Ryan Reynolds recites the GREEN LANTERN oath for youngster at Comic Con 2010!

- It was hard to find a decent complete video where a young Green Lantern fan asked actor Ryan Reynolds about how he felt saying the oath that the DC comic book superhero recites while charging his power battery that gives him his powers. I took clips from several sources and edited them together to get a more cohesive video where you see the child ask the question to Reynolds, and then see Reynolds recite the oath and sign a comic for the boy.
The scene took place at the San Diego Comic Con on July 24, 2010 during a panel where actors and the director of the "Green Lantern" film were present to discuss the film and answer questions from the audience.

Say what you want about 2011's Green Lantern movie but whenever Ryan Reynolds says the green lantern's oath it get goosebumps hearing it!

Ah man a lot of ppl hated the movie. I'm not a comic reader but grew up on c reeves superman and have loved smallville ( my favorite ) and superhero movies shows since. The ending of gl with him reciting the the oath and beating parallax was as epic as the subway/hallway ending to the matrix (one of my fav movies :) ). To do this for that kid probably made his day/life as the sweetest moment :). I could also see why Blake would marry a man like that .... Sweet nice Ryan :)
@Wardy1000 he tried to explain what it feels like but couldn't... so instead he showed the kid how it feels... and how it sounds... no big deal.. kid was probably happy as hell
This bit is much better than the whole movie. Ryan should get back now and do a proper GREEN LANTERN movie
OMG that kid is so cute! Okay, that's not what the kid asked but it may have been hard to hear him over all the screaming. He was probably in seventh heaven after that.

@Wardy1000, I agree that the kid did ask a different question than what was answered, but I think he's probably still a happy l'il camper with his free signed comic book by Ryan Reynolds.
I love how he lowers his voice for "Green Latern's light." Everyone was surprised and the kid is dumbstruck. It's great. Fingers crossed this movie is as good as we all want it to be! :)
I wasn't very excited to see the Green Lantern movie till I saw this video =D I think I said "awwwwww" about a billion times.

Best movie ever plus featuring the best actor that you could find for an action hero role "Ryan Reynolds" together with the pretiest actresses/woman in the world "Blake Lively" with black hair wich makes her even pretier. ' ...........and ryan says ,in answer 'it sounds like this' ...........poor kid didnt get an answer,he is out there now somewhere still wandering ............you can see the shock on his face , he is like yeah ryan thats not what i fuckin asked you
