GR a few seasons prior -“working with a chef that tells lies is 10,000 times worse than working with a cook who can’t cook!” Finally, Elise promised on the chopping block that she’d improve on her performance in the next service. Brendan definitely deserved to be Number 1 on this list. At the VERY least, Elise occasionally showed teamwork. Brendan was egotistical as hell. Hence on his one challenge reward, he was annoying everyone, including Ramsay about his family's rich history and the luxuries he owns.
If anyone wondered about the aftermath of the Worst Liar in HK History, I know….. Brendan was unable to return to his old job, and has trouble finding another after HK for being a compulsive liar. So, he went back to school, and later became a “Furniture Salesman”. A proper job for someone who is Dishonest & Broken, like Brendan.

Also, when they show Jen's final confession about wanting to tell ramsey to shove it with her blue chef's jacket, I believe that was an edit. She said this with her Chef's jacket on. When the eliminated contestants are having their final confessions, they don't have their jackets on because, obviously, they've been eliminated.

I think she is one of the best as she was one of if not the most mature out of all of them when it comes to all the winners that exists. if theres anyone that beats her out in Maturity it would probably be Alex, Ryan (S16) or Ariel. Her blunder in the 1st dinner service was more of a mistake rather then an insanely bad service. shes honest and owns up for their mistakes. she didn't get into any of the drama (which like, how?. she ended up giving Robyn the most important piece of advise early on in order to defeat Barbie and she didn't take it) Other then 2 dinner services she was literally the GOAT of every dinner service for the red team. She genuinely did deserve to be one of the best winners on run alone, However I think what happened after is why everyone thinks she is the most successful and most famous winner to ever come out of hells kitchens
I'm far from an encyclopedia on HK so there's probably other winners for which there are asterisks, but from what I remember more often than not she was on apps, and was literally NEVER on fish, so yeah you can look good when you're doing largely the same station every time. She deserved to win her season I won't argue that but I really think people started watching when she was a sous chef and assume that means she was a top tier winner. Personally I'd put Danny, Dave, Paul, Meghan, Ariel 18, Ryan 16 and 22, Alex, La Tasha, and Scott over her skill wise.
