    I was born in the year when the Indian constitution was established. I am proud of my country, its culture, its constitution, and its people. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari India is one and that is our strength. Pakistan was doomed the day it gave up its future to the Mulla and military. Trust me when I say that Pakistan will not survive the next five years.

    The politicians who steered India in the first years of independence were constitutional democrats. While they were not free of incompetence and corruption and not all of their initiatives worked, Indian politicians provided stability and ensured continuity of policy. A culture of regular free and fair elections was also established and became deeply entrenched. Despite leakages, funds for developmental programs were deployed to some effect. These programs - like the "green revolution" - were long term ones that delivered enduring benefits.
    All this set India on a very different course from Pakistan...

    From 1947 to 1990, despite martial laws, dismemberment, etc Pakistan progressed with an average economic growth rate of 6% annually. On the other hand, despite being a democracy India’s average economic growth rate was about 4% (commonly known as hindu rate of growth). Similarly, Pakistan’s per capita income was almost double that of India in 1990. So what happened post 1990?
    Did Pakistan forget all good things about its economy especially once it returned to democracy in 90s or India suddenly discovered something which it could not until 1990?
    My dear friends, the answer is that by 1990, Cold War ended. In the new world order, US picked up China as its main rival replacing Soviet Union. In this new world order, US picked India as its partner and not Pakistan. Hence, all the US led Western investments and energies started to go and building India. As a result, investments started dwindling in Pakistan.
    It has taken 30 years for Pakistan to come to this economic downturn and it has also taken 30 years of US led Western support to take India where it is now.
    Could Pakistan have avoided this? I do not know
    Pakistan has got own issues..true, but Indians should not be too happy either. Just wait for the tide to turn and same Indians will be cursing the US after some time 😇

    • @GTH4121
      @GTH4121 9 місяців тому +1

      That 4% gtowth rate of India before liberalisation of 1990's (which you mentioned as Hindu Growth Rate), was India's own, not borrowed from developed nations which Pakistan did in form of that so-called 6% growth rate. When things changed after cold war, India started the upward journey and Pakistan's game was slowly taken away and Pakistan couldn't do anything but desperately adopted Religious Militancy and Bigotry systematically. This happened, because during the era of so-called 6% growth - Pakistani Establishment and politicians didn't use those resources availed from the US and Western World properly to develop industries, education and socio-economic developement in Pakistan, but plundered those money and resources to make themselves rich and prosperous, both offshore and onshore.
      So, yes, Pakistan could have avoided the current situation it is facing that started with the decline post cold war - if only it could use the resources it got during the good time. From 14th Augast, 1947 till date, Pakistan continuously choosing the wrong path. Therefore, the current scenario in Pakistan is quite consequential.

    That's epic. Both seem to be very educated, progressive and well meaning but again they proved by example,why Pakistan is where it is and india stands where it stands. The topic was what india did right( and which Pakistan couldn't).almost 40 percent vlog discussed Palestine/ Israeli issue and little bit kashmir. Israel is 2000 miles away from Pakistan and there is no way Palestinian and Pakistan can do anything for each other and most important it do not matter. The regional identity or culture was not the main difference. The main difference was in thought and human material.Pakistan was carved out on one and only one principle. Two nation theory( in fact hindu phobia). As far as human material is concerned, none of the founding fathers of Pakistan has gone to jail in movement of independence while in India, everyone except few had undergone imprisonment. This one major factor put india and Pakistan on a totally opposite direction and no way they can ever have same future.

    • @vinsin328

You will have your answer. If you guys followed the basic principles of Deen, which are honesty, integrity and righteousness and modesty your country would be the best in the world. It is not about keeping the culture alive. It is about keeping these values alive. Such long irrelevant analysis will not make you prosper. Inculcating these core values will make you prosper.
