When returned from her funeral, Two couples (her elderly neighbors), came embarrassingly out her tree with buckets half filled with figs. Only Cajuns wouldn't let a good fig rot. I knew my Ma mae, both understood their great taste and forgave them. Lol. I guess that was buckets of hot figs. Lol

I year ya...that's a great memory, thank you for sharing that.....I grew up climbing fig trees and enjoying them cooked by my grandma and mom.
