And also that if they haven't gone to the Mormont's to get those 30 guys, maybe Jon wouldn't have gotten that shield. That every single soldier counted.
Yep, great catch! The Mormonts have long been among the Stark's most stalwart bannermen, and so the SYMBOLISM (😉) of Jon being protected by a Mormont shield is very deliberate.
As an abuse Survivor myself. What Ramsey meant is the trauma he inflicted on Sansa is a part of her now & will haunt her forever. That’s why she said the memory of him etc etc will disappear. So he would know even in death, his torture towards her would not rule or ruin her life
I remember when this episode aired, everyone completely missed the point of that line and thought that the “I’m part of you now” meant Sansa was pregnant. While that wouldn’t be impossible and would definitely have added weight to the line, Ramsay would have no way of knowing that if she’s not showing.

One thing that bugged me with this episode was sansa keeping little fingers army a secret, when jon asks where are they going to get more men, she could have answered but nope.
She didn’t know for certain if Littlefinger would even help considering he’s Littlefinger. Best to keep it a secret so Jon doesn’t have false hope and Ramsay doesn’t have any way of finding out about her potential plan. Playing it safe rather than sorry.
Sansa is goading Jon before the battle, getting him to yell out that they are hopelessly outnumbered. This is for Ramsey's spies. We know he had them in Jon's camp because at the parley Ramsey gives an accurate account of the number and make up of Jon's army. He had them in Stannis' camp too. Sansa is pulling off two deceptions here. She's lying to Jon by omission about LF and bemoaning their lack of men. She's also indirectly telling the same lie to Ramsey, except that she also gets Jon to say it for Ramsey's benefit. And because Jon really believes it, he comes off as utterly sincere so that Ramsey's spies won't suspect any deception.
If Sansa has just been honest with Jon and told him about the army from the Vale, they wouldn't have lost so many people, including, Wun Wun. Always bothered me, lol. Love the reaction as always and happy belated birthday!
If Sansa had told him, the battle still would have ended up a bloody mess. Jon's battle plans were not great to begin with (no strategy for a giant??... really)... but the plans he did create, he ultimately trashed by doing exactly what Sansa warned him against. He fell for Ramsay's trap, and Jon's men had to scrap all previous plans by following him.
@@NovaLena22 She *did* tell him. She told him to wait for more men without telling him that there would be more men... so you can't really say that this was her plan all along. Her motivations and logic in this episode were kind of all over the place and can't be pinpointed. I dislike how Sansa's portrayed as the savior and strategic mastermind here when she partially caused this with her shiftiness. I feel like Jon's mistakes and recklessness were heavily due to being misled to believe that this is a completely hopeless fight. The giant's involvement in the battle was just written badly in all honesty. When the Bolton army surrounded them, he could've just punched a hole in the formation, instead of swatting at them awkwardly. He's a giant!
If Ramsey saw that they had a decent sized fighting force he would hole up at Winterfell for a siege. He only met them on the field outside the walls because it looked like an easy win.
@@krissuyx So....anything we don't like about the storyline which might paint Jon in a bad light is terrible writing... but everything else is Sansa's fault. Got it!!!
I totally understand your excitement at Ramsey's demise but you were talking so much that you completely missed Sansa's face as she walked away down the tunnel. If you reacted like this to this amazing episode, you're going to lose your mind for the finale, actually the best episode ever. Way to get invested in a show I felt what you felt. You're great!
So, the direwolves of the stark children have more meaning: Ghost - Jon is a ghost, a man walking beyond death Summer - died when 'winter came' Lady - Sansa became a lady and learned to hate that wish Shaggydog - is a term that defines a rambling story that leads to nothing, much like Rickon's story. Nymeria - named after a legendary warrior... Need I say more than 'Arya'? Grey wind - Grey, being the colour of the starks Robb embodied the stark more than anyone - he was also described as a grey blur on the battlefield.
Summer died when Bran became the Three-Eyed Raven, Rickon lived "wild" like a shaggy dog after losing his family, and the "ghostliness" of Jon's White Wolf is more than just a reference to his resurrection (also, the bastard sigil for the Starks would be a white direwolf on a black background).
Battle of the Bastards and Winds of Winter (next episode) are the best 2 episodes of Game of Thrones - maybe of television, ever - and I will die on that hill. So glad we’ve gotten to this point. ❤
S/O to Ash for his ability to not give away spoilers about the show because I know as a bf that it’s hard 😂💯 love seeing the chaos from Hannah’s reaction every upload
If I was sansa I would also hold back the fact that I asked help from baelish, not only cause how would I know if he was truly coming, but also cause Jon is an honorable fool like daddy Ned & he might straight up refuse any help from Baelish. So if I'm sansa my only choice is to stall him, which she tried her best to do. Meanwhile, during Blackwater Tywin had zero excuse to not send a messanger to Tyrion to let him know he was coming, so Tyrion could retreat behind the city gates & not stupidly attack stannis headfirst which led thousands of Lannister soldiers dying. But Tywin chose a grand entrance & the fans fawned over it. Double standards. As for the visbility of the vale coming, everyone in the North was in the battlefield, who is gonna give the signal? And to whom? It's not any different from Stannis' army managing to disembark in Eastwarch and travel to the other side of the wall near Castle Black & still managing to catch thousands of wildlings by surprise. Double standards. This was the best catharsis, comeuppance I've ever seen in any TV show cause of the long slowburn buildup.
I think when Ramsey said there was a part of him in Sansa still, he was referring to the fact that she was no longer the innocent girl she was before. He 'infected' her with some of his ruthlessness, cunning, and malice.
The Red Woman doesn't have superpowers. It's not her power at all. She's just a vessel for the Lord of Light's power, and she can only do what he commands her. If he denies her his power to help Jon's army, it wouldn't be the first time he forsook a king and his army.
Makes you wonder who the Lord of Light really is. Many supernatural forces are misunderstood or misinterpreted in this world. My money would be on the Three Eyed Raven or someone like him
The Red Woman claims she has no power and that instead it all comes from the Lord of Light. Mirri Maz Duur says her power comes from the Great Shepard. The Faceless Men give homage to the Many Faced God. Dany claims her power comes from her true dragon's blood. The Warlocks think their power is from themselves. Where does Bran's power come from? Or the wargs'? The honest answer is that none of these people really know where their power comes from so they tend to repeat the supernatural tales someone told to them.

I've been waiting a long time for you to see this episode, Hannah, and it was most definitely worth the wait! Can't wait for you to see the finale!
Yeah I think the sentence means... either she's pregnant, because she's his wife, or she's mentally/physically traumatized by him and will never forget - I'm leaning towards the trauma because of the stuff she mentioned about no one remembering him or his house. Great reaction! Love how immersed you get into things
I can't WAIT to see your reaction to the next episode! It is absolutely out of this world good. The opening music is my ringtone and alarm 😂 My favorite episode of tv of all time. I know this episode was emotionally exhausting but the finale is a whole roller-coaster!
"A right knob end". I haven't heard that in a long time and it is about as British as it gets. 😂 Love it
i love Ramsay, such a great character to watch, so cunning and strategic
Ramsey doing all that trauma to Sansa is how he's a part of her
we need the next one ASAP, probably my joint favourite episode
My only complaint is that Theon wasn't there to see Ramsey die brutally. He deserved to see it more than anyone else.
One of the best episodes to ever happen!! In TV history.
Great reaction, Hannah! I look forward to your reactions for the next episode 🤐😉
Feels like i've been waiting my whole life for the next two episodes! 😂❤
Your reactions never disappoint. I can't wait for the next episode. It's just as good (in a different way).
One of THE best!
Thank you, Hannah!
The steam coming out of her ears is so funny 😂😂
As always, an amazing reaction!❤
The episode we all have waited for you to see 😊
In my mind Ramsey being with her means the memory of him, what he's done and how it changed her.
Absolutely love this episode, that fight was spectacular and so well made!
Great reaction ones again :D
I understand your busy but I love you GOT reactions, they're truly real. I've been waiting to see this one since your red wedding reaction. Love them I just wish you would post at least 1 a week lol
Great reaction to one of my favorite episodes! All the emotions on this one.
Great editing, too. Steambot Hannah is a vibe 😆
Best reaction to the best episode of any series 🔥♥️ love your big heart Hannah
If you reacted like this to this amazing episode, you're going to lose your mind for the finale, actually the best episode ever.
Way to get invested in a show I felt what you felt. You're great!
Hannah, your intro’s are almost as entertaining as the actual reaction. I just can’t get enough of you❤❤😂😂😂
This episode made me anxious as hell the first time I watched it lol.
So, the direwolves of the stark children have more meaning:
Ghost - Jon is a ghost, a man walking beyond death
Summer - died when 'winter came'
Lady - Sansa became a lady and learned to hate that wish
Shaggydog - is a term that defines a rambling story that leads to nothing, much like Rickon's story.
My money would be on the Three Eyed Raven or someone like him
@@robertfishburn8545 I never read the books, but it sounds like you might have. This is a very interesting question, indeed!
@@gunkulator1 interesting
I just wanna say i really really like the editing, you got me entertained or laughing all the time
Hannah….you made rewatch Game of thrones again, cant believe we’re gonna go through season 7-8 together
Ok, I needed this so badly today! Thank you Hannah!
Her emotionality is what makes her a great reactor lol
I just love you Hannah!! ❤❤❤❤ Fantastic reaction!!
