I have been using these meditations for a couple of months now. I have been battling with chronic anxiety and panic attacks, but making good progress towards healing. Last night while listening in the middle of the night because I had woken with shortness of breath, I got into a really deep blissful state of relaxation, my body felt wonderful. I stayed in this state for an hour or so then as I settled back to try to go to sleep, my body just had several bursts of adrenaline and I was back to square one. Why did this happen? So frustrating as of course I was so wired and jittery, sleep was not happening.
Thank you for sharing your experience. It sounds like you’ve been making great progress, but I can understand how frustrating it must be to have those bursts of adrenaline. I don’t know for sure what’s going on, we’re all so different, but sometimes, when the body and mind are in a deeply relaxed state, it can trigger a release of stored tension, which may explain the adrenaline surges you felt. I hope you can continue to be gentle with yourself as you move forward, and hopefully over time these reactions will lessen-you’re doing great work towards your healing. Sending you lots of positive energy 🙏🏾💖
Took me from extreme unhappiness to peace, thank you
