The attention to detail on the ripper setup and calibrating the TrueSet frame is impressive. It’s crazy how every little adjustment can make a difference in tillage. High-tech farming at its finest!
I highly enjoy the editing, always actions not just boring talks to fill out time requested by Google to sell more ads. Thank you for sharing your videos. God bless you and your family.
My father grew up on a farm. As we know, dogs always have farms. My dad had a dog named Cookie. One day (in the late 1950's) Cookie got run over by a tractor. She was fine, but one of her front paws was slightly bruised. She healed up rather quick and stopped limping. But whenever dad would say, "Cookie! Are you hurt?" She would start limping again, but could never remember which front paw was hurting. I wish I had met that dog.
I cannot imagine the amount of propane you must use to dry corn and soybeans. Wow. What an operation. Thank you for sharing. Its very interesting and you are a good ACTOR. Are the dogs actors too?
They don't have stones - if you watch the spring videos when they "pick rocks" some of them are the size of a large dog and they have had companies remove some the size of a car.
Did lots of tillage in my teens and early 20s for Dad ~40yrs ago. Moldboard plow days. Old alfalfa hay fields always would pull the hardest, worse than low (wet) areas in cornstalks even.
@@jeremygrant1325 yeah I always used to fight with my granny who told me it doesn't matter that it all goes into the same stomach, I should still eat desert last
I have seen in central AL and MS, the voluntary corn come up in the fall look like a field of corn sowed with a drill. Several bushels to the acre look like. We are in the middle of severe drought on the weather map.
We were surprised by how dry the corn was on our farm NW of you. We didn't think it was going to be that dry. Then wettest we had was 18.5%. The dryest we combined was 13%. About half the crop was dry coming out of the field.
One way to stop the disc making loud noises is to put some fingers between the tool and the disc… Unfortunately this method also makes the recorded content not so child friendly
You would think those sheetmetal corners would come with thicker steel where grain at high speeds and sharp turns will wear out faster. But im not a grainleg builder. What do I know! 🤣
Couldn’t you build a little wooden house outside for the critters to live in through the winter, then they wouldn’t want to sleep in the cutter bar header thing. All the best from England .
"I smooshed my hand!" How can you tell? Wait till you get to be an old man, THEN you can tell when you smoosh your hand. And it'll happen way too easily! 😁
ohhh... it made me very nervous for you to push that breaker bar towards your dad... ya'll prob should have switched positions so you would have been pushing it away from him... anyway.. great work ya'll.. hope the rest of harvest goes well.. be safe out there
I love the fact that your Dad applies the old rule, that everything’s a hammer.
Seeing you working with your dad reminds me of when my dad and I working on equipment together. I miss that.
There’s three generations of farmers in that operation…. If that’s not American I don’t know what is!!!
Aww shit I’m off!!! Died laughing!! Never heard your dad cuss before. Classic!!

But yet it was done for so long without it by knowing your game
The times they are a changing 😊
Beautiful to see Father ,Son and grandson working together.
Hehe. You Dad was real nervous about getting smacked in the face with the wrench. Good to stay cautious. Have a great rest of harvest!
I spotted that too lol
Hope y’all are having a wonderful day
Currently watching the video while I’m 20 plus feet up a tree in the deer stand!
If only you could have paid actor deer to walk in front of your stand! 😂
Enjoyed watching ,,, think thats the first time Ive ever heard your dad swear ... hes the best always Ice !

Crazy that it’s the first year for the new dryer and you have some of the driest corn ever! 😅
“Even with a harness on” what even for 2M followers Zach?
Nope, I’m with you. Leave that to the very brave experts.

Good morning from Upperfranconia Germany.
Adapt and overcome! Love your ingenuity on pulling the cover off the Honeybee header! Be safe!
Those combines sure take a beating ...
So many moving parts & wear points ..
Good to see you back up and harvesting again.
“It’s tight”
Thanks dad. ❤ Noticed that.
Morning from your neighbours to the North in Western Canada! Cheers!!
Your vids are so informative and relaxing in a way! Keep up the good work man 👌

Catywampus , good lord , haven't heard that in a long time !! Gread vid , as usual . Stay Safe , Farm Safe ..
I run a lemken Ruben cultivator it's pretty damn tough and doesn't mind stones. The joys of farming..

I was only the factory technician for a small agriculture supplier in North Western Germany, but I would love to work with you and your Dad 😁

"oh sh!!, I'm off" says Nate. Zach just'a grins from ear to ear. Made me laugh.
I’m with you on the heights. My feet feel sweaty watching someone else working up high like that, even on a video.
I'm a simple man, I see a new video, I like it, I leave a comment and then I go to watch it
Well you're obviously noble and subscribed, but did you like the video as well? 😂
You eat dessert first too dont you.
@@kylejonesUB absolutely, other than my standard complaint which is "they still don't make these episodes 9 hour long"

Classic! I got to hear ur dad cuss for once. Even Superman has his moments 🤣🤣
Preparing for the dance!
I think the dry corn is Murphy's law. New dryer, so dry corn 😂
I love Dad, everything is a hammer 😊
So many adjustments, so little time...the farmer's life with implements.
Hi 👋 Zach Johnson
I have seen in central AL and MS, the voluntary corn come up in the fall look like a field of corn sowed with a drill. Several bushels to the acre look like. We are in the middle of severe drought on the weather map.
You need a forge, blacksmith hammer and anvil to fix that shank! Probably finding a blacksmith nowaday is hard😂
Good use of Cattywampus = something is askew, awry, or not directly across from something else.
Kitty corner around here
Kittywampus, or just wampused
That bolt bin would be perfect for about a week around here and it'd be in complete chaos!!😂😂
Working ground Is like Getting a new Child It’s So Exciting !

I find it interesting that so many of these people have shops that some dealerships wish that they could have.
Thanks for the show guys 🍻
Very lovely and substantial 🍁
Ope!
Just here with a comment to boost the UA-cam algorithm.
Thanks, Becky.
Making me twitch a little. We trade ground for old alfalfa to plant potatoes in and I agree there's something extra satisfying about tilling alfalfa.
I’ve heard a lot of farmers in MN are having surprisingly good crops this year.
The moisture content is low as the crops are scared of the new dryer😅
One way to stop the disc making loud noises is to put some fingers between the tool and the disc… Unfortunately this method also makes the recorded content not so child friendly
Excellent video Zack can't wait to see that new dryer in action
See you have one of those combination wrench/hammer things!
Good morning from the deer stand
These MF videos are like the Coen brothers movie Fargo, unexpected excellence. Thanks for sharing.
Make sure its a happy harvest dance...
Tilling hay ground can be satisfying. Until you wrap baler twine around a shaft and smoke a bearing.
Great video good to see y'all
Farmers finding out AR 500 shooting plates make great grain transfer tubes. Standard galvanizing no longer works.
You would think those sheetmetal corners would come with thicker steel where grain at high speeds and sharp turns will wear out faster. But im not a grainleg builder. What do I know! 🤣
Weather has nothing to do with the dry corn. Its all because you have the shinny new dryer.
🤣🤣🤣
Hi Zack from Indiana
0:07 oh no what now the anticipation is killing me
Good job guys
Greetings from the 406 state
I love your videos so much Zac keep the great work going
Yes, some of us (well I do) read the description :D
“Give me a wrench”!
“What size?”
“Don’t care, I’m going to use it as a hammer!”
Almost gave us the MF Dr. Seuss improv riff. That would have been priceless!
Couldn’t you build a little wooden house outside for the critters to live in through the winter, then they wouldn’t want to sleep in the cutter bar header thing. All the best from England .
I wanna see the dance 😂
Great video
Good morning
telling ya- starter fertilizers speeds up germination, which speeds up maturity. Usually 3-5% drier is side by side trials.
Mornin keep up the good work
4k views and 647 likes, we need to like the videos some more guys :) .
Put up a timelapse camera in the cab when combining!!
If you have a Acetylene and oxygen kit you could heat that c shape bar up and retweak it back in line.
You should sell those old disks , to some city slickers for fire pits
"I smooshed my hand!"
How can you tell? Wait till you get to be an old man, THEN you can tell when you smoosh your hand.
And it'll happen way too easily! 😁
Yup! I still got purple "smoosh marks" on my arms from the last time I banged em up 🤣
I don’t like heights either and it no fun working when your scared, those men that build high rises in the big city I take my hat off to them .
Yes, I read the description. Is it a freestyle dance? 😂
Could we get Randy to interview Zach Daniel's on off the husk?! We all miss the podcast!
Zach dances? Who knew? Yes, some people do read the video description Zach.
2 questions, are you guys lacking rain like we are in Illinois? Also is ur upload schedule 2-3 days within your current real time harvesting?
HEY! Gooooooooooood morning !!
Filll your propane tanks now. Will there be a shortage like last year?
All ahead flank on the corn.
Totally missed an opportunity for a Tommy Boy reference Zach....it's not really bent here, and not so much here.....but right in here..😅
If you listen closely the dogs says goodMorning Back 😂😂0.01-0.02
Could you not lower the implement down and make that easier. Not Monday morning quaterbacking but just curious.
We have had 18 meter headers for many years now, so why don't we see that in the videos from the US?
W farmer you are the best

Hi
I don’t think a cat and a hat will help you at the top of that leg zac. lol
Little heat and muscles can bend that back
Nice video❤ Are you planning to buy the new 9RX?

I am not a fan of heights either.
