benefits of reading E book -
    1. Easy lookup - you can use AI to help you understand certain paragraph that you not understanding and finding it very difficult
    2. Dictionary - you can directly copy words from your eBooks and find their meaning , and it is very common problem that people face , and if you are reading technical book people face this problem a lot
    3. Cost effective - Ebooks are cheaper in comparison to paper books (one of the most important factor for me )
    Downside of reading Ebooks -
    1. Distraction - reading ebook on multipurpose device (tablet , smartphone) may create distraction for some people
2.Eye strain - it can create eye strain if you are hooked on it for too long
    3. smell - you miss the smell :)
and one last thing the ownership issue that vimoh talked throughout this video it is rare so i havent putted in downside of reading ebooks

@@rishabhsisodiya8278 Agree to most of the points, but won't agree with the eye strain part. Kindle reader is easy on eyes if used without LED backlight and under enough external light. Because it relies on external light to display the ink.

Beautifully Explained! I just love the way you explain so much and that too so simply, I mean a 5 year old will be able to easily grasp what you teach as compared to his/her school teachers teaching ability.

I have physical book but also I have a kobo ereader where I do most of my reading. I can save article from pocket and RSS, I can read pdf content, I can even read web-content on them, it is very useful when reading books that are difficult (on board dictionary), customizable font is also plus, there is font called "open dyslexic" which helps you increase your reading speed. You don't have to fiddle with the lamp when doing night time reading. The best part is no judgmental eye when reading outside, on a train or a bus, People will think you are on your tablet.
The books that I buy can easily be backed up using softwares like Calibre, so, that's not a problem. Regardless after I finish reading the book I have no use of it. It will just sit in shelf and collect dust and I would be hoarding books in the long run. It's not like the book is immortal, you will lose book to moisture, rats, and other mishaps.

Picked up reading ebooks as a habit when I was a teenager. Had conservative parents that thought money spent on 'novels' is wasted and would only buy gk stuff for me. Ebooks opened up a world for me that was simply not possible any other way. Now that I have started earning money, I try to buy books as much as possible but the habit has remained to a point where I find myself more efficient with my reading via my phone as I pick up anytime I am bored or waiting somewhere flicking thro😂😂😂

Please buy paper book as many people lost their kindle accounts therefore lost their books collection.
Physical Book mean you have full ownership of the book. No subscription fee. The book can be shared with others.
You will have the copy of the year you buy.
For example i have hc Verma concept of physics from 1993 which belong to my father😅
This is important as the publisher can make changes in book you read without you ever noticing it.
Specially with Books like George Orwell 1984, you will never know whether the words you are reading originally belong to authur or someone editted the book at some point of time.
Just torrent the pdf of the book if it is really famous book you will find some one must have uploaded the book pdf😂

buying a physical book, makes you feel like you own a land or something (somewhat builds a ego)

many books are printed on paper which comes from sustainably managed forests, which are made for paper production only and the trees are replanted, still there is environmental impact at some degree but it is minimal, compared to kindle which are made from plastic spreading huge carbon footprints

I prefer owning physical books, yes. But when it comes to actually reading, I find myself wasting too much time on my phone, so I substituted social media with Ebooks. Curiously enough, after doing this, I found myself finishing more books. Now I generally exclusively read Ebooks to save myself from the banes of the internet. I don't buy each Ebook I read. Sometimes, when I have a physical copy, I just obtain a pdf off of the web. If it's a classic, it's already available on the Internet Archives. Sometimes, I even sail high seas to see if a book I'm eyeing is of actually my taste or not.
But when it comes to ownership? Physical books all the way.
