Poor Hannah! So trusting.. Trying to see even a speck of good in everyone, even someone like Ramsey. Felt he loved Miranda. I was waiting for the facial expression from her when Ramsey said feed Miranda to the hounds, and it did not disappoint!

I mean, as horrid as it sounds; feeding her to the dogs does make sense. Winter is coming, and they don't know how long it will last. One corpse to the dogs today, might mean one day worth of beef more mid winter. 🤷

@davebrayfb I think he did love her. She fed his ego, and she went along with anything his twisted mind could come up with. He absolutely did love her, which made his coldheartedness and lack of sentimentality stand out that much more. Not because it is very shocking, it just confirmed what he is like. The practicality he demonstrated by ordering for her to be fed to the dogs, was in hard contrast to his feelings for her. The shift was extremely disturbing. Not because he wanted her to be dog food; that makes perfect sense. But the shift... Her death clearly hit him hard, but the way he just turned off his feelings and went cold and practical, was executed with an impressive precision. That actor was born to play Ramsay.

Melisandre is actually said to be over 400 years old....but i was making a joke because in Return of the Jedi, Luke Skywalker is looking at Yoda who is struggling and so old and does not have so long left....so Yoda says:
"That face you make... look I so old to young eyes?"
Luke says "No. Of course not."
Yoda says " I do. Yes, I do. Sick have I become, old and weak... When nine hundred years old *you* reach, look as good *you* will not, hmm?“

The reason Sansa and Theon survived the jump was the meters upon meters of snow piled up against the walls. Not saying they wouldn't hurt themselves irl, but snowdrifts are soft.
As shown in The Shining when Danny climbed out of the window. I was so envious as a child because of that slide.

Doran Martell and his son getting killed REALLY pissed me off. There was NO redemption for the Sand sisters after this episode for me.
I don't think the show writers knew what to do with the Dorne plot or the sisters and just decided to write the whole thing off. Can't recall if any official reason was given.
@@Vipre- Saw something about Alexander Siddig. He said he signed on for 4 episodes but was killed in the first. So they LOST money by killing him off early. His theory was he said something to piss someone off, but who knows.
D&D butchered that plot like many things in book 4 & 5 😩 it's obvious that by season 5 they knew they wanted to end the show soon so they just didn't want to do the Dorne plot properly. Instead they drastically simplified the whole story by getting rid of characters and subplots left and right...
The Dorne arc was supposed to be way more complicated than that, involving more characters and subplots. Unfortunately D&D had other plans.
That scene with Cersei watching the boat come in was a master class in acting. No words spoken, but she said so much with just her eyes and facial expressions as her emotions ran the full gamut from the joy of thinking her daughter was coming home to the pain and despair when she realized what was happening.
A good series hardly covered is Ozark. Maybe you and Ash could watch one episode and see how you like it? It’s really intense…..

Melissandre is centuries old. The necklace is magically keeping her alive. In this scene she removed it... She's attempting suicide.
This is an interesting take and I have considered it and like the idea but unless you have some insider knowledge isn't it just as likely she didn't want to go to bed wearing a huge choker (i wouldnt)? But if you do have insider knowledge it's a fun theory so point me in that direction of GRRM or D&D talking about it.
The necklace is just the flame decoder. She no longer trusts Flameflix.
I think she wanted to feel human (getting old, the certainty of death) because she got so far removed from it, she was post-human or a demi goddess and her mistakes reminded her that she is not and will never be.

As much as I enjoy Ash's videos, when I go to your videos and immediately see him I know exactly what's coming and his shtick that he does with you is a bit old by now. It can sometimes be funny in his videos, but falls flat here. You are a great content creator on your own. You fill in the content with great commentary and fantastic energy. "How did they believe when she said she was the wife of kal drogo when they didn't believe the other stuff" Well... you are seeing the first signs that the show quality is going down.
I don't know about that... Word travels. They probably heard Drogo had a wife befitting her physical characteristics and decided that was sufficient evidence along with the claim and the nice clothes. I would agree the last couple of seasons are more rushed and have a little less polish in the dialogue, but I feel like that only really starts in Season 7.

Because the Dothraki wouldn't give a damn about who she was to/in the outside world, they conquer those, but they would care about a former Khaleesi due to their place within their societal structure.
It wasn't about believing it. The Khal just didn't care for any of it but got serious when she mentioned something he knew about. There are far worse issues in this episode, like Brienne rescuing Sansa in spite of missing her candle in the previous one, Davos locking himself in with the others for no reason at all or Edd being able to sneak out but the others not trying to.

First found you and Ash reviewing SW OT, which was also awesome, and when I ran through all the GoT's reactions you'd done so far I started on Stranger Things. Also - TOP NOTCH! The score for season 6 is on another level. Djawadi did a great job with it. On this episode, continuity forgot(or didn't realise) the power of the necklace. Melisandra has a bath in an earlier episode and isn't wearing it.
If it’s any consolation season 6 is arguably the BEST season of the whole series according to popular opinion. I’m glad you still watching Hannah!

You should consider watching a few random episodes of an old American series called Hart to Hart sometime. It's a nice, sweet, romantic mystery series about a wealthy couple who solve crimes for fun (at least watch the pilot episode together). Or watch Chuck, or The Orville, or What We Do in Shadows if you haven't seen them (The Orville just might draw in the sci-fi crowd and those who love Seth MacFarlane comedies). All fun shows - the cure for cynical (if amazing) stuff like The Sopranos, GoT, Scandal, House of Cards, etc. - but still amazing imo.
As for Ash's question, "Have you ever had a girlfriend and known that what you're about to say will tick her off and then said it anyway...?" The answer is, yes, but be warned that many a comedian has felt lonely from time to time (while complete jerks get the girls because they know how and when to smile sweetly and lie). They say there are just two words that can save a relationship, "Yes, dear." Helps if both parties can learn how and when to use them. I HATE IT when mom and dad fight, lol, but thanks for the laughs, the sharing, and the reactions, cheers from the States!
Oberyn's daughters killed their cousin and his beloved brother on his behalf - absolutely ridiculous rewrite.
Book Doran was playing possum but had a number of different plots hatched over years with Oberyn.
This dumb down in favour of Dorne being Charlies Angels was just rotten.
Hate Ramsey with every fiber of my being, but have to give props to the actor he plays a formidable villian. If we dont hate our villians they aren't very good, just my opinion. Cersei is another formidable villian, her hate towards everyone caused her childrens deaths and she was ok knowing the things she does would have consequences. Ngl I feel so bad for the body double. When the reveal happens, I understand the shock but like...old people exist, you know? They did prosthetics over her face but the rest is a body double. I can't imagine how she feels when everyone recoils in disgust
Just a smol thing as you mentioned it in the last video when they went to make the jump as well. The snow they jumped into was a massive snow drift.. Winterfell is in the middle of a HUGE open field and has harsh arctic Winters. So it would have likely been a solide 20 foot drift of powdery snow they were falling into which would have still fuckin' hurt but protected them from injury.
"He didn't have the mindset for revenge and justice." Revenge and justice for what? His brother volunteered to get into a 1 on 1 fight to the death. The fight was 1 on 1, no one interfered. It was a completely fair fight. A fight he fight to a draw actually. A fight he had won if he hadn't got an attitude. Killing because you're pissed he lost a fair fight isn't revenge and it damn well isn't justice.
I've never heard anyone explain the magic necklace. Shouldn't everyone just start fighting for the necklace that either makes you young forever or just makes you look young? The venture capitalists in Braavos need to get on this.

Hanna, she’s a really old witch. That’s what she actually looks like but she’s able to use her magic to appear as a beautiful young woman. I would do the same if I could. 😂 The writers are just trying to show you this.
