Also more pertinently I feel it drives Mike to uncover the good samaritan that Hector killed in the desert in the next episode or whenever it is.
Mickey is right: the reason Mike changed his mind about doing the job is that Anita's husband's disappearance reminded him of that pedestrian's disappearance and the kind of harm that could cause a family, not really knowing what happened to your loved one after they disappeared. he realized that Hector needed to go once and for all and if it was going to be done, he's the only one that could ensure it's done right. that's why he was asking coaching Nacho on making sure he switched the pills, etc...
also, Anita is played by Tamara Tunie who was M.E. Warner on Law and Order SVU.
the_nikster also the possibility of Pryce disappearing like that and Mike living with the fact that he knew what could happen and not being there to prevent it.
Bruhhh I totally forgot that Mike decided to get back in the game after Anita's story. That makes his own death even more tragic

It’s not that Jimmy’s holding onto his pride or trying to save face. I think he wants to keep the office open because that’s what he attributes his relationship with Kim to. He worked so hard to get her to agree with working in the same space with him and if that disintegrated he’s afraid she would too. To him, the office symbolizes how far they had come in terms of their relationship as well as their careers.

Rana is right. Jimmy is a solo lawyer, so his insurance rate spike is solely on him. Chuck is part owner of HHM. The price spike affects ALL the company’s lawyers.

The Twins are the kind of guys that would be really passive aggressive and condescending to waiters.
Jimmy sticking it to Chuck at the end was because he blames Chuck for his current bad circumstances. He still has resentment for Chuck over how Chuck treated him.
Mike's talk with Anita made him think about how Hector killed that good samaritan who helped his driver. He just went missing so no one knows what happened to him. That made Mike mad so he decided to help Nacho hurt Hector because he hates Hector.
When your actual job is something someone else would prefer jail time over, feels bad.

You guys need to watch the Pollos Hermanos employee training videos. There's 10 of them, each 2 min or less, and they're great.
I think Jimmy wanted to scam that guy in the restaurant for two reasons: one, he needs the money but two, his life had been falling apart (as he later states to the insurance woman) and the only thing that he’s been good at and makes him feel good was scamming people. But Kim knocked him back to reality so it was this tension he was holding onto. And when he went to talk with the insurance people, I don’t think he had any intention of throwing Chuck under the bus until he heard about the premium increase. Then he basically snapped and gave up all the info about Chuck to release that tension he had since he couldn’t scam that restaurant patron.
I just realized that Saul flooded his car with his keys just like Jesse did on the RV in Breaking Bad and Walt had to make batteries to jumpstart it.
A flooded engine and a dead battery are 2 completely different things.

As somebody that's done both jail and community service, community service - especially picking up trash on the side of the road - is nasty af.
BTW you can’t just do 6 days x 10 hours of community service. You get what you get when they tell you to show up. They drag it out on purpose. At least in Texas. I had 40 hours and was on the bus every Saturday morning for 6 weeks trying to get the shit done. And if it rains you sit on the bus and get no time earned. It sucks.
Why can't they just take you home? lol That seems so extra that you have to sit on the bus but I guess you have to attempt to wait it out
GoliathWarfare Tell me about it. We waited 2 hours on a hot bus in the summer before they took us back. I was the only girl on the bus. The officer let me sit up front behind him because they all started cat calling me and pressing me to come sit on their laps and shit like that. They all called me “short timer” because I only had 40 hours for a misdemeanor. (I had zig zags in my purse and a roach in my car ashtray) They all had like 300 hundred hours or more for serious charges. They never put me on that bus again. And I’ve never had weed in my car again. It’s stupid and eventually you will get pulled over. Life lessons, kids.

I recommend the series See performed by Jason Momoa. a series of 8 episodes (1 season) about a dystopian future where people are born blind and live in tribes, the protagonist has to protect his adopted children who they can see and for that reason they are feared and persecuted.

My community service when I was arrested was taking care of cats. This lady had an out building of cats that would never be adopted, they were not good at using the available litter. Mopped the floor and put down cans of food. They were all assholes and I've missed it every day since.

Marcos SF Filho Peter Gould has more of a hand in BCS than Vince. People should finally give him the credit he deserves. Especially in seasons 4&5 he is basically the prime showrunner, Vince is way more hands off.

lol. did you even watch or you're not paying attention at all? jimmy was in davis and main and his brother still fucks with him. it's already shown that chuck has irrational hate for him when jimmy all ever did was care for him.
There's absolutely nothing funny about Nacho walking out the patio door. Nacho disconnected the alarm system and then picked the lock to open the patio door. Why would he then lock the patio door? He simply left the same way that he came in. Nothing funny about that.
I love Better Call Saul maybe even more than Breaking Bad, but this was a filler episode if I ever seen one.
This episode sets up Mike's motivations for going deeper into the game (guilt, as usual), sets up scenes with Jimmy and Kim that will pay off in Season 5 and most importantly, the insurance scam Jimmy pulls in the end is kinda vital to the plot of Season 3 and 4.
@@weewer3369 i get that, but after finish season 5 cant help myself an wonder why they been jerking us around for FIVE SEASONS just to cover 2 years of time. From spring 2002 to spring 2004. Saul meet Walt in late 2008. They are gonna cover 4 and a half years and finish the Gene arc in 1 season, and then you go back and see episodes like this man. Are they planning to slap us with a time jump like The Walking Dead in season 9? This "saul goodman productions" is just a waste of time.

Doesn’t bother me because the rest of the white guys are people like Saul, mike, Kim, chuck, and the film crew and whoever. It’s just one character who is nerdy. On black shows where they have only one white guy and he’s nerdy or lame or low key racist for no reason. Then it bothers me. But also I’m that character is always nerdy like in the office.
