The ending with him moving with her on his feet, I literally cried because of how beautiful this image is. Wow. I remember seeing this live, it's as amazing as it was back then.
Walking on his feet? That caught in my throat! I was not prepared! Broke my heart.
This dance broke my heart in a beautiful way.

Made me cry then....makes me cry now. This show has had some of the most fantastic dances over the years. SYTYCD is and has been a treasure.
I have to agree with Mia Michaels and that brilliant heartbreaking performance. My Dad died suddenly from acute blastoma leukemia. He was healthy in January 2007, diagnosed in March of the same year died August 30th, 2007 at 7:05PM. I lived in the hospital with him for the last 2 month of his life. I wanted to fix him. AND. I . COULDN'T. When Allison has her feet on Robert's near the end of this dance, that is what I was trying so hard to do for my Dad. Rest in peace my dearly beloved father Ross. We'll dance together again some day.
I know this is an old comment, but I genuinely wish nothing but good things upon you, your father, and your family. Death is so scary and even scarier when there's nothing you can do to stop it. I hope you are healthy and have found your soul somewhat healed, at the least. It never goes away, but it sure as shit gets easier.
The fact that even when the music stopped, they continued to walk together. This is not simply a piece of art, it's somebody's life. He was bearing his soul for the whole world to see, and yet, showed what goes on behind closed doors. The support never ceases. The LOVE never ceases. Even when the music is stopped.
Never getting over this. Who's watching in 2016?

Travis is a brilliant dancer and choreographer because it comes from such an honest place from such a huge, tender and open heart. I love him and his work.

The first time I cried freely while watching a dance. I feel the exact same way towards my mom, and wanting to help her through difficulties and just loving her and needing her at the same time. thanks for that.

This is the one dance I've always remembered throughout the seasons. It was so striking in the physical, spiritual and emotional sense. Tears and goosebumps every time I watch this. Robert is my favorite of all time too. He was great that entire season.

This is the first time I cried at a SYTYCD Routine....My mom passed away from cancer last year and this just touched me because throughout her suffering I wanted to help her everytime I saw her....Miss her everyday
I love contemporary dance. It's my favorite style of dancing because to me, the the most expressive. I'm so glad I'm a dancer!!!

that moment where they're dancing separately and she just jumps straight up and he runs to catch her, it was so simple and breathtakingly beautiful.
Literally crying over here..Travis outdid himself with this one. I couldn't even imagine what he was going through at the time absolute perfection.
This song means so much to me because my whole studio did a dedication dance to this song for my mom because she has breast cancer. At my recital last year. Me and my sister were the stars wearing pink while the rest wore white. And the end we went down the audience and danced in front of her. After we gave her flowers and a vase. It read happy birthday because the day of the recital it was her birthday. We kept it a secret for 2 months. Every Saturday we would sneak out of the house to go to the studio to practice. One time she wanted us to go to Walmart with her but we said we were" going to eat" or "going to the mall" and she got mad at us. 😂we always wore regular clothes over our dance clothes when we left and then changed there. She is doing better know, but still is in pain.

I'll go out on a limb and say this is one of the greatest routines in SYTYCD history!
I adore and have a huge amount of respect for how this show hasn't become commercialised shit like X Factor, or now The Voice. Every time I watch it I'm always awed that humans come up and execute such breathtaking art so flawlessly.
The way this dance moves me just goes to show the incredible impact the art of dance can have on a person. This is the dance I watch when I need to be inspired to do better and push myself.
This piece still hits home like no other.

I watched this as I was at that time also struggling with breast cancer. It was as if it’s made for me and became my ‘theme song’ and ‘theme dance’.

i cry everytime i watch this. everything in it is pure genius.. the choreography, the rewinding at the begining to when she was healthy and them dancing to the end when he pushes her to make tiny steps. The dancing of two amazing dancers, Allison is my all time favorite dancer. The acting. The music.Everything is just pure genius and epic. I don't know how Travis can ever top his pieces.I can't find enough adjectives to describe him or his talent.

Little did they know what was in Robert's future. Thank God they fixed him so he could dance again! And Travis brings it again and again with his routines.
You just CAN't go wrong with this Coldplay song! Even their video brings tears. It's the lyrics, harmony and tones that caress the soul. Blend that with rhythmic dancing and emotional expression.....magic! Had this routine moved to other music? Lackluster! Congratulations Coldplay too!
Allison is such an artist. Everytime she performs contemporary, she brings tears in out eyes! Gotta love her. And Roberts so freakin hot!

allison is incredible, but i have to say, robert outdances even her in this one. he is just bursting at the seams, always, it's fantastic
totally disagree, look at the extensions. Technically he is not there but is still an amazing dancer. Look closely at allison extensions and technique - its flawless!!!
that may be, but robert draws my attention even more than allison, and no doubt she's been my favorite dancer for a long time. technique, extension or no, robert has a special quality that moves me and draws me in. his technique might not be as developed but his dancing is something special - it has a power and magnetism that is truly transcendent. i think by "outdance" i meant his energy and exuberance. it draws you in. and that's just this performance in particular too.... together they are unbeatable.

I lost my mother few months back due cancer and this piece remind of her. I know how hard it is to see your loved ones fighting for there lives and your are unable to help them.... despite of all things you do to comfort to them

My mom got breast cancer this year. So unexpected and unfair. I'm not into dancing or anything, but this is my favorite song and it really touched me. So beautiful and real. It described cancer so good. So I think this dance was not only for his mom, but for all the people who has cancer and their families and friends. And to see your mom with so much pain that you wished it would rather been you. It's hard, and this dance makes so much sense for me. Thank you so much!
Not to take anything away from the emotion or technicality of this dance...but this would have to be just about the worst song edit I've ever heard...

Travis is so amazing it's ridiculous. He choreographed all this beauty and robert and allison were so wonderful and gaah my mind can't take it. Only thing that would make it better would be me seeing him do this. I'd be pure magic I know it would.
I was a dance major and I sing this song to both of my children before bedtime, so this means the world to me. I cry every time I watch.
Second favorite SYTYCD routine of all time. So amazing how it appears they go in "reverse" and the intensity they have throughout. Travis Wall is a genius, and these two were just perfect. Touching and moving. And you just can't beat Coldplay.
I am so glad Robert came back as an all star this season!
