he he, actually too "thick" for proper crepes.. But for what we call pancakes (in most of europe) it is perfect.. We actually do not really have your typical american pancake over here.. Our "pancakes" are maybe double the thickness of a crepes. Much like the one in the video :)

if you want them to come out fluffy like buttermilk pancake just replace half the cream cheese with butter milk, simply add a tsp vinegar to whole milk also whip the whites separately then add a tsp baking soda continue whipping the whites into stiff peaks, blend or whisk the yolks, buttermilk, and cream cheese separately then blend to combine the two in the mixer whit the egg whites, the baking soda will react with the vinegar and create a rising effect no need to fold them together you want the whites to deflate a little into a pourable batter consistency
@@Gatorlips2 baking soda not baking powder but you could use baking powder only baking powder has cornstarch and other stuff I don't want to eat baking soda and vinegar together when they combine do the same thing as baking powder alone
You can use gelatin and collagen also. Seperate the whites and gelatin until fluffy. Then collagen to the yolks while blending. Once yolks are creamy, fold in the whipped whites, and you're ready to cook them.
I microwave the cream cheese to soften. Then it blends great with the eggs with just a wire whip. I make a ham and cheese sandwich or a hamburger with these.
These are good. I’ve made them many times. I usually use bacon fat or beef tallow instead of butter. Another really good recipe can be found on Serious Keto. It uses pork panko.
Someone else suggested whipping the whites separately.. I'm assuming then fold into the batter of yolks and cream cheese and maybe a bit of buttermilk? .. thinking that would make them fluffy? I'll have to experiment. I've used the dash to make waffles with eggs and almond flour and cheddar cheese.. they don't taste like scrambled eggs, very crispy.. so testing out stuff.
My daughter loves these. It’s pretty much the only way I can get her to want to eat protein for breakfast. Also, the Serious Keto carnivore pancake recipe is AMAZING. You can almost fool a non low carb person with it. I highly suggest you try it 😊
I wonder if you separate the egg yolks and whites. Blend the yolks with the cream cheese. Whip up the Whites to then fold into the yolks/cream cheese... would it make a thicker airier batter and pancake?
Look like crepes. I’m gonna give this a try. I’m so put off by many of these recipes because they all wind up tasting like eggs. I love eggs but not when I’m expecting pancakes.
Looks so good. Does anyone know of an egg replacer on carnivore lifestyle? Nearing 90 days. I have an egg allergy, I know 😕. Haven't heard anyone speak of it. Thought I'd ask. Thanks🌼
Question(s).......why no veggies and if you are going on this diet to lose weight is there a proper way to transition back to normal healthy eating, meaning including veggies?
Vegi’s have oxalates which are unhealthy for many humans to consume. I’ve eaten mostly red fatty beef nightly for a year now (eggs & bacon for breakfast & other carnivore meals & have NEVER FELT BETTER! Feels like I’m reverse-aging! I have family members & friends who have converted to carnivore lifestyle as well😀
Vegetables don’t want to be eaten. They are full of toxins that accumulate in our system causing all kinds of pains and diseases including cancer. In very recent history they have been genetically modified to make them taste better but the poisons are still in there. The majority of us, as children, found vegetables bitter and horrible but we were taught to override our instincts through threats and rewards. Later, as adults, we bought the lie that they are healthy and necessary. Nothing could be further from the truth.
If you want to eat veggies, may I suggest the DASH diet. Everyone needs to find the lifestyle commitment that will work for them. You can’t expect to keep weight off and improve your health if you go back to former habits. You need to change habits for a lifetime.
The cook rubbed her nose with her hand in the opening scene. It would have been nice if she had visibly washed her hands before showing herself handling the food with her fingers -- even though I suspect the cooking steps were shot completely separate from the actual cooking action.
This definitely looks like a batter for crepes as they come out thin. They look great though. Thanks for sharing.😊

I was thinking this looked great for the eggfast Snickerdoodle crepes that were so popular.
I make pancakes using 1 c. ground pork rinds, 3 eggs, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 c. heavy cream. 🙂
Nice 1 👍🏻. I’ve got a 1kg box of pork rinds arriving tomorrow I’ll give that a go 😁
Does it matter if the rinds are fried or baked?😊
@@brandydavidson-realtor9504 I would go with baked to avoid industrial oils which are so damaging to your health. Like: canola, soy, corn, etc.,etc....
Is there a good source you can recommend to get baked rinds.
@@MarieLittle-zd5kcmany pork rinds are fried in there own fat, (lard). Check the package.

How much buttermilk do you add to the pancake? Thank you.
@@deborahdoesscrap. That would be 2oz buttermilk, 2 oz cream cheese

I do it this way too. So good.
I microwave the cream cheese to soften. Then it blends great with the eggs with just a wire whip.
I make a ham and cheese sandwich or a hamburger with these.
Love that idea!
I’m definitely going to try these. I’ve made something similar using mozzarella. They’re good too.
I would add some butter to ea layer and because I'm only 99% carnivore I would add a little stevia and vanilla extract to whip cream
Same here
Thank you! always looking for something new to try.

This looks really good! I'd probably have to cut back some on the whipping cream though. Ooooh, top it with bacon crumbles! Thanks Kat!😊
Just made these! Delicious.
2nd batch I added 1/2 tsp vanilla.
They don’t rise but they taste great!😊

Thank you so much. I will try this recipe on Pancake Day.
There is a similar recipe using pork rind flour. It makes thicker pancakes. Your batter looks like it could be suitable for crepes too.
Thank you for the video, I'm going to try it👍
Cool. I think bacon bits or pork crackling would be a nice topping.
I wonder if you separate the egg yolks and whites. Blend the yolks with the cream cheese. Whip up the Whites to then fold into the yolks/cream cheese... would it make a thicker airier batter and pancake?
Yes that will work. That is similar to how I’ve seen people make cloud bread.
I wonder if adding a scoop of vanilla protein powder would help them be a little thicker and add flavor?
This looks easy and GREAT! I am only 3 weeks into carnivore diet and I am getting ridiculous cravings. This gives me hope. Thank you!
Try eating more fat. That helped me on my journey!
Me too, end of second week, and the cravings!! The cravings are there!
Yeah, I have tried eating fat, coconut oil, or, avocado oil. It does help, but, then there are days when I crave.
the coffee is a good idea!! thanks
These were very easy and so good!! Thanks for sharing!
Trying this today! Thank you so much.
Oh my! These are amazing! Topped with natural yogurt, raw honey and blueberries - sooooo good. Thank you 😊

I’m so making these in the morning!
I love that spatula do you happen to have a link, can't wait to try the pancakes!
What if you add baking powder?? Do they rise??
Do these freeze well?
So how do you get them to stick together? Mine tore and could not keep them together
Kat, batter looks a little thin. Would more cream cheese thicken it up?
I use less eggs. Also if you refrigerate batter, it will be thicker.
Wow, so easy and without porc. Thank you, I will make it :)
Yummy!!
