Hi! Wow, 9b...I envy the long growing season. Although yes, weather is something we can't control. We're drier now in September than we've been all summer. It was too much rain. Our pond was overflowing its banks and we had standing water a lot of June and July. Thank goodness for raised beds!
Hi Natalie, I was just out picking in my garden. We had been away camping, taking advantage of this fantastic September weather. You're lucky you had early summer blight. Mine was late summer blight. Totally different type of tomato blight. The plants are completely brown including the tomatoes. Its very horrible. I had some that managed to ripen but most succumbed. RATS 😊 We're having zucchini fritters for supper. Zucchinis got big!! Enjoy your potatoes 😋. Nothing tastes better! Ever thought about asking for favourite varieties and what people like about them. Gardens are amazing and a delight for the most part! Lots of good eating. We've been vegetarians since mid July trying to keep up. Bye for now.
I'm so sorry about your poor tomatoes. That was what I dealt with last year...lost my whole crop. Here's hoping it is less of a problem next garden season!
That's amazing potato harvest inspite of a sun skull.maybe u can keep the green one to plant next year.
