it's so amazing how you can produce this music with a computer and no "actual" musical instruments. you are so crazy talented!!! please keep making these vids
I'm not japanese nor chinese, yet the translation fit so well to my experience of Yorushika's melancholic tunes. Also, as you mentioned that you want to create similar music, I've had that fantasy for a while too :) the only problem is not getting the chance to amid all this growing up and not getting the time to either. Hopefully one day after this is over we both can enjoy to our heart's content. Keep rocking!
final product came out amazing, really captured yorushikas style very well so good job & thank you for such a well put together tutorial. i hope youll do a full video dedicated to mix some day, but for the time being would you mind quickly listing some of your go to plugins when it comes to sound processing? thanks for the tutorial again.
i feel like this song is more like N-Buna type rather than whole yorushika as N-buna used to make vocaloids but after forming yorushika he specializes on guitar riffs and melody while suis handles the vocals so
agreed, it kinda reminds me of a fusion between modern yorushika and n-buna's old vocaloid songs. the tone of the lead guitar especially reminds me of meru (メリュー) though in this video it's a bit grungier
This is my fave band/duo, Yorushika. And you really did amazing here, composition and everything! What I like about them is they actually don't stick their "music" to a specific one, and they add spice so that their albums or releases actually has stories behind or plot(?) (there's a dedicated forum for anyone who wants to understand Yorushika's timeline). They basically make music based on moods, literally, to the point even in a single album it's a mix-up of anything nice, and I highly respected n-buna for that, even put "external noise" to good use (listen Kumo to Yuurei). If you listen to those chosen songs to have MVs in their channel, it's like a lottery of what's to be released next, and it's always goodsht, yet those are just the surface of the goodness of the good! If I compare the duos YOASOBI and Yorushika, I'll always pick the latter any time of the day.
I know a guy who wants to be featured in a n-buna song (He's learning to sing), but he doesn't have any connections as he's going to university to do something related to physics (I think?). It was pretty useful
This has inspired me to create my own Japanese song. I've been a fan of J-music for a very long time. I have ideas for the song structure, but I'm not sure how or where to start. Your video will be very helpful for me, and I want to thank you for that. Hopefully, I can make and finish my song very soon. Thank you again!
I'm just Wowed at the fact you managed to replicate Yorushika's music style. but it made me realized the magic of there music is played by Suis vocals without it i don't feel like it has the same magic or something.
I guess, aside from the vocal (I mean, the limitation of voice synthesizer and all), I'd say: Surprisingly really Yorushika-ish vibes, just need to make the guitar solo more quicker and crazier, lol
Damn that was REALLY helpful - thank you! Do you mind sharing how you panned each instrument? I tried doing a similar mix (2 electric guitars, 2 acoustic, piano, bass, drums) but it seemed very muddy and cluttered.
try taking out the bass out of the instruments that arent a bass instrument and mess around with the eq on all the instruments till the all sound flush with each other. this process may take awhile but if u dont want to or dont know how to, find someone online to either do it for u or teach you
Such a good video I just stumbled upon. Aight I'll wait here for the algorithm to pick your channel up. Don't forget this comment when you get 1M subscribers.
It is wonderful that I, as a Japanese, am being taught how to write songs by Japanese artists in a foreign language.
Bro same here ahahahah
Yep 😊
same 😭
in international accents
@@ramenim3022 lol man
The combination of heavy memeing and actual good advice makes a really fun video to watch, and the song is so good it's stuck in my head!
Probably one of the best tutorials I've seen for Japanese styled music like this, and the replication sounds spot on! Amazing work
yo this is fucking interesting, the whole composition concept and execution is immaculate. well done, you deserve all the support and praise.

Mmm... what VSTs do you use for drums? and also the muted guitar. They sound nice.

Fr bro. I never know that you can make realistic strumming if not because this dude.

Yoasobi is the more popular duo, while yorushika makes music for the sake of music
You cracked the code bro. I'm so happy for this breakthrough. Keep putting up more work. Definitely worth it.
Bruh I've been hoping to find this kind of jrock tutorials for years. Your channel is pure gold, thank you!
I'm Japanese.
Your video makes me happy!
Thank you bro.
omg sounds very very VERY good!!!! Nice video 😂

i really love every tutorial you've uploaded. thank you so much!
really love this, thank you for being an inspiration!
Totally needs a live instrument cover and I’d be so down to play keys, so good
Holy shit this actually does sound like a Yorushika song. How does this not have more views wtf
I just discovered your channel, I love watching your videos! Please keep this up
This is too good 😭 Needs an animated MV
loving it for real
actual pog music
it felt like a nbuna before yorushika, i mean with the vocaloid it makes the vibe that nbuna have before yorushika formed
as someone who listened to Yorushika for 10,000 minutes (based on spotify yearly report), i'd say it is really close!

Reminded me of ZTMY a bit
Damn I love the special section I could tell you're having fun making that song!
this is the best tutorial thank you so much for your hard work you are awesome!

Agree. This should called be how to make N-Buna songs.
beautiful! its incredible how you make it sound so real and dynamic only using vsts
This is honestly really cool
I forgot that most Japanese songs use IV, V, III, VI, chord progression. And I didn't metally prepared to get rickrolled.
So wonderful to hear this kind of music and arrangement..thank you 🙏🙏
thank you good sir for your unending wisdom, i will put this to great use
The song so great. The most part I like is Piano part. 10/10 for you Hana. Always waiting for your new videos.
Dude I'll die for a spotify playlist of all your creations
This is so interesting to watch! Tq very much for the information.
That kick and share you used, the moment it started playing it reminded of a Naruto Shippuden opening, A Hero's comeback
yessir been searching for this since 97
Accidentally created a banger. Full music please.
How can we get bored with this amazing tutorials, full version pls king👑
I don't usually like Chis-A's engine noise but this song makes me inlove with her🥺

All your vids so good, auto subs 💕

You are amazing, subscribed!!!
That anya bit was so fking hilarious WTF 😂😂😂
This is good 😊
Bro! You really took your time translating the vox in that program?! You the goat for that! lol
Damn that was REALLY helpful - thank you! Do you mind sharing how you panned each instrument? I tried doing a similar mix (2 electric guitars, 2 acoustic, piano, bass, drums) but it seemed very muddy and cluttered.

@@prodginm Thanks. Any advice on how to mix in the piano?
this is extremely impressive, nice video :0
grovebass is a plugin with nice slap capabilities. just control with keyswitches and stuff
If you don't mind, please compose Dareharu(Korean musician)'s songs.
It would be a masterpiece!
We need a full version!!!❤❤❤
I loved watching the process, it sounds so good. Do you know of any synth or voice bank in Spanish?
There are some old Spanish Vocaloids named Bruno, Clara, and Maika, but unfortunately that is it for commercial synths.
This content reminds me of composerily, i really like it.
You are a ghost producer for Yorushika?? This is so good❤❤
1:05 ... Had me dying🤣🤣🤣
Nice Bro😂 That Fav Rick Astley
Type of Chord Progression is So Japanese
4:54 RIP a friend

INSANE WORK ON MUSIC AND EDITING!!!!❤💕🔥💪💪💪💯💯😇🕺🔥🔥🔥
Another great video 😂❤❤❤
THIS IS WONDERFUL
I need full version 🤝🔥🔥
Demanding for EVE!!!!!
The song is SO GOOD
Brooooooo!!!!! This is one of the best!! 🔥
May I borrow your brain for a little while?
❤ I might not be able to sleep now, my head 🎸.
Great job! 👏🏻
I love it
Did you put an effect on the vocals or does it come out like this out of VoiSona ? Great song btw !
10:42 without mix
10:58 mixed
@@hana130p Okay, thanks for your answer 😁
theyre like 80% of the reason i bought a guitar lol
Wooww.... just amazing....
vocaloid tutorial will be fire :p
Can you make a tutorial about using virtual guitar vst, like programing a certain sound, strum, pattern in the piano roll?
i could recognize chis-a's voice from a mile away-
Yorushiks is Life❤❤❤❤
Wow fist and the special love all.I wish someone do the cover haha.
CANN I KNOW HOW THE BASS MIDI DESIGNED?????
IT SOUND SOOOO GOOOODDDD
That chord progression at the start reminds me a lot of Kita's solo!
How you mix that punchy drums?
this is so banger!!
itu sangat keren, melodi yang luar biasa
You are amazing 😃
