memes filled with laughter or immense pain. Sometimes memes with dark humor
I love when people go more into depth on Hero’s side of things. Yes Sunny lost his sister, the rest of the kids lost their good friend... but Hero lost his childhood lover that ended up affecting his real dreams when growing up, he bottled up so much pain and quit cooking. Seeing how lovey dovey him and Mari were in Basil’s photos always breaks my heart
It's a lot harder to go in depth on hero simply because he doesn't show it at all. We only really get two scenes that talk about it or show it, so it's insanely difficult to do this kinda stuff on hero.
Yeah he's my favorite character and as a Heromari shipper, seeing those two where Kel talks about how hard it was for Hero after Mar's death and Hero crying over Mari's piano was so heartbreaking :((

it's so great. Sometime people forget how it affected Hero and in a way Kel, Aubrey was sure devasted but she at least kept a certain 'sanity' while Hero was just extremly depressed and was feeling extremly guilty about this. In a way he reacted like Sunny, shutting down and feeling only guilt about this, but he was saved by his brother. It was an extremly hard time for him and that can be traumatizing for his future relationships, especially when he'll learn/has learned the truth. He will be very protective but not give his confiance with some people by being afraid they'll maybe die (of course he'll probably overcome this and all, but this can still happen). Sunny overcomed his trauma, but Hero overcomed what he thought was true. That's a long way up..
So cool! The lyrics also match with their story!

I definitely wasn't crying by the end of this video, and you can't prove it
seeing how cute they were together, and how empty hero is always depicted after mari dies, it is so sad, the amount of suffering they all go through is heartbreaking. i feel like i shouldnt watch this because it makes me feel so so pained. omori is a great game and these animatics never stop being able to make me feel such strong emotions. this is absolutely great! i love it i really do.

Absolutely amazing. I love it so much. Deserves more comments. One of my favourite debates on the game is how Hero hearing Mari playing the piano plays into the hallucination/spirit debate. Hero was very well represented here. I loved it.
They should make some sort of dlc where Mari *doesnt* die

Another day, another discovery of a wonderful piece of work expressing more of this brilliant game in ways that make me feel as though I've seen through a whole different angle of the story. A story that I only know bits and pieces about and yet all these thoughts fit together so fully. Thank you for this. oh my god when i saw this pop up in my recommended i immediately felt like crying why does hero's pain hit me so hard? this is really well done, and this is one of my favourite songs because i can relate to it in a sad way. i wish these characters could be happy but realistically, things aren't always sunshine and rainbows. not even for kids. not even for child lovers.
This made me sad because I love Mari so much and seeing Hero sad shatters me like glass 😭 you deserve my subscription :')
