@@ejinathan No defensive options, less mobility after attacks due to sidesteps as well as relatively high animation commitment makes Switch Axe not the easiest weapon to speedrun with.
Nothing quite feels like the Switch Axe though. It just has that perfect balance of oomph to go with that slightly slower speed. I've tried a bunch of other weapons and just can't get along with them like I do SA

Well they can be helpful or, which has happened a couple of times, ruin a really good run by messing you up during a trip.

I stopped playing SA and went HH because i couldnt speedrun well with SA in iceborn.

Was I watching a GS? You know Rajang is screwed when the fight is feels slow and deliberate.
Fighting him with a switch axe is incredibly hard to do especially when the attacks are so slow :(
