- Watch as I install a 50 in light bar on my 1994 Jeep YJ Wrangler. This video covers complete installation, wire routing, and light bar review and demonstration of its brightness.

I thought this video may help some folks trying to decide on a light bar. Please let me know your thoughts, and perhaps if you have found a better one. Thanks for watching!
Just bought a YJ. Very helpful thank you.
Congrats! They are lots of fun. I sold the green YJ in this video and after a month of missing it, I bought another. Both 94's. I plan on posting lots more info as I complete each project. I wish I would have started recording sooner. There were so many great projects on the green YJ before I decided to document them to share with others.
I see it's been a couple of months since your install of the light bar. What do you think about them now? Thanks in advance for your response, and thanks too for doing the video in the first place. I have a 95 YJ and in the market for a light bar, and will probably buy the same setup you have if there hasn't been any issues surface since your install.
Hi Mike, I just added a short update vid to the Channel. Still doing good.

Great video, hows the wind noise now? I heard people say adding a light bar creates a substantial amount of wind noise. Thanks in advance
Thank you for watching. It has a slight whistle, but it’s not bad. The other “Jeep noises” are far louder. I usually have the tunes cranked anyway.
Can you please provide a link to all the parts specifically the side windshield bracket. Thank you!
I looked to find the same parts for my new jeep and the names have changed - as these Chinese manufactures tend to do often. I couldn't be sure if they were the same parts I ordered before.
Did you have any trouble at all removing those old torx bolts from the windshield bracket?
I was pretty lucky. I didn't have much issue. To prep, I made sure I cleaned the paint out of the bolts so the torx bit was completely bottomed out. I even gave it a tap or two with a hammer to make sure it was all the way in there. I used a 2 ft breaker bar and they broke loose.
what kind of brackets are those and is that a straight bar or a curve one ? nice video
Hi Roberto. Thank you for watching. This is a straight bar. The brackets came with the three lights in a kit from eBay. I was surprised they were so heavy duty. The brand is epistar. $106 for the whole kit.
nice, I'm building my TJ so I'm looking for the right one. so many options out there, but, I like yours its look nice and I like that it has the options for the side lights..
The brackets are great. The lights are very bright. They’ve only been installed for a couple of weeks, so time will tell if they last.
@@gabrielnicolas824 good luck with your build!
@@kdsgarage8475 i ordered the light bar brackets (ebay) thanks again for the tip.. next week I'm starting cleaning up the frame hope everything goes fine..
do you have two jeeps or did you paint this one silver?
Hi Colby, these are different jeeps, however they are both 94’s with the 4.0 inline 6 cylinders.
@@kdsgarage8475 do you still own both?
What bracket is that I can’t find them for my YJ
This is the one I purchased. It says no longer available, but you may be able to find it from other sellers. www.ebay.com/itm/284031783104
@@kdsgarage8475 Do you have an update link for this bracket?
What lift is that?
This YJ has a 2.5 RC spring lift, 2 inch body lift, and 1.25in shackle lift.
