Hello MovieFlame. I am an 18-year-old boy who very recently(1 month ago), started to immerse into Harry Potter, and I've just finished watching the movies for the first time. Likewise, I've never actually read the books. When I started checking HP content, I discovered your channel and found something that is making me extremely tempted to read the books. When I watched the movies, Ron Weasley was my least favourite character out of the trio, because I considered him to be incompetent, weirdly funny, cruel, and selectively selfish as he only cared about his family but not his friends. @@MovieFlame The only reason I say it is because, Dudley is around a month older than Harry and Petunia is not much older than Lily, (judging by Severus's pensieve flashback sequence. I only say this as I was wondering whether you were doing another video based on predicted relationship durations, for those not set in stone so to speak.
After years of watching these videos I finally found the time to read all the books. I am so glad that I did. I rarely read fiction but I really got into the books. it only took me a month and a half to read all 7. Not because I was pushing through them but I got into a reading groove.
"They were crazy about eachother" ... I mean... Yes 😂 Molly and Arthur have seven kids and considering how much they love eachother, it's kinda surprising there are only 7 😂
This video reinforced my identification on the aromantic spectrum, seeing how hugely more interested I was in the timeline and ranking than the story of the relationships themselves 😆
Thing I didn't like about Ginny immediately shutting Cho down in the Deathly Hallows, was how she handled it in a kind of possessive way. I doubt Cho had ulterior motives in being alone with Harry. In fact, I do believe she wanted to apologize to Harry in private on how things ended between them. I just felt as though Ginny was being a bit immature in that scene
@@Anna_malfoy462 that's not the point. She's (Ginny) is dating Harry. No one else shut down Cho in that chapter, only her. And it was almost like a nanosecond when Cho offered to help Harry look for the Diadem of Ravenclaw. And don't say she was jealous. What's to be jealous of Cho? Harry and Cho knew that they weren't compatible anymore and Harry moved on with Ginny.
@@rinuchiha6961Harry and cho knew, but did Ginny know? Harry never expanded on how his past relationship with cho went (At least from what i remember.) All Ginny knows is that Cho wanted to be alone with her boyfriend. And every romance show watching teen would know that that is a bad thing.
I still remember in the audio books after the battle at the Astronomy Tower when Fleur showed that she still loved him, and that She was pretty enough for the both of them. Jim Dale did a great job reading all of the books. Have you thought about an interview with him?
With how much the Weasleys(Specifically, Ron, Ginny, and Molly) get flanderized to hell and back in fanfic, it's nice to hear support for Arthur/Molly and Ginny/Harry in these comments. Also, I never realized Arthur and Molly outlasted my parents until listening to this video(My parents were maried just a few days shy of 43 years and 2 months when my mother died of a Heart attack at the age of 60...though, to add to the tragedy, she died the day before my father's 67th birthday... they were the only couple among my known family whose marriage didn't end in divorce... and actually, I think their marriage might have been longer than all the other marriages among my known family combined... Also, when you said you would list the couples you couldn't pin down a time line for, all I heard was silence.
Honestly I love Molly and Arthur the most, something about the laidback (most of the time) chill dude with the girlboss wife makes me genuinely happy and seeing them have Harry as another son was quite wholesome to me

@@Missy_394 I think he would've said "Professor, with all due respect, with all my near-Death experiences fighting Voldermort, my magical experience is equivalent to most teachers. So Do I really need more school?"
It's interesting how some couples in Harry Potter have seem to have started dating around the month of December in the 90's. I'm starting to think that JK Rowling was up to something whenever she brings up that time of month in the books. Wonder if December is her favorite time of a month or if it is just concoindences that reoccur throughout the books.
Teddy isn't like Harry at all though, since despite Teddy losing his parents (Which is a parallel to Harry), he still was loved by his grandmother, but also Harry and the Weasleys. Teddy was loved all around.
The first place could go to Nicolas Flamel and his wife Perenelle since they lived together over 600 years. But yeah, we don't know exact dates and they don't really fit into the rules.

Harry and ginny are just love. They deserved way more page time than they had not to mention way more love from potterheads who just loveeee to shit on ginny being "a fangirl" and those stupid love potion theories
The books do a good job of showing their sense of humor is the same and they both understand what it’s like to have voldy in your head. Both talented at quidditch and they could hang out without anyone else. Harry and Hermione never could enjoy time together without Ron. It wasn’t the same

@@poppletop8331 They were together long before Dudley's conception. There are stories in further lore where Petunia and Vernon interact with James and Lily before either had kids, and even to do with Lily's wedding, meaning they were together years before Dudley came around. Trust me, i've done my research and there's no way to figure out an exact start time to their relationship
@@MovieFlame The only reason I say it is because, Dudley is around a month older than Harry and Petunia is not much older than Lily, (judging by Severus's pensieve flashback sequence. I would say a couple of years older)
At most Petunia would have been married around the same time or a year or two at most before Lily.
I only say this as I was wondering whether you were doing another video based on predicted relationship durations, for those not set in stone so to speak.
Great to see another video from you Morgan, I had a bad day and seeing your new upload notification made me feel better!
yeah same here. I was a crappy day till I watched this vid

After years of watching these videos I finally found the time to read all the books. I am so glad that I did. I rarely read fiction but I really got into the books. it only took me a month and a half to read all 7. Not because I was pushing through them but I got into a reading groove.
"They were crazy about eachother" ... I mean... Yes 😂 Molly and Arthur have seven kids and considering how much they love eachother, it's kinda surprising there are only 7 😂
I mean, protection exists 🤨 abortus also exists
Whyyyyy would you say this. You can think whatever you want but keep your mouth shut pleaseeeee
As i recall correctly, Molly was sad only having sons, so when the seventh turned out to be a daughter, she was done.
How long was Voldemort knocking boots with the back of Quirinus Quirrell's head? That's a relationship of sorts. 😂
Molly and Arthur Weasley are the ideal couple and parents.
My mom: talks about the govee lights a week before this was posted
Movie flame: gets a sponsor from the company 😅😅
Ps I love this video
This video reinforced my identification on the aromantic spectrum, seeing how hugely more interested I was in the timeline and ranking than the story of the relationships themselves 😆
Thing I didn't like about Ginny immediately shutting Cho down in the Deathly Hallows, was how she handled it in a kind of possessive way. I doubt Cho had ulterior motives in being alone with Harry.
In fact, I do believe she wanted to apologize to Harry in private on how things ended between them. I just felt as though Ginny was being a bit immature in that scene
she was just a jealous teenager like most 16 year olds so it isn't weird that she was a bit immature
really i thing every one of them acted jealous about each other in one way or other you just noticed that in her
Yeah, I agree.
Harry never expanded on how his past relationship with cho went (At least from what i remember.)
All Ginny knows is that Cho wanted to be alone with her boyfriend. And every romance show watching teen would know that that is a bad thing.
Morgan Ross, my favorite Potterologist, thanks for the video.
I read it as poltergeist
@þðæ it fits the Potter theme.
Thanks for making. Always fun to watch more lore of Harry Potter.
I still remember in the audio books after the battle at the Astronomy Tower when Fleur showed that she still loved him, and that She was pretty enough for the both of them. Jim Dale did a great job reading all of the books. Have you thought about an interview with him?
I must say I really enjoyed this video, thanks !
OMG I LOVE YOUR GLASSES! You are so handsome. Cute vest, looks so cozy❤
It’s funny how the 3 main characters are have the shortest relationships
Because we have no information on the short relationships of the other characters
Tonks and Remus have a special place in my heart ❤️ they both deserved so much more.
Wow I've never been this early before! Thanks fornyournhard work on these videos ❤
24:46 “Bill started giving Fleur private lessons… and I think we all know what that really means.”
I love the face you made 🤣🤣
I love your glasses!
Love your voice, so soothing.
Honestly I love Molly and Arthur the most, something about the laidback (most of the time) chill dude with the girlboss wife makes me genuinely happy and seeing them have Harry as another son was quite wholesome to me
It should be pointed out that Katie who played Cho grew up in Scotland and that Scottish accent she had is how she really talks.
These videos make my day
Thanks so much for noticing my comment it means a lot to be noticed by someone so amazing.
When Mcgonigal offered Ron the chance to come back to Hogwarts
Ron was like "Professor, with all due respect, I nearly died in the BOH. Let me live my life"
Honestly. I wonder what Harry might have said 🤣
@@Missy_394 I think he would've said
"Professor, with all due respect, with all my near-Death experiences fighting Voldermort, my magical experience is equivalent to most teachers. So Do I really need more school?"
@reabilwe-wq1uy Real.
“Vot, is the point of being an international Quidditch player if all the good looking girls are taken” -Victor Krum, Deathly Hallows, page 150

I think it would make a great video if you went over your favorite chapter from every book and/or favorite moment from every movie
Hi Morgan. Could you do an episode on Squibs. Feel that they are really underrepresented.
I really wish Teddy had parents😭 it’s so sad to see him like Harry😭
Teddy isn't like Harry at all though, since despite Teddy losing his parents (Which is a parallel to Harry), he still was loved by his grandmother, but also Harry and the Weasleys. Teddy was loved all around.
The first place could go to Nicolas Flamel and his wife Perenelle since they lived together over 600 years. But yeah, we don't know exact dates and they don't really fit into the rules.
Yes we do, marriage date mentioned when they read his biography, death was end the end of philosophers stone.
@@janedoe4471They had Elixir of Life stored away. They didn’t die the instant the Philosophers Stone was destroyed. It was only known that they would have died ‘shortly after’ which is extremely vague and could have been anything from a few days to several years later. Not specific enough to be included.
The fact that couple of relationships ended by the death of one of them is extremely sad .
I'm a huge Harry and Ginny fan, and I love how Molly and Arthur were always together after so much had happened
I’d love to see some more unscripted ranking videos, they’re always a fun watch! Love your videos Morgan
Harry and ginny are just love. They deserved way more page time than they had not to mention way more love from potterheads who just loveeee to shit on ginny being "a fangirl" and those stupid love potion theories
This is exactly what I’ve been saying 😭
The books do a good job of showing their sense of humor is the same and they both understand what it’s like to have voldy in your head. Both talented at quidditch and they could hang out without anyone else. Harry and Hermione never could enjoy time together without Ron. It wasn’t the same
Amazing video....❤❤❤ and molly and aurther rocks 😊
2:06 phew. for a second i thought kendra and percival were albus’ siblings😅
This is a great video!! The only thing you wont know is how long they stayed together (the longer couples) after the franchise.
I love your vidoes!
At 22:25 it says that under the influence of Felix Felicis Harry ‘bummed Ginny under the invisibility cloak’. These captions are crazy
24:47 excuse me while I go fall in a ditch
Hi Morgan, really like your deep dive into lore. Just wanted to point out a cultural correction @11:45, here in the UK most school years end mid-July, with only a 6-week summer break, before the new year starts in September.
Read the pinned comment my dude. Hogwarts ends in June. That's always been the case in the books. I did not get that wrong
@@MovieFlame My mistake. I think in my mind, when I read the books as a child, I always thought Hogwarts school year ended same as any normal school.
@@MovieFlame May you please do what everybody will see once they drink the potion in Voldemort’s horcrux cave? I love your videos and o think that you could make that video in the best way possible!
‘Lavender developed a crush on Ron ’
You mean obsession
A crush that turned into an obsession.
Obviously all of the couples that are still active at the end of the seventh book continued after that but I understand why he didn’t count after the last book
How did Harry and Cho even lasted three months when they were on only ONE date? 😂 I thought it was much shorter, like, is it even a relationship if they didn't see each other except when they must and kissed only ONCE????
"'Til death do you part" is almost a threat, considering the average lifespan in the wizarding world is like 135 years. 😂
I think Narcissa and Lucius deserve a mention because they were together for a very long time, almost as Arthur and Molly. They were both strong headed, ambitious and supportive of each other despite being in the wrong side.
They were in the list of couples at the beginning that don’t count because we don’t have enough info on when they got together
loved this video
Dang Ginny be pulling all the boys 😂
