By design. One number off glory, one letter of the natural response.
I've noticed a bug with vacuum where it either doesn't attract everything or the red gem just goes over your character's head, doesn't get absorbed and just disappears out of screen.
The spin change is an optical illusion based on the rotation speed and the frame rate.

It's a stroboscopic effect. Sometimes called wagonwheel effect.
Computers aren't the only ones who use fps. The human eye can process visual data between 30 and 60 fps.
Imagine a spoked wheel.
Imagine a video camera that records at exactly 30fps.
When it spins slowly clockwise, you take 30 pictures of it per second, and can easily process that it is spinning CW.
Once the wheel speeds up to a certain point, it can appear completely motionless if it _exactly_ matches the frame rate of the camera recording it. If you're recording a CW spinning wheel that rotates 30 times per second with a 30fps camera, then the spokes will be in the exact same spot in all 30 pictures.
If you increase the rotation speed to 31 clockwise rotations per second, then everytime your camera takes a shot, the wheel will appear to be behind it's position in the previous frame. This will create the illusion of a wheel spinning slowly CCW.
If the rotation speed continues to build, the perceived CCW speed will increase, until 60 rps where it appears stationary again. At 61 the wheel will appear to move CW again. And so on and so forth.
Since you have Boogaloo of Illusions, the rotation is speed is oscillating above and below the thresholds of your human vision. Making it seem like it reverses and unreverses direction

Yes and her two set of weapons are also the colors of Bayo weapons in 1 and 2 and her Evo weapon is the ultimate weapon of Bayo 1, if you hold attack button she shoots lasers. I live this character
The sort of... helicopter rotor reversal as the speed of the weapon runs into the framerate is pretty fun to see. The mandala effect is once the area gets large enough is also cool.

When gaps between Phieraggi disappear, it looks like a whirlpool or a hurricane eye.
Modded terraria has this boss called "the mutant" and he has an attack pattern similar to this. Also the weapon base and evo reminds me of touhou.

If thr beams rotate by a tiny bit less than { ( 360d / number or beams ) + 360d * n }, it will look like they rotate backwards. For the front beam, you can use the same calculation with number being 1 to get thr same effect.

How do you get that little indicator that shows the timing of curse/luck, etc? Is that in the base game or a mod?

The thing going sometimes clockwise and sometimes counterclockwise isn't an optical illusion, it's happening because of theory of information and it's called aliasing.
Basically any information can be seen as a mathematical function and as a frequency - now for this thing it's easy the frequency here is based on the rotation speed.
And now the maths - when you have something with a big ass frequency and you're gathering data at a too small frequency (in your case your monitor probably has 30, 60 or 120 Hz) new information gets created such as this thing spinning in the wrong direction. It's the same thing that causes helicopter blades to sometimes appear stationary on video.

i did a run where i played the queen with wicked season and the 3 growth arcanas and my stats were 1300%+.
I've just started playing VS. Just wondering what the unlock for the thing that cycles between growth, curse, luck is?
That is the Wicked Season arcana. In order to use it you need to unlock a few things.
First, you must play until you unlock the third level, Dairy Plant, and follow the arrow there to collect the Milky Way Map. Then, continue to the fourth level, Gallo Tower, and use the map to locate the Ramdomazzo relic.
After that, you need to get the pentagram weapon to level 7 to unlock Christine, and, _finally,_ reach level 50 as Christine to unlock Wicked Season.
Blimey, that's a lot of blue. And damage.

hi,on mobile i can't upgrade weapons like that,i mean after u finish all to upgrade u upgrade u r pistols so much ..wish i could do that on mobile.
You can do it on mobile. You just need to unlock the Great Gospel relic from Cappella Magna to enable limit break.
First, survive 14 minutes on Moongolow with a standard character to unlock the secret stage, Holy Forbidden. Play that and make it to the end (use a fast character with a decent starter weapon) and collect the Yellow Sign relic. After that, you simply need to survive 30 minutes on Cappella Magna...
I did this last night and got to level 1604, 588k enemies defeated, and Phieraggi dealt 22.1G damage. I didn’t use Chaos in the Night though. I think sometimes the game doesn’t always count or even register enemy deaths correctly.
I assume you didn't use inverse mode, inverse mode cuts damage down a lot because it takes longer to kill and thus you level up less, which is the only way to increase damage
I did use Inverse mode! I went with Wicked Season, Silent Old Sanctuary, Boogaloo of Illusions and then Mad Groove. This time I was on mobile so that could be the discrepancy.
Pierce is useless? You can only get it twice and I find it to be invaluable evne with a couple thousand gold eggsf or bone zone.

New to the game, what causes him to be able to upgrade his weapon past when everything is maxed out?
It's a relic that enables limit breaking, you find it later in the game.
Limit breaking let's you upgrade weapon past their 8lv limit instead of choosing to have chicken or money.

On Inverse mode he sells Rerolls, Skips, Banishes and an Extra Arcana. His shop resets every 30 Minutes on Endless mode.

Do you have any tips for goldfarming rn?
Pick queen sigma, limit weapons to 2. Have sole solution (victory sword gift) disabled. Start with arcana XII, then XX and XV. Others are optional, personally I go with the one that increases area and the one that brings items to you. For passive items just take stone mask for gold, and everything that increases curse. The rest you can pick yourself but attract orb isn't necessary because Santa water more than strong enough unevolved. Then just stand there for the next 30 min and you'll end up with ≈2 million gold.
Also, stick with hyper, arcana, and inverse for modifiers. Speeding up the clock or choosing limit break decreases gold.
@@svahn1I already have trouser on 9k eggs, usually I use Phieraggi, Death Spiral, greatest jubilee and Vicious hunger, arcana are Wicked, Gold thingie, slash and boogaloo.
Im not sure whether I should get rid of either Phieraggi or Death Spiral because of Lag
@@leinad1110 Regardless of the character you pick, try limiting weapons to one and only picking santa water. It's strong enough to solo with 0 eggs and with the massive area from boogaloo it will kill everything before it even gets on screen with relatively little lag. Also I would recommend trying the strat once on both trousers and queen sigma. While his greed bonus is great sigma's growth can make up for it with the extra level up gold.

Oh wow you evolved so fast! How do you know when you can evolve weps? I noticed sometimes I can evolve weps before the 10 min mark, sometimes I can't even AFTER the 10 min mark. Still what a neat vid, I guess with the inverse mode the guns are less useful than normal until evolved huh? That seemed really difficult but once you evolved them... Hoo boy that was something!
Also... I had a question about your thoughts on my setup I use to have power, survivability and money generation. I use trouser and have him open the candybox with jubilee and pick wicked season as the first arcana since he has enough eggs that jubilee actually beats early enemies REALLY well and it generates torches later on which'd help him generate more money while doing good damage, I try to get the victory sword since its "evo" scales up in damage naturally the more foes I kill, pentagram since its evo will get him more levels which'll naturally help him get more greed and curse from wicked season as well as since it just ohkos foes it doesn't care how high their curse scaled up, I have clock lancet (when the stage allows me to upgrade it) since that freezes foes and does % damage so again it scales up alongside enemy's curse, the laurel when the stage allows its evo to ensure I cannot die in combination with the rest of the arcanas and also because the counter would scale up with the enemy's curse too and flames of muspah since it also scales up with enemy's curse(though I noticed it wasn't performing as well as the sword so I wanted to ask if this is worth replacing with something). I'd usually get crown and torona's box for evos and their usefulness to this build, empty tome for obvious reasons, candleabrador for more range, stone mask for more money, and duplicator (this I also would like to ask if spinach would be better). since I have 2 weapons that don't "evolve" it lets me focus most of my pre 10 min mark limit breaks into them so they won't be wasted earlier. I naturally save chests till the 10 min mark to try to evolve as many things as I can and when I get the super candy box eventually I'd make it into vicious hunger. at min 11 I'd get the gold disco as that gives me infinite healing and generates way more money which alongside shroud capping damage I can take makes me immortal and by 21 I grab the saraband of healing since... all the cash he slurps up is healing him right? So it doubles all the heals from the money and pulses out MASSIVE amounts of damage from the hp healed.
So my questions would be as such. a.) what should I replace the ashes of muspah with since it felt like it underperformed? If I got the cats in place of the flames I could potentially get the double guns upgrade you showed in the video. Would that be worth getting? b.)should I swap duplicator out with spinach and c.) is saraband of healing the best 3rd arcana for this? And is a 4th arcana even worth getting for it? If so what would be the best 4th when bought from the store? If I went with the guns I guess the speed boost arcana?
The timing of when you can find weapon evolutions varies from stage to stage.
Usually it's any chest after ten minutes but there is no such restriction on Dairy Plant, Il Molise, Cappella Magna or Boss Rash (a few stages also have really weird specific exceptions, such as the very first chest in Mad Forest). Gyorunton can also find evolutions in any chest.
Additionally, Infinite Corridor, Crimson Shroud, Sole Solution and Ashes of Muspell can only evolve if all necessary components are fully leveled.

also why not get the other red arrow thing and upgrade them both to combine them?
The red ones need lorel and the rings need lance. Also, this is a one weapon limit break to see how far it gets.
Also the second arrow increase your regeneration so it's actually useless at this point, Dex preferred to invest those 9 lvs into phierragi instead

13:18 Awake actually only gives you stats for using up revivals, so it has little synergy with Phieraggi in this regard.
Phieraggi gains 10% bonus damage per Revival
@@Fishsaus but awake gives you 3 extra revivals, this means 30% extra damage. If you use the revivals you'd get less might and even the extra amount wouldn't change anything
@@DexTag True, you would gain the bonus damage for gaining revivals with Awake, not sure if that's worth an Arcane though

The beam rotation appearing to reverse is the same shutter effect where you see rims rotating backward. The rotation speed is so fast that they're moving just before the location of the previous beam on the past frame and it looks like they're going 'backward'.
So yes, it is an optical illusion.
