I just heard "It's All Coming Back to Me" by Celine Dion on the radio today for the first time in probably two decades, and immediately upon hearing it I recognized the song structure of Jim Steinman. Absolute legend.
I always got a Phil Spector vibe from this song... It has the same drum beat as be my baby. So awesome to hear Jim say that about it having a Spector feel to it. Jim Steinman leaves behind the most treasured music catalog ever written, both lyrically and musically. A true genius in his craft.
This guy is a dead-set genius! He knows music and lyrics and musicality and instrumentation and everything to write an epic song. I could listen to Jim talk for hours! Such a talented and underrated guy...I'd like to see kanye or those other posers in music today try and break down the chords and melody of their own crap "music"...
Absolutely genius took a while to figure out that he was the other guy on back of album cover super talented guy RIP JS have BOOH in my CD player right now
I read that 'Miami' Steve Van Zandt was so Impressum by the beginning of this song that he convinced the recordcompany to Signatur Steinman and Meatloaf
ha Jim . Just so Awesome .. Just don't let him Do the VIDEOS !! Oh Good Lord those are so F ing Bad !! .. :) .. the Gay Dancer things .. :O . Oh Lord ! ..

A true genius will be remembered long after they're gone. Jim's songs will be listened to and loved for decades to come, I think that says it all.
Musical god...no doubt about it, and so underrated.....as many people should now this man as they do Freddie Mercury.

A big Genius, Jim Steinman
He makes it look so easy, but it's the results of a lifetime of practice and perfection, with a great attitude.

ABSOLUTE GENIUS - MY FAVOURITE SONG!
Awesome
I just wanted to listen to the whole song with him playing it, just him making that piano sing.
I read that 'Miami' Steve Van Zandt was so Impressum by the beginning of this song that he convinced the recordcompany to Signatur Steinman and Meatloaf
I wish I could find sheet music as if he plays it. All those I find are dumbed down versions.
OUT HERE IN THE FIELD!!! I FOUGHT FOR MY MEALS!!!
@electranieda It's on the full version of the song, that's what it starts with, the vows. Then the song starts.
genius
where do you have the videos from? I'd like to see more vids about more songs. JS is a genius!
Album produced by TODD RUNDGREN!!!! who took on the project because he thought it was a parody of Bruce Springsteen songs!!!
Todd is the best musician (and producer) ever
And what is that speech? anywhere that it can be found? I'd love to listen to it!
💔

Howard you my and aria Cambridge
his voice is so low, and then the piano is so loud.
Does anybody know what the speech was before all revved up? I’m thinking nocturnal pleasure 😊 thanks
Where is this set of clips from?
I think it's from the Classic Albums episode on Bat Out of Hell.
Everyone calls him a genius but he repeatedly explained how he added 2 + 2 and got 4.
I know. But honestly he is a genius bud
His 2+2=4 created one of the greatest records of all time. Yours, a comment on youtube. Hence, genius.

Is that a diss or a compliment
Since it all came of musical theater to begin with, that kinda goes with the territory.
He looks awful here. Very unhealthy Sad
He needs a haircut too. Very poor looking man. He has seriously health concerns here
