@ohyeahyeah1068 well yeah, obviously it was because of my follow up action but what I meant was if the learner that was in front of me at the junction hadn't decided to stick their car in reverse confusing me with what they were trying to do, then I would have passed that particular test with 0minors. But yes, I had no where to go other than round the learner (on the other side of the road on a blind bend so wouldn't have seen anything trying to turn in until it was too late) but because I didn't make that call to go round them fast enough (as i personally thought i was doing the safest thing), my response to the road user was, understandable, not good enough. That left turn on to the dual carriageway was dodgy, treat it like a roundabout, make sure both lanes are clear. You never know if the approaching car is about to change lanes as you pull out and as you swing the front out it could clip an approaching car if one of the cars is over the centre line.

I passed my driving test in Ireland 3 years ago and I would say that White Kuga was at fault for causing that serious fault at the roundabout as he sped up before the silver jaguar passed him.. In my opinion he should have given you the opportunity to go.
Shouldnt it have been a serious fault for leaving right indicator on for too long? The misleading signal caused the van to slow down and try to give way to let him in. Maybe its different here in Australia, but here in ur test, if u cause other drivers to slow down unnecessarily in any way, thats a serious fault and automatic fail.
So I feel like that situation with that other learner on that roundabout is just caused by bad road design. If you want something to function like a roundabout, make it into an actual roundabout. Usually NRIs, when they visit india say “if you can drive in India, you can drive anywhere” i now can see that 😅 but if this how tests happen in India hardly people will have 4 wheeler license
15:00 nah this is ridiculous, I'm not emergency breaking for someone who's maybe about to enter the round about. Idk what's so special about them being on a test either. Is this some kinda hierarchal shit? AND it was a DANGEROUS fault? How was it dangerous? They're barely moving? You could go no problem instead you decided to make a big deal out of it and make it dangerous by slamming the breaks? Wtf is this insanity
Yeah it seemed like he had plenty of time to me too, but then I realized it might be a cultural thing. In my region almost all roundabouts have actual borders around them, and if they don't, they are still well respected, people drive around them. There, in the video, it seems like a lot of people cut over them. I imagine experienced drivers will be more likely to yield in these intersections, expecting incoming traffic to cut over the roundabout. If that was the case I understand why someone would stop in that situation.
Advisory, signal left to turn when there could be no other option. I just don’t see any reason to signal, just because you have indicators you don’t have to when there is no point.
You call a minor fault advisory. For instance @4:08 (signal timed a bit early) should be a minor because there’s a junction junction before pulling up, that’s because there wasn’t any vehicle in the junction, if there was, that would be a serious fault. @4:57 (junction observation) should be a minor. @7:31 (driving a bit fast) should be minor as well as it’s meeting situation. @10:12 at roundabout is a minor for undue hesitation, and a car sounded horn as well. More importantly, @10:50 (right indicator is still on) driving on a busy dual carriageway confusing & scaring other drivers and a van even moves over to make space for him! This is definitely a serious fault!
Most learner drivers nowadays grew up with indicators that self cancel or turn off automatically after the steering wheel returns to its neutral position. So its natural to think that they dont have to turn it off after making the turn(Though Im surprised it took him that long). I've been guilty of a)Not turning them off after making a turn and B) Either not turning them on fully or making a steering input that causes them to turn off before I even approached the junction/roundabout.
@@ohyeahyeah1068Dunno why your instructor says that. I feel thats a lot more reliable, I wish I got the habit of doing that. You can't always trust them to stay on as long as you'd like. its a lottery.

Not sure how he got in to first, my car won't even allow it no matter how hard you push going at speeds far lower than he was
Slow down on the technical bits and you will make up time on the other parts. You drove well on the whole
Thanks a lot!
Failed my test today unfortunately due to a bin lorry giving way to me then pulling out Infront of me 5 minors but test booked again for the 19th so pretty positive ill pass next time around
Are u sad 😢 failed mine too
Felt annoyed more than anything but knowing how to correct it for next time helps @@zarabukhari6621 get your next test booked in early not everyone passes the first time :)
bismilla insurance 😂😂
Aman, where is your white cardigan from!! I love it x
15:03 So, traffic already on the roundabout has the right of way, but why did we have to stop for the other car if we arrived before? Sorry, I don't live in The U.K. Greetings!
No reason, she was just really strict for no reason
3:10 should have waited for the pedestrian.
He probably saw the pedestrian turning left before he started turning so he didn’t have to wait.
Usually NRIs, when they visit india say “if you can drive in India, you can drive anywhere” i now can see that 😅 but if this how tests happen in India hardly people will have 4 wheeler license
If he was blonde, he would look like a male version of Erin 😅
15:00 I don't get it. The other L car wasn't even on the roundabout when the cam car entered it, if anything it had to yield to the cammer.
I agree
That's what I was thinking. It's no where near the roundaboht
If that was the case I understand why someone would stop in that situation.
and dont you check blind spots before changing lanes ? and not just mirrors
he left the signal on when he stopped before the parallel parking
That's definitely me😂😂
is the car a diesel or petrol?
Advisory, signal left to turn when there could be no other option.
I just don’t see any reason to signal, just because you have indicators you don’t have to when there is no point.
It’s just that the signal could be helpful to pedestrians about
As they may not be expecting us to turn that way
he didn't signal for the parallel park manouver my instructor always says to me that would be a minor not telling other cars what you're doing.
Can’t wait
I started learning to drive in a motorsport. I was driving like a race car in my test. I forgot😂😂
YAA, his driving was too FAST & ROUGH which may DANGER to him & others also..😒
Hope to see updates from Erin 😂
From sri lanka.😊
I’m currently a learner, how do I go about having a lesson with you? I live West London 💞
Ever heard of google?
“Well honey…” 😅
Sometimes at a traffic light, my first gear refuses to go in. Does that mean my car is protesting? 😂
They steer their steering wheel so weird all the time
From Australia 😊
The have any other video, they two?
It’s so easy to tell when Aman is having a bad day…this was one of them
Love video
dont they pick people up on coasting and more ?? and you always used to have to brake before clutch
Wait how do you know they're on a test?
I really don’t get how so many learners leave the indicator running for so long after they have made their turn, it makes a repetitive noise FFS 🤦🏼♀️
I said the same until that mock test
Most learner drivers nowadays grew up with indicators that self cancel or turn off automatically after the steering wheel returns to its neutral position. So its natural to think that they dont have to turn it off after making the turn(Though Im surprised it took him that long). I've been guilty of a)Not turning them off after making a turn and B) Either not turning them on fully or making a steering input that causes them to turn off before I even approached the junction/roundabout.
@@Bav-s30zwhen I was learning I used to get told not to manually turn it off sometimes, so that’s definitely why.
@@ohyeahyeah1068Dunno why your instructor says that. I feel thats a lot more reliable, I wish I got the habit of doing that. You can't always trust them to stay on as long as you'd like. its a lottery.
@@Bav-s30z probably just because i was only leaving it on for like 3 seconds, but now for me it just depends on what the situation is, I do it a lot when exiting roundabouts or non 90 degree turns and lane switching obviously. It is unnecessary to do it manually at like t junctions and stuff usually though.
Which car is this?
hani got no fear
She looks like she's dying on the inside throughout most of the drive xD
HIS DRIVING is too SPEED & ROUGH like HURRY BURRY. When ever a person drives a car it should be SO SMOOTH . Even it is not very APPROPRIATE. This may be even DANGER for HIM and others ALSO..😒
you caused a dangerous [time 15.02] and serious fault on dual roundabout. which is unnecessary and learner car was not even in the roundabout and he doing the correct thing
Priority for traffic on the right side.
@@mhjgh3834 What traffic on the right hand side? Nothing enters the roundabout from the right side during that entire situation. Plus, it's UK and left-side driving, priority would be for the left side, aaand it's a roundabout and all entrances are the same priority (i.e. yield to people already on the roundabout).
homie sucks for u to call him experienced
From India i also wanna learn driving
10:03 Well if he's going, you can go too, especially since you're turning left😁
