad that the soup was good! I havnt ordered one of those because I don't think i could make enough room in my corset for too much bread haha
Okay judging from the likes ill say underrated vlog but you actually somehow catch and show better compared to other videos ive seen ,the festival and what it has to offer , idk if its the camera or the lights or how you take the video or the music , but i really liked this , good job lads, great filming , great editing and overall great video .

Mead is generally a high % alcohol, that looked loke enough to sit me down for a few hours 😂
I thought it was going to be closer to a light beer (5%) but it was basically a sweet wine 😅 (over 10%)
Yeah,,,,, it's nice as in 30 ml shots between beers but that looked more like a full put me to sleep for an afternoon cup 😂😂😂 hope you enjoyed it none the less
I love your videos but know the players of this and other Ren Fairs owned by the same “man” are paid so little and treated so poorly it’s hard to watch sometimes. I do still love your content.
didn't someone do a documentary about that? they deserve the absolute best.
I try to do my part & mention how awesome the ren fair actors/ cast members/ employees 🙏 Especially since my ren fair videos reach more people than my usual videos.
