- Bagman is probably the best episode of this entire series to date! Would you drink your own ....??? Jimmy has to consider it while he's stuck in the desert with Mike in Season 5 Episode 8 of Better Call Saul! The Normies discussion and review follows the reaction!

Watching Jimmy use his water to clean his shoes on a rewatch never stops hurting
And I feel my niece in my shoes every time I clap the horse legs.
I watched this for the first time last night and as soon as I saw him pour water on his shoes I knew he’d be stuck without water in the desert lol
Never even noticed that
Lol oh yeah
@@PJWB Yeah same.
I love the running headcanon of fans reimagining that the sniper reveal turned out to be Howard, and he'd be like "So Jimmy, have you given any thought to that job offer?"
Howard gets shot and gives a last look at Jimmy. Blinking: "... --- / .--- .. -- -- -.-- --..-- / .... .- ...- . / -.-- --- ..- / --. .. ...- . -. / .- -. -.-- / - .... --- ..- --. .... - / - --- / - .... .- - / .--- --- -... / --- ..-. ..-. . .-. ..--.."
Howard is basically Niko Belic's cousin Roman in GTA4, always calling you to go bowling. Lol
@@Carlwat78 jimmy, my cousin! let's go work at HHM!
Lmao 💀💀 why hadn’t I heard about this?
Almost spit out my cereal imagining that scene
"Wexler v Goodman" into "JMM" into "Bagman" into "Bad Choice Road" is one of the strongest back-to-back uninterrupted streaks of A-Tier episodes I've ever seen on television. Damn. Season 5 is killer.
I bet it's going to be all worth it though for the final season to be a perfect 10/10.
@@matthewfortuna4464 Finale had some real strong moments, but its more like season 1 where the finale is setting up heavily.
@@weewer3369 Agreed. "Something Unforgivable" bookends the season while also establishing the stakes of the final season. In all honesty, it functions more like an epilogue to the season, whereas "Bad Choice Road" functions like a conclusion.
Are we seriously calling the finale meh? The entire sequence with Lalo and Nacho at the end was incredible
The last half each episode just keeps getting better. I remember watching Bagman and being like "this is the best episode ever" then I was proved wrong the next week and then the finale just tops them all.
This episode was so "Breaking Bad". I mean, how can you not be reminded of Walt and Jesse being stuck in the desert. Or when Jimmy's car is destroyed, I can't help but think about Walt and Jesse's van being destroyed. Both the car and the van represent a kind of "end of an era" for those characters.
They shot this episode in 18 days when normally they only get nine days to shoot each episode. It shows how dedicated the creators of this show really are to get the best stuff on television.
Directed by: Vince Gilligan
JoeyDangerously say no more
Oh, right, you mean the episode. Thought you meant their skit, it looked that good, lol.
He's back in the writer's room for S6
They were asking the whole time who was those guys who hit on Jimmy, and they didn’t thought about the call that one guy made after the cousins left the shop? I mean, I watched this episode once, when it aired.
i thought it was obvious as well! idk how they missed it
Christian Berumen they were so concerned how the cousins were going “too slow” with the money and the cars and money the cartel had haahhahaha
Congratulations for catching 1 thing they didn't! You're the man!
I mean at first they didn't even realize that was the money for the bail, so I wouldn't expect them to pick up on obvious things
They were talking instead of listening to the show!
Imagine if it was Howard that sniped all those cartel members and after he killed all of them he walks up to jimmy and says 'hey Jimmy you gave any thought about that job offer?'
Vince Gilligan directed this episode. He really took things to another level.
I am here because I have commented and this is my comment and hello hooray.
He's back in the writer's room for S6
@@arafat9828 The good news, you have delivered to me. I am grateful. Cheer up!
@@notdogstv Yeah he wasn't much involved in the past seasons because of El Camino I think
@@arafat9828 He was writing and directing El Camino while they were writing season 5. It's only right for him to help finish BCS since he co-created the show and created the universe.
"Take your shirt off!" - lol obviously never been to the New Mexico desert. Or any desert. That's a sure fire way to die, even if you make it out of the desert.

Isn't this show awesome?
Not a single Emmy. Unfathomable.
Not woke enough. Award shows are 100% political these days.
plus these so called "awards" require people to wine and dine judges in order to "win" the said award.
@@marcuscaballarius2159This is a ridiculous comment. If you think this show is at all right leaning you clearly haven’t actually paid attention. This show is pretty woke? A leading woman who commonly beats Jimmy at his own game! Omg so woke! A gay black main character? Wow! Also not to mention the critique of the War on Drugs and the drawbacks of no healthcare in Breaking Bad. This show is not right leaning. Idk why you think it is. Also what does “woke” mean to you? Black and gay people existing in lead roles? Because that word has lost all meaning
@@bilkywaygalaxy
I don’t necessarily disagree with you. However you made so many assumptions and jumped to so many conclusions that it’s hard to openly agree.
@@graystark240 He used the word woke. We all know what he means by that
You really notice how much drinkable liquid Jimmy waste during the rewatches. Water on shoes, letting liquid drain out of his mug after getting it out of the car before mike push it over a cliff, ... urine.
In the beginning of the episode, there's some guys who notice the twins put money in the bags, and he tells some people about it. That's where I'm assuming the guys who ambushed Jimmy came from and how they knew about the money.
Vince Gilligan said the shootout scene took five days to be shot and it was the hardest thing he ever directed.
You guys missed the phone call when the cousins leave the warehouse
Yes... they were talking too much.
BINGO. The guy at the warehouse called it in.
These guys never shut up and always talk about and do stupid stuff irrelevant to the show. Their constant noisiness and not shutting up is to insane
The great thing about the pacing of the rest of the show makes cartel shootouts feel so out of place in Jimmy's life.
Those beads on top of the funko pop tho 😂😂
I wonder whose ass they're for.
Montgomery Wenis probably mickeys
@@TonyL3 Hahahahaha yeah I can see that.
Man I was really wondering if anyone else was gonna address that lmao
@@TonyL3 There was a moment in one of their shows awhile ago where Chris and Marketa exchanged an uncomfortable glance after someone said something about her liking anal. Wouldn't be surprised. European ladies are freaky.
I called it, they dropped the skit on the most quintessential episode of the season
I loved that skit for the framing.
I'd argue the next episode is the quintessential episode.
You can make an argument that the 5, 8, 9, and 10 are all equally quintessential
Why are they laughing hard when Jimmy's literally quitting on life and while he's drinking piss... The first time I watched this I was so amazed I literally didn't make a sound lol
They don't like Jimmy that much
I was on my edge and thirsty af
Him drinking the pee is him deciding he isn't giving up. For Kim's sake
They enjoy seeing Jimmy suffering
The robbery is an inside job. There's a phone call made when twins are picking up the cash
😲😲
I love these guys' reaction channel but they seem to miss alot of details watching the shows because of all the talking thru the scenes!
Yeah they just missed it 😂
But why would the twin do that makes no sense
@@ILoveHoneyBunss the twins didn't. Someone else who saw them taking the cash did
Saul definitely didn't take that second blanket because it reminded him of Chuck. It only gets more intense after this episode
"Wouldn't Gus send someone?" Uh, Mike for example?
Gus didnt send him mike went himself
@@amirhossein1382h Gus sent him bruh
Please watch Ological's "Basement Breakdown" for this episode. I don't blame anyone for missing things, but almost every shot, every object, and every color has such depth of meaning, and I would be none the wiser to it without his videos. It increases my appreciation for this show 10 fold
that guy is Amazing.. everybody should watch him.. so.many things...
The show is very rich, Ive rewatched it like 8 times and see new things each time
How do they know what specifically has meaning to it?
@@arizonarangershat3831 Do you have the big iron on your hip??
Love love love the skits as always.
Huge stacks of cash behind them, Pat: "How can they afford those bags?"
Mike: "...and when my time finally comes I'll die knowing I did everything I could for those I care about." He did everything he could. RIP.
Lmaoooo, I noticed those beads sitting there halfway into the video 😂😂😂😂
Lalo said he had competitors that wanted to keep him in jail. In the opening one of the guys who worked at the place where the twins picked up the money was a mole for one of the cartel’s competitors and he told them about Lalo’s bail. That’s how they knew about Jimmy going out to the desert.
But we find out that it was Juan Bolsa who set it up and wanted to keep Lalo in jail to protect Gus’s business
Dude I love these skits. Chris' Mike is awesome.
Phantom goodbye
How is Suraj ALWAYS so wrong about why anyone does anything in this show? It's almost a talent.
I still love the "nobody is gonna look at me twice line" from Jimmy when he talks to Kim.
Really? That guy? You think that nobody will look at Saul Goodman twice? That's the exact opposite of what people do!
Plus forshadow to the end of the episode when he saves the day by being looked at twice.
The way Jimmy dresses, or the way SAUL dresses is to attract people's attention. The flashy suits and over extravagant ads are example
This show just keep getting better and better as it's progress.
I love the scene with the glow sticks.
Mike has a green one (the color of Breaking Bad) which means he completed his arc and is the Mike we know from BrBa who is willing to kill people for Gus aka going Full Measure.
Jimmy has yellow (the color of Better call Saul) which means his arc isn't completed yet and something big has to happen to him (loosing Kim ?).
I could really go for a spinoff of young Mike as a sniper in Vietnam.
This episode is totally rewatchable. There's a ton of references and callbacks!
I love your skits!👍
The opening skit was fucking awesome. I appreciate the effort you guys put into the camera work to make it feel like it was a part of the breaking bad/BCS universe. The actor for Mike nailed his inflections and mannerisms btw!
The scene in 6:50 now makes sense after rewatching it.. those small details are all well thought out
I've been waiting since April 6th (when this episode aired) for this reaction!
Yea they put these out at such a slow pace
Next week: "Tell me again"
What if Mike and Jimmy just said fuck Lalo and ran off with the money.
With how badass Mike is, they might have gotten away with it.
"You gotta drink piss!? Nah fuck that!! I want two million!" Love Pat's reactions!
Micky trying to figure out who those men were is just funny.
Saul Yesterday: My fingertips shoot lighting
Jimmy Today: I drink my own piss now
What happened with Park and Rec? Was that cut from the schedule?
are those, umm, beads on the coffee table?😂
That yeaahhhhooohhhhhh when the car roll over was funny
not to forget that it was Gus who planned Lalo's arrest but then he switched up and planned his release cz he was calling hits from prison, so Gus just wants him removed from the picture once and for all ...
Best skit yet.
loving the davis and main bottle like they could’ve just pick a random bottle but they care about the details so much it’s unreal
Eminem did indeed sample that loop from an older song and that older song is the one that plays in this episode. _I Got The..._ by Labi Siffre.
that space blanket.. Chuck kind of saved Jimmy.. and then just blows away at the end
omg the next episode is the best of the whole season
That scream on the skit deserve an oscar
This episode was when I was like.. alright this show is a masterpiece 👌👌
THE. Episode. Finally.
*GREAT SKIT! BEST SHOW!*
Lol what’s that on your guys table 😂
Can't wait for the Kim vs Lalo
Wow Chris did awesome Mike impression 😳
I know people say this every single episode of every single season, but I think this is the point where Jimmy has completed his transition into Saul. I think Mike's speech about how he does what he does for the people he loves just flicked that switch in Jimmy's head that this isn't a game, you don't get to dance around the bad guys and pretend you're not one of them. And the way he just committed to chugging that bottle of pee when he was so hesitant about it was so on the nose.
Suraj and Najid look like they're sharing a leg a few times at 12:11 (and likely other times).
Ya'll why would Gus try to stop Lalo from getting out on bail when Gus wants to get Lalo out on bail...
Did nahid just say he doesnt have a license??
I know this is late as fuck but isn’t at 5:25 a reference to Jesse Pinkman? Didn’t he get kicked out by his strict ass parents for a joint or am I bullshitting
Serg said “The GLINT” 😂
The cinematography in this episode was exceptional.I remember pausing my screen several times just to admire the frames!
These guys don't even know that Mike works for Gus, why would the Salamancas gift him anything 😂
Why is there a sex toy on the table
It's hard to concentrate on the picture with pink ben-waa balls just above it, in my peripheral vision all the time.
Later on, Saul is like:
"I just drank my own pee for the first time... and... it ain't bad. I never thought to do it, I always thought, you know, pee stinks, whatever, but...ssssshhhh."
(Downs cocktail glass of piss)
38:48 This is how they shot the car flipping scene ua-cam.com/video/5AFNqHBFRgE/v-deo.html
"Is Lalo gonna kill Kim?" Idk why I'm still watching these guys

Did anyone else notice that weird pink toy on the table? Or am I just being dirty minded right now lol?

*Little fun fact. In reality you only have to put up 10% of the cash. So he would have had to pay $700k not $7 million.*
I love how this show made Pat smarter than Suraj. That's how great this show is.
Obviously lalo was a bad egg for sure but why the hell do they need to know where he gets the money from.. they asked him for 7 mill 😂
lalo dies, kim works in the shadows with saul as an associate and nacho and his dad move to canada...
This is the best episode 😁
