I found your post on twitter and I just wanna say this was an amazing video. And hopefully the next console has a menu with similar charm as the old ones 🙏
Hey!! Great first vid blown away with how professional and inviting it felt for a debut throughout the whole runtime really excited for future vidoes. By chance do you have a list for each of the songs used? The one you played during the Wii U menu portion had me floating
I just added the music to the description! Thanks for reminding me a forgot lmao. The two Wii U tracks I used was the Transfer Menu theme and the Notifications menu themes from the Wii U. Thanks for watching!
Since its launch, I’ve deeply disliked the Switch UI. It’s barren, unimaginative, and feels wholly “Un-Nintendo”. The only thing the Switch has going for it is games. If you take away the games, the Switch is absolutely nothing-unlike that of consoles such as the 3DS and Wii. They were *experiences* even if you weren’t playing a game. I could boot up my Wii, check the weather, read the news, order a damn _pizza_ if I wanted to. With the Switch? There is simply nothing. No system-based experiences. It is solely software based. Sure, the Switch’s sales are incredibly high-but I still feel that, in my own heart, the Switch is the least interesting and least memorable console of them all.
Really really love this video. Just want to point out, watch the balance between background music and your voice, i had a hard time hearing over the music sometimes ❤ Edit: shiiiiii this is your FIRST VIDEO?
I definitely agree about the 3DS having the best UI, but I'd argue it's rhe best UI on ANY device. A few things I'll note though, Ninrendo Switch's UI is a technical marvel, it's a HD UI using just 0.5MB of assets, incredible work. 3DS' UI works best on New 3DS models which make it way snappier. 3DS' UI is descended in codebase and design from DSi, while Nintendo Switch UI's code and design is itself based on 3DS, and 3DS System Software can run on a modified Nintendo Switch without emulation due to their architectural and software similarities. Finally, customising 3DS' UI cost real money wirh icons and shortcuts costing real money IN A GACHA GAME. That was a neat idea but unforgivable in practice. OH, and how could I forget! How could YOU forget? Wii U Quick Start Menu! If you turn on your Wii U GamePad before you turn on your console, you can see your latest 10 applications (...and an ad banner), and when you select one, the console starts up straight into that game, bypassing the Wii U Menu! It's also snappy and small, in a way it's akin to what we got on Switch. Ah, but I'm not done yet. Switch 2 will use the same UI verbatim. Come on. We all know it. We're stuck with this 😊
you do make some good point but I rather get into and outta game fast and the big icons is good for people with bad eye sight when I don't feel like wearing my glasses
Hey cozmiz I think you wii u has a problem because me and my friend he used his switch and to get to the same spot in the ui my wii u was a reasonable 3 seconds behind.
G4tor summoned me as well, can't wait to see what other content you come up with!
G4tor summoned me, based video!
I wish his channel was back, I miss his content.
g4tor forcibly fed me this video (i really loved it please make more omgomgomgomg)

Well you certainly know how to make a first impression. Good stuff my dude, looking forward to seeing more stuff from ya.
the reason nintendo used floppy discs for the n64dd instead of regular discs is because floppy discs were much more rewritable than normal discs ^_^
i really love your mii pfp
Don't tell anyone I used to draw Undertale fanart in the 3DS notes...
That sure was a time. I really loved the 3DS notes.
5:11 You launched Wii Sports + Wii Sports Resort and went straight to Wii Sports Resort without choosing the option
editing moment
Cool vid, gonna sub
The Gamecube Home Menu looks like a Super Mario Galaxy stage
It's a Mii!
Mario
Great video! I’d recommend tweaking the audio levels for future videos though, the music was too loud for a good portion of it.
What an awesome video!
would you ever make a video on nintendo system music from different systems?
