❤as i watched your video,im at work sorting my basil seeds i harvested from my garden..during my breaktime.keep me awake too.thanks for sharing natalie. ❤
Hi Natalie It's that time of year again already. I was going to save pea seeds but my 3 year old grandson loves to forage and picked them to eat. Dill comes up like a weed, guess that's why it's called dill weed. I would normally save tomato seeds but we're traveling to the States in the early spring and can't care for potted plants. Yellow pole beans for sure and zinnia. The pepper squash have done so well and are so big. I may save seed but I thought I would plant butternut next year. That's about it. There were lots of other things but I want to try new varieties. Hope you had a successful garden this year.
I only had so many peas because I was away in July and couldn't keep up with picking them! My son used to love to eat fresh peas from the garden, too. My dill self seeded this year, but I saved seed because I found the plants that came up on their own were perfect for pickling too early--my cucumbers weren't ready. So next year I want to plant the seed a little later to coincide with pickling season. I'll save tomatoes next...but NOT the silver fir. I'm going to plant some Peron Sprayless for sure and maybe another new variety in my endless quest for blight resistant tomato seeds.
I just harvested amaranth yesterday not enough to really do much with it but enough to take him to a seed exchange at the library or something like that or plant some more next year

Oh, that's what I didn't plant this year...basil. Rats. I'll have to be more organized next year. (btw I say that every year. LOL)
I LOVE harvesting seeds from my garden. Best thing ever 💚
I agree!! It seems almost decadent to get next year's seeds for free!
Such a Beautiful place. WOW millions of free seeds. Awesome 😊❤
Thank you! Yes, seed collecting is one of my favourite activities. :D

I love library seed exchanges! Such a great way to try some new varieties. :)
Clearly sweet peas and cherry tomatoes like each other- perfect companion planting 😅
They did extremely well together!
Hello Natalie, so nice to be in the garden on such a beautiful day! May I ask if your 8th Concession is in Ontario, Canada? Thank you🍅🫛🍉
Yes, It is. Zone 5B. September tends to be the nicest month--not too hot but still sunny and warm and NO BUGS! LOL
