I wouldn't really say that Dindin is a "bad" friend because it seems like he is really interested to attract Soya. I actually looked at him as a strong competitor with great flirting skills (even his own mum acknowledges it) against his weak competitor Chang Hee. Jong Kook helped CH so many times but he was still too shy and slow-witted during this first meeting. I hope his niece takes his uncle's advice of not falling into Dindin's love trap. Somehow Kim jongkook finds a way to make his scenes really interesting. It's weird because on paper he'd be a boring person (Gym guy, conservative and principled, these aren't bad qautliites but you get what I mean), but I tend to enjoy most of the scenes he appears in. I think it's smart for Chang Hee and maybe still gets Soya's attention is when he had received the signal of possibly denying, For example: Soya said when he asked how did you do when you drink wine, and she said i throw up ? i mean, it's definitely NOT the right answer if she have a little care about you right ?? throw up ?? and of course MANY SIGNALS OF DENYING from her, then in that moment, Chang Hee should let go with the flow, because, he need to know that if he tried to do anything that he was not experienced before or too sudden to meet the crush (flirting, catching lines, style, skill, or whatever), you should be yourself, don't go to the other people lines.
Maybe you disagree with me, but Chang Hee is older than Dindin. I like Chang Hee in this episode, but the perfect action is to be himself. He's cute, and innocent and you don't have to prove to your crush using the other person's style. Some people might say he's slow, he's weak in flirting but i believe if he knew he was gonna meet crush and just him and Soya, the scenario maybe different, you don't know what happened if you let him and her alone. That the two people, JK and Dindin made him awkward, and more awkward.
