Hi Lindsay! You found some fantastic deals on the winter gear. Kids usually only get one winter out of the outdoor wear before they outgrow them so it’s great to find them second hand. The meal plan sounds delicious! Would love to sit and eat with you sometime lol.. I’ve been hungry for a roast but they are so expensive.. I keep wanting for a good sale. I hope you all have a great day ❤
@@melaniemurphy2429 Hi Melanie, I was so happy when I found the boots and ski pants!! Great money savers! The kids can't wait for snow! That's the first Roast I've bought in months, they're just so expensive now. $5.99/lb is the cheapest I've seen them. I hope you're doing well! Have a great week! ❤️😊
Hi Lindsay 👋 😊 You did awesome for what you paid in groceries 😊 Yes, roasts are expensive, it's crazy. I usually get mine from costco. I half them and make srewing beef with part of it too. I remember when mushroom soup was 49 cents on sale back in 2020. Great finds at VV. You can get some good deals there sometimes 😊 Your meal plan sounds delicious. I think I'll make some chili this week also. It's overcast ☁️ and rainy here 🌧. Elizabeth and Christopher say hello 👋 😊 Have a great day.

Even with prices going up steadily, you manage to offset those high prices with the discount items and the food hero purchases. Your meal plan for the week sound really good. I am sure whenever you cook the roast beef , it will be a real winner! Nothing like a nice roast with gravy, mashed potatoes and veggies ! Ginger will enjoy her new toys …and harness! Great haul Lindsay! I am with you on the prices & the Roast beef down here in Newfoundland is crazy expensive . When you go to Dollarama again . Look for your Chia Seeds there !! @@rhondarogers1946 thanks Rhonda. Pretty bad when a Roast is considered a treat now! Yes, I will take a mental note to check Dollarama for the Chia seeds! They were much more expensive in superstore than Walmart. Hope you're having a great week. 😊
Thank you for sharing your grocery haul. I, with my husband, live in the Maritimes. I agree with you about groceries being expensive, especially the meat. My husband likes Sobeys better than he does The Real Atlantic Superstore.
@@Jverburgh Hi Jeannette, I shop at superstore mainly because I collect the points. I find sobeys much better for produce! The price of groceries has gotten so out of hand. Have a great day. 😊
Another awesome grocery haul, and you found some good deals too which always makes it easier to shop. I love the find you got at Value Village, the boots and ski pants looked brand new and those hats are adorable too. We went grocery shopping for a few things this week, we didn't get much for our money, we ended up making some turkey stuffing roll ups for a quick dinner, just the meat from the deli cost $15.00 a pound, a bag of salad cost $3.98, a packet of gravy mix cost $1.25 and a box of instant stuffing mix cost $1.98, that's a lot for one meal with a small amount of leftovers, but still cheaper than going out to eat. I know one thing, there isn't much room in the budget for extras anymore. We have been eating lots of soups with grilled cheese sandwiches, at least when I make a pot of soup we have enough for a few meals. I agree with you on the cost of roast beef for pot roast, we limit ourselves to one every few months now, the last one we bought cost us $26, and so much of it was fat which went in the trash. Money doesn't go to far anymore, but we'll make the best of what we can get. Who knows how things will go with the new regime that has been voted in, we did not vote for him, and I suspect things will only get worse here, sure wish we could get out of the U.S. for the next 4 years. Wishing you a lovely week Lindsay, thanks for always being bright spot on the internet and for your wonderful friendship.

I love Siggi's yogurt, it's really high quality and lower sugar.
