I think this is one of the best lives from SOAD. Serj is singing in tune and is not afraid of shouting and damaging his awesome voice (...) and Daron is not drunk or high or pissed of or whatever makes he playing terribly sometimes.

The thing I like about System is that they just keep playing song after song without stopping. They play about two albums, when others just play 10 songs in their concerts.
What I rly admire about this concert is that all their drop C stuff (Science, Needles, all the songs off of Toxicity) are on C#, so Serj constantly hits notes higher than he's supposed, in a really long setlist, and in a fairly clean manner. Serj in his prime imo. (And yes I know that is only one semitone higher, but those notes are hard already, and he used to yell to get, but here he's rly pulling it off)
in my opinion, they should've just brought a second bass and guitar specifically for drop c. i'm not saying their drop c songs sound bad in c#, just saying that so that serj didn't have to keep singing high notes.
Yea the tonal/sonic differences in the tone that Daron was going for from the drop c stuff to the c# material was completely different , mainly toxicity's guitar tone was huge/layered whereas hypnotize/mezmerize was more raw single guitar tracks panned similarly on their first album has a very raw sound , been on a kick of learning their stuff from ear with as little tabs as possible
honestly this is a better show than lowlands as far as how the songs sound, maybe not the same energy because they are more like produced sounding and cleaner/less gritty but I think this is honestly the superior show

What an incredible band especially live.i never really appreciated them back in the late nineties/2000's but played them now and then.now I'm 44 and really have been on a binge just reliving and catching up albums I've not even listened to.Toxicity is a great album with nice production and original ideas.Serj is a great vocalist so much range/diversity and crazy ideas.

The harmonies in Streamline are fucking spot on. That is absolutely unbelievable. Not a single noted has been re pitched. These men actually SANG these notes in perfect harmony. The band were top of their game at this point. Wish i'd seen them in 2005.
