  • I started desire a performance Hicapa when I received great results from an experimental TM Hicapa build.
Then I started working at Novritsch and kept working on to achieve the same with a SSP1. It took me about a month to finalize the design, half a year to receive a prototype from the factory, 1 year lost to COVID and 1 year for it to be produced/reach the market.

Honestly was pretty underwhelmed with most of the recent Novritsch releases. This I think is finally a true Novritsch designed product that is worth a while and something different. Very impressed.

I have their P90 and it's pretty excellent. Zero issues and significant upgrades to the P90 design, without changing the asthetic. sling points, digital trigger, MLOK, and unique upgrade options.

"People bitch about this being proprietary, I call it progress." That is the best thing I have every heard said about an airsoft product, that is what every designer needs to be able to say especially those who work at a company like Novritsch which prides itself on being on the cutting edge of technology. I, and the whole airsoft community are so excited about this pistol and to see the next things you design in the future with this mentality!

Thanks so much for taking the time to make this vid, so refreshing to hear real insight rather than the usual ‘look it shoots far’ you get from Novritsch. I have often thought when building hi capas that BBU’s being a separate part from the slide is so inefficient. I dreamed of a 7075 CNC slide with an integrated BBU but knew that there would be challenges to a unibody design like how to make the loading nozzle spring accessible for replacement. This slide out the back approach looks to promise most of the benefits of a unibody design while still leaving the nozzle accessible. Really exciting to see some real innovation in a Hi Capa you don’t see that very often! My only gripe is that it doesn’t have a flat trigger but that is easily remedied with an aftermarket one.

its nice that you've took time out of your own personal time to make it a non proprietary without messing up any of the other things however...... im sorry to say this with copyright laws and etc in place and from what im gonna guess you didn't ask them to do this to their own product, its Germany legal as they have been registered with the germany goverment as they have airsoft gun laws that state they have ot be registered with an F mark and details on what it is and by doing this and not re-registering them its completely illegal in their country and this is something i would have took into consideration before doing this.
novritsch company CAN sue you for copyrighting and others as what your doing is taking their product to copy and altering it.
in my eyes their nothing that needs changing on the ssp5 as what is their that needs to become no-propriety... slide? but why as it works so well and this company has achieve what other couldn't do with split slides.
when doing modification to their products your better off asking first as their is a lot of lawsuits that they can put on you and that will definitely ruin your life, future jobs and your families.
