AEG gearbox 101 - Pinion to bevel engagement.

In this video I'll demonstrate how to check the pinion and bevel engagement of AEGs and how to correct it.
Most stock AEGs won't have perfect pinion to bevel engagement although by shimming the bevel properly the issue can be mitigated largely.
However if you're looking for perfection, time to shim and dremel your grip motor plate.

*laughs in V3 gearbox* :D Jk, great Video! You could also shim the grip itself to the gearbox using aluminium tape. In the case of the green grip some layers on the front part of the contact area between the grip and the gearbox should do the trick. The rails on the grip usually have enough tollerance for minor adjustments.

That would be also a way for some grips that are not too off, you could dremel out the rails.
Half of V3s I touched actually doesn't define the motor all that well, I was surprised the amount of play present but at least all easy to solve as the general angles are good.
