FRIED RICE Recipe
House Special Fried Rice - Навчання та стиль
I love how you make use of just what you have available. It really reflects what the home cook faces on the daily.
I love the way you give your cooking tutorials. My husband has asked me what I’m doing because my food is soooo much better now. Thank you!
she makes the best enchilada sauce... i use it all the time
@@2hotcrawford I am gonna have to try it
We UA-cam chefs🤣. I went from not knowing how to cook to being a better cook than my wife🤫
I was taught by my Vietnamese friend in college that they freeze the rice then thaw it before making fried rice. Works beautifully and works every time!
Looks really good! BTW, your haircut is so cute. You rock it girl!
I wish you lived nearby, I have a wok (handmade) that I bought in China Town in San Francisco and since my husband passed I don't use it anymore. It does work great, I must say. You have a wonderful day!
Scrumptious! Happy Family! Pork, chicken, shrimp, and eggs will keep you full for sure!
Reminds me of Nee Hao house fried rice in Houston. So good! Mama, if you haven't been to Nee Hao, look it up. It's in an area that might seem a little sketchy, but it's fine and the food is cheap and amazing! Ate there for at least 15 years before I retired and left Houston.
I just made fried rice 2 days ago. I love the addition of bean sprouts. I’ll definitely try that next time.👍🏻👍🏻
I love fried rice. Thank you for recipe. Great Video Angelica!!!👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Look very delicious I love fried rice
I miss when the restaurant used all of the veggies in their fried rice sooo good
Hello! I would almost bet that you could go ahead and add veggies to this recipe. Broccoli, snow peas, and maybe a little julienne sliced sweet red pepper, or even chiles diced up and cooked separately. Spoon it all into a bowl until you are ready to add it when you add the meat. At least that's the way that I would do it because I enjoy veggies in my fried rice as well. Keep on cooking, my friend! 👍
So easy and so delicious!!!! It reminds me of my favorite Chinese chef! Chef Yan! He always ended his show with a saying “ if yan can, you can too!” Boy I love him! Thanks for the recipe girl! ❤️
Martin yan? Yan can cook? That guy was aces!
I've had good luck faking wok hei with a drop of Liquid Smoke on the side of the wok just after I kill the heat. Give it a good stir. I think it actually ends up scenting the rice, not actually flavoring it. I do that with most of my wok cooking. Seems to be ok.
Thank you for this tip👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👩🏾🍳👩🏾🍳👩🏾🍳
So hard for home cook to get real wok hei. Gas stove especially with that burner adapter creates hot high flame best scenario is outside on propane burner set up can create true restaurant quality. Especially when you can order every authentic condiment and ingredient
House Special Fried Rice is our favorite. Your recipe looks super delicious. Can I have a plate, please?
Thank you so much for all of the delicious meal ideas! It is awesome to learn new things and my family has enjoyed every single one 😊 ❤
In my experience, the worst mistake you can make with cooking fried rice is mixing in the eggs before they are firmly cooked.
Agreed. I cook my eggs in a separate pan then add them to my rice.
Yeah that would be disgusting
Excellent vid ! Can't wait to try it !
I just made this fried rice recipe and it was delicious!! We're eating the fried rice with your egg roll recipe that I made yesterday. Thanks for all your great recipes!😊
Hi A.!!! Your recipe for today really does look so...delicious. I will have to try this one day. What a tasty looking rice dish. Great video my friend!!!
You're amazing cook! I love your cooking videos.. the easy way you explained and how you show us how to make it!
Your recipes are great and we enjoy follow every step! Thank you so much!!!! 🤗🥰😋
This is how some of my favorite seafood restaurants in Houston make their fried rice... and now thanks to you I can do it at home. Thanks so much ... and btw yours looks even better than the restaurants.
When preparing meat, the Chinese always add corn or tapioca starch to tenderize the meat (except seafood). It actually gives that toothsome feel you fin in restaurant Chinese food.
Love every meal you have made ty 4 sharing everytime I check what your cooking next , so I can make it for my family 👍
Looks real good thank you for a recipe I can’t wait to try
This is my first time seeing one of your videos. I'm glad it showed up in my feed. Thanks for listing the ingredients and measurements, a lot of cooking channels don't do that. I'll definitely try this. I loved fried rice. Thanks!
I love all your recipes. Look forward to every video.
Looks very Delicious 😋😋, Love all your videos, Thank You!! 💕
Oh Angelica you are correct. I always make my rice a day ahead so it can dry a bit which gives you a more crispy fried rice.
Mmm, looks so good!

Looks so good
Delicious!
I love stir fry and fried rice. I don't have a wok. I have a very well seasoned 14" cast iron skillet. It works great for this type of recipe but, you have to get it hot and keep it hot to get the desired results. thanks for sharing your cooking skills with us. You are making me a better cook.
Gracias por tus recetas me encantan 💖 😘
Looks real good, probably better than the restaurant's, thank you for sharing!!
Yummie!❤

; )
I wasn't hungry till I watched this video...lol
cooking this tonight thanks mama
Thank u
Awesome
Now I know what to do with the lone pork chop in my freezer! Thanks for the great idea to use up orphans in fried rice.
I would love if you’d post a video showcasing the Asian ingredients you use. I have difficulty finding things as I’m limited to grocery stores with small ethnic sections.
Maybe then I can order from Amazon.
Thanks!
Love your haircut! Have you ever added a lil oyster sauce to your sauce mixture? It’s so good! I mix 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp water, 1-2 tbsp oyster sauce and a few drops of sesame oil…
i like your recipe looks delicious
YUMMY
This is a great method. I also add a cup of frozen mixed vegetables at the final stir. 👍
Looks absolutely delicious 😋 😍 👌.
Very nice job!
Note ✍️ Great recipe ! Thank you ! For your cooking 🍳🔪🍳 videos 💯🤗💯. PEACE ✌️
That looks amazing I want some now! For 2 please.
Ahhhh!!! Metal on nonstick makes me crazyyyy!! 😂😂
Looks SO GOOD tho 💕
Great video, the only ingredient that's difficult to find at the supermarket is five spice powder. But I guess I can always make it myself. Thanks for your recipe.😋👍
Love the haircut Angelica (and the recipe, obvs). 😁
Wow 😲😳 thanks 🙏👍🎉 it los great 👍😃 u
For anyone trying to get some wok hei, Kenji Lopez-Alt has a tip to use a blow torch on the rice (or noodles). It lightly chars it, which is essentially what wok hei is. He has a lot of fried rice videos on his channel.
That thumbnail looks AMAZING!!!
I was taught to mix eggs with rice in order to separate the individual rice grains and evenly cook egg. Hope everyone enjoys their fried rice! Always yummy!
u could use basmati rice, they have separate already due to low of sugar
That's what I'm talking about that's way St.Louis fried rice be...full of flavor
I don't eat pork of any kind so I guess I would have to use shrimp or some chicken. That does look tasty though. Thanks for sharing.
I always make extra rice just so I can make fried rice 😃
😋😋
I love bean sprouts with my fried rice but a lot of restaurants near me stopped adding them. This looks amazing. I will have to buy that wine!
I also like frozen peas and carrots in mine!
I gotta go pick up a chicken. Yours looks AMAZING!
👌
Yummy 🤤 your haircut is so cute on you by the way
Looks
I love your metal bowl, always have,,When I seen this fried rice recipe come up and was watching,,I seen the bowl and I knew it was you cooking, lol. ..where can I get one ,I really want one, thanks in advance👍😁
Looks delish!
I am one who wants to know about woks, but my question has to do with non-stick coatings. I've ruined two pans with the high temperatures needed for stir fry. The only woks I've run across have had a non-stick finish, so I haven't bought them. I think I am probably looking for a carbon steel one that I can season like I would a cast iron pan. I think your tip about the Korean market was a good one and is the way I need to go. Thanks!
P.S. I loved the idea of using the Hoisin sauce to mimic the barbecue pork flavors of char siu. I sooo didn't know that.
Looks so good! Question: which H-Mart location do you prefer, and why? We live in the Houston area and I’m curious. We like both locations but especially the one on Blalock because of the food court 😆
