    cut a 3/4 plywood section that is big enought to cover past the rot. traceit, cut it, sonocrafter helps. press it in using PL liquid nails around the edges. get sheet of 3/16 aluminum and tek screw it all together. drill new bolts holes for the bracket, etc...

    Necessity, the mother of invention/innovation. Campers are always needing repairs of some type. Learning to adapt and overcome seems to be just a part of it.

    I just watched your
    March 1 video ((concrete blocks have no strength the way you are using them. They will collapse))
    ((Always place the blocks with the holes vertically )) place a piece of plywood wood under the blocks and at least 2 pieces of 3/4 plywood on top for the jack to sit on.
    I always have 12 pieces of 3/4 plywood cut to 18”x12” they have come in handy for leveling and also soft ground or sand situations. They also come in handy when you have to jack the vehicle up on soft ground . please be safe We love your videos

    Oh my Lovelies, I'm rooting for you so hard, and I think I've managed to take that black cloud away and park it over my head, so Enjoy Florida!!! The repairs look,...they look, uhm, well they look not good, but that means they aren't not bad either and paint and caulk are 90% of any fix anyway!!! So long as they have passed the patented "Chris Tug Test" I feel confident that everything will perform as it did from the factory, or even better!!! As for the haircut, while I don't mind the Skullet I think if you're going to go that far why not just do the Transverse Mohawk so that the Mohawk goes ear to ear instead of front to back. Now THAT would be stylish, possibly even trendsetting!! Things are okay here, still snow on the ground, my butt still hurts other than that pretty normal. Talk to you soon and Love to you Both and Mona!! - Dave

    Ps- if worse comes to worse, maybe get an old fashioned 40 hr a week job, save up some $$$ again, and do weekend trips in the interim (similar to another popular vlogger with an increasing following) and pretty confident your channel will continue to grow over time. My family likes the way you have gone to less popular areas and enlightened us to the history of those locations (like in TN and visit to the cemetery while providing information regarding the use of imminent domain of the properties that were there so they could build the dam so it could be useful for much needed energy during WW2 and how corporations such as ALCOA benefited in the name of war time freedom fighting, and how our national history is so complex and needing to learn from history or risk repeating it, and how it might impact people just living day to day and how fragile home and property ownership and just this one life we get maybe and to make the best of it by our choices which has an impact on the rest of the world to by our levels and types of consumption of what are very limited natural resources…

    • @CandEAdventures
      @CandEAdventures  Рік тому +2

      We have been doing this channel working full time jobs for over 4 years. The video you mentioned took a week of research and 20+ hours of editing a day to prep and a day to film. We made 0$ on UA-cam and 60$ on patreon that month between 4 videos. That’s not sustainable. Our video performance is not improving at all in over 4 years. We have never had a video “hit the algorithm “ . I don’t know what channel your mentioning but I guarantee they have a faster growth rate than us and have had more videos “hit the algorithm” than we have. We have some dedicated viewers but not enough to sustain this channel. There is not another channel out there who has put out consistent videos like us who had such small views that kept going. We are entering the sunk cost fallacy territory. We would love to do this full time . But we are like a restaurant. You can’t run an unprofitable restaurant that no one eats at for 4 years working another job to sustain it . Fingers crossed we hit the algorithm!!!! Soon 🤣🙏🤞🤞

    What actual brand is your diesel heater?? Espar?? Wow that 8mm lag screw trick was super cool, I can not begin to convey what a pia the screen in an espar heater is without that trick, definitely will try that next time I go into mine. I just added a separate fuel tank for my espar, because it does NOT like bio-diesel even a little bit, mine runs on kerosene exclusively now.
