Dont feel bad for covering songs that already exist, this sounds great.
For people who dont know much about acoustic blues and wanna play guitar without singing, this channel is a gem. It has that unique and distinct feeling, and you can build a huge repertoire without any other sources.

Brian, I'm really loving your teaching - almost got this one down - just a bit rough around the edges, but working at it. I've gone premium and progressing through your courses - all brilliant stuff - thanks for being an ace teacher!

What a great choice Brian love this song and your absolutely right about the many different versions of this song. I’ve listen to many covers and surprising found out Hugh Laurie the British actor that is probably most recognized for the TV series HOUSE is multitalented and does a excellent cover of this classic song 👍🇨🇦

Thanks for the lesson. This one will take me a while to master. It's a challenging standard. :-)

I have been trying that very same thing. Too bad I am not talented !!! Maybe like Doc Watson said" after about 10 years he got onto the fingerpicking" ! I figure if the Good LORD leaves me live to about 150 I should be getting good at it ?? Happy playing my friend !

    Beautiful arrangement sir !
I have only one question.. is it better for an intermediate player to practice basic techniques until got solid or start playing challenging stuff slowly over and over..
what is best for fast development in playing
    Cheers..

I guess I don't look at learning and improving on guitar by doing either of those things. I find that playing along with either other musicians or my favorite records are the best way to learn - mainly because I'm having fun and totally entertained in the process. If I run into a lick that I can't do and I really want it, then I'll stop and do it over and over again until I can get close. and I"ll keep coming back to it for days and months until I can do it.
