    Lovely video! I almost never comment on videos, but I would like to say how refreshing it was to see some of your suggestions! A new one for me is the Water WOW, I just ordered it as I was watching! So awesome! An oldie but a goodie that I already have that you mentioned was the toddler harness, but I have the arm version (Amazon Canada) not the backpack version. I love it! I have subscribed, thank you!

    Oh, it is tiring but still fulfilling. Happy to know more toddler travel gears from your Vlog! And thought I'd recommend a good travel carry-on bag you can consider on your future travels. It's the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane.

      Thanks for watching! 😊When we traveled with small babies (2 months old, etc.), I found that feeding them (bottle or breastfeeding) helped them go to sleep and also helped their ears with the altitude pressure. Thankfully, this age does not want to walk all around the plane yet. haha. 😉I hope you have a wonderful flight!

    Thank you for the tip. How do you go to restroom in airplane when you have a long flight with the 2 toddler.

    • @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome
      @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome  Рік тому +2

      Hi! That is a good question! I usually travel with my husband, so I leave my two toddlers with him. But when I have both boys by myself, I take my toddlers with me to the bathroom. It's not the best, but sometimes "you have to do what you have to do." 😬

    Thanks so much for this tips it really help but pls I have a question. I am traveling with my twins of 1year and 10 month and I book a sit for one and there said I will carry one.how can I get dat stroller and what am I going to be experiencing on d plane

    • @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome
      @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome  Рік тому

      How fun that you have twins! :)
      A lot depends on your travel route and the airline itself, as well as the length of time you will be traveling. I would recommend paying attention to things your twins enjoy before the trip. What entertains them? Try to include as many of those activities/things in your "plan" as possible.
      Having one child in a seat can be tricky, especially if he/she is able to walk. I recommend that you plan to take a car seat for this child so that he/she can safely stay in the seat. The airplane seatbelts are too easy for small children to get out of.
      If you live in the USA, you can get the stroller from Target (where we got ours), Amazon.com, or eBay.com. If you live outside the USA, you might be able to find a similar stroller on eBay.com or in a local store. Sorry, I don't know from your message where you live and what is available in your area. Is there a Facebook mom group in your area? It might be helpful to ask about strollers in that group.
      I hope this was helpful! All the best for your trip!

    Hi there! Thanks for all the tips! Do you happen to know if flight attendants can help out by watching a sleeping baby if you need to use the bathroom?

    • @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome
      @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome  5 місяців тому

      Hi! That is a great question! I have never asked a flight attendant to do this, but my guess is that they would be willing to do so--if they don't have pressing responsibilities at the time. However, I'm not exactly sure about child safety protocol for flight attendants. Hope you have a great trip!

    Thanks for the video so many useful tips. Can you please let me know if I don’t purchase a separate ticket for my baby (who will be 9-10 months old by the time of the flight) where can I put his convertible car seat? I requested for a bassinet but its not a for sure thing and I doubt that he might exceed the weight limit for bassinet :( Wondering if it’s worth it to bring the car seat. Thanks a lot!!

    • @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome
      @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome  Рік тому +2

      Hi, Mina! That's a very good question. For infants under 2 years old, you don't have to buy a ticket. However, that means that they don't get a seat for themselves. If you want to use a car seat on an airplane, you have to buy a ticket for your child. It's sad, but that's the way the airlines work.😔You can check the car seat at the gate, before you board the airplane. Then the attendants will put the car seat under the airplane, in the baggage hold.
      I'm glad you already requested the bassinet. That is a good idea! When you check in for your flight, ask again, to ensure that the attendants know you want to use a bassinet for your baby. When I don't get a bassinet, I like to use a nursing cover or baby carrier to help "strap" my baby to me so that he can rest peacefully. Some airlines also give infant seatbelts.
      I hope this helps! Safe travels!

    What do you recommend to pack for a 2 year old for 3 weeks ? It’s going to be a little cold but I don’t want to overpack. We want to take one suitcase and one carry on plus the diaper bag . We are taking stroller , car seats and oxygen concentrator for her please help me !

    • @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome
      @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome  Рік тому

      Hi! I'm sorry that I'm just seeing this message now. If your trip is still ahead of you, then I recommend packing plenty of snacks and small activity books/toys to keep your child entertained. Because I don't know your destination, I can't speak to what you should pack for your 3-week stay. Perhaps you can find a Facebook mom group or connect with friends who have traveled to your destination or live there. I find these types of friends and groups to be the most helpful. ;)
      Because your luggage space is limited, you might want to take laundry detergent strips. These are easier to pack than powder or liquid, and they dissolve in water. We packed some and used them during an international quarantine (oh, the fun of traveling during COVID times!), and this helped us be able to cut down on the number of clothes we had to pack for those days.
      I have never had an issue with oxygen on planes for my children. However, if you would like to set your mind at rest, you might consider seeing a pediatrician before your airplane trip, especially if your child has asthma/a breathing issue.
      All the best for your trip!

    Did you take graco 2.0 to tge plane? I have a 3 month old and a toddler. I want to travel internationally so i want to know if it can go to the plane. I have bought it last year.

    • @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome
      @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome  5 місяців тому

      Great question! Yes, we did. We were able to take the stroller with us up to the door to the plane, where we handed it off (in our protective bag -- see video description for one that is the right size for this stroller). I'm guessing that some airlines might be picky (there are always some, right?), so I can't guarantee that the stroller will be allowed up to boarding every time. But it has always been allowed for us. I hope everything goes well for you on your trip! Bon voyage!

    How do you prepare baby food for travel?

    • @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome
      @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome  2 місяці тому

      For babies just learning how to eat (7 months to 1 1/2 years old), we usually pack fruit pouches, freeze-dried yogurt, baby granola bars, etc. For older "babies," we just select food from the airplane meals (mostly using the vegetables, meat, pasta, and bread rolls😂). Hope that helps!

    What baby food is allowed on planes?

    • @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome
      @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome  2 місяці тому

      All baby food is usually allowed on planes as long as it is in a sealed jar/pouch *or* clearly not a liquid (Cheerios, etc.). I definitely recommend using pouches rather than glass jars for baby food purees, and making sure that they are below the liquid allowance.

    What food can a one year old take on a plane?

    • @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome
      @MyHomeYourHomeOurHome  2 місяці тому

      Any one-year-old baby food should be fine. But it's easiest to take dry food (Cheerios, gummies, dried yogurt, granola bars, etc.). We usually pack fruit pouches (fruit puree inside a plastic pouch with a cap), and my sons love these!
