The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 118238 features a 36mm 18k yellow gold case with fluted bezel surrounding a silver dial on an 18k yellow gold President bracelet with folding buckle. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, day and date. The watch also measures 12.3mm in thickness and 43.2mm from lug-to-lug.

I have almost the exact same Rolex day date but my dial doesn't have the Roman numerals outboard. Does anyone know why? is it a different model?

Very nice. This is the only watch I would consider getting with the optional diamond indices. I saw one with such indices in an AD and it looked much nicer than I was expecting and really not all that gaudy either. I can’t actually afford one of these, but one can dream...
