I know it's an older video but if I'm doing my front suspension anyway (shocks, tie rods, ball joints) is it easier to get at the steering rack from the bottom?

This was very helpful! I'm restoring a 1973 XJ12 and the 20mm socket trick worked like a charm.

I've always used Imperial tools on my Xj6's. ..... metric seems real odd to me.
