  • Welcome to our channel! We are Sara and Luca, Italian couple and travel storytellers!
    Are you ready to travel with us?
    "Leave everything and wander” is the result of Sara Bertagnolli’s and Luca Sguazzini’s desire to join their own skills and realise a dream: that of traveling, leaving the certainties and securities of everyday life behind.
    After university Sara achieved high-level professional goals in the field of management and became the personal assistant to the fashion designer Philipp Plein.
    Luca has been traveling a lot since he was a child and the last year he gained notoriety for his participation in the Italian version of “Dancing with the stars”; he has more than 138k followers on Instagram and 50k on Facebook.
    They have decided to join forces and to tell a life out of the ordinary on social networks. The plan is to travel through Canada, Alaska and, in a second moment, United States, Messico and South America and to share the trip’s photos and videos on UA-cam, Facebook and Instagram, giving to everyone the possibility to experience the “wander-spirit”.
    Traveling without temporal or spatial limits will give Sara and Luca the possibility to entangle their story with that of people they will meet on the road and to discover new cultures, visiting also the places which are not famous, the ones which often have the biggest surprises in store.
    The start-up budget will be limited in order to demonstrate that - also without great economical resources - everything is possible if you put the work in and involve as many people as possible.

    THANK YOU!! There are a LOT of rebuild videos for over cab bed and it is very time consuming to watch as many videos as you need to get all the information to DIY, but you guys managed to squeeze an entire rebuild in less than 7 minutes AND included enough pertinent information to give people a good idea of what to do! Thank you for appreciating our time!

    Did I miss you put insulation in the floor? If not, your going to be cold if you are camping in any sort of mild colder temps at some point. Insulation is important for keeping the camper comfortable duri g not only cooler but also warmer weather…

    Did you get a new mattress? We had this same problem. We bought a new mattress as the old one had mold on the bottom and I'm sure it was making us sick. It started to smell really bad. We bought a new one that folds into 3 sections like a futon. So once a week we fold it up and make sure the condensation can evaporate. We also added a new insulation layer and a Dry Fast mat.

    • @leaw
      @leaw  5 років тому +2

      Hi Chantal, no we haven't changed our mattress because it is still good. We changed the cover. Yes, we added some new insulation layers as well.
      In this video, we change the cover and we reduce the mattress form king size to queen size: ua-cam.com/video/L1RaY_oIfOw/v-deo.html
      In this video, we renovate the camper and rebuild the front part: ua-cam.com/video/bik2pJpyJUo/v-deo.html
      Second part: ua-cam.com/video/arzp5Ptf_MM/v-deo.html
      In this video, we paint all the outside of the camper: ua-cam.com/video/RbOP5zvccp8/v-deo.html

    Great job guys we are impressed :) !! The water leaking was just terrible ... but where it comes from ? Roof ?

    • @leaw
      @leaw  6 років тому +5

      GO-YOLO I think is because of the condensation! Old campers have problems of this kind!

    • @doctorplastic
      @doctorplastic 6 років тому +7

      There usually is not enough condensation to puddle. You have a leak. Most leaks on trailers/campers like this come from windows or the seams/edges where the two exterior aluminum panels connect. I wouldn't want all of your hard work and money to go to waste. I would highly recommend finding the leak and properly repairing it.

    • @leaw

I do have already a Truck Camper which I changed into my Moblietreatment room. I hope soon to travel a little and bring Hypnosis or so to does who need it. But I would love for my son to travel. I hope that he will watch you and get inspiration from your amazing craziness. You 2 are just cool.

    I got a camper very similar to yours, but the floor under the mattress is really good, but the wood underneath is rotting. It can be repaired from the outside by removing the aluminum exterior. You are in Vancouver area. come and stay at my place out in country side and repair my camper ,you look like you do good work. I have lots of tools, and space to work, and you can work on your projects too.

    • @leaw

      videoclipits hey, nice! If we were still in Canada we would come and help you out! Unfortunately we already are in California USA. We hope you will be able to fix it soon. After we repaired our camper, we never had any leaking problems again. We insulated also all the over-cab bed area, you can check out Vlog #064 and at Vlog #065. Cheers Luca & Sara

    Looks so different then compared to now. Yup look everywhere! 😳😳😳😳Wish you had of worn a mask around all that insulation and mold! I think you should have put the moisture barrier on top of the layer of insulation then the plywood. Similar to when you put insulation in the walls of a house?

;) Luca & sara
