It s a really bad idea to buy a car like this if you don’t have a lot of money. There are really better choices. Don’t try to look rich but simply look for the best quality/money deal.

I put cash away monthly in case I have any major issues with my XKR-s that has 84k on clock, but as yet I've had a driving holiday to mille miglia without incident on that cash, and apart from servicing no issues, as I bought with full service history.. I live in Australia and cars don’t depreciate. The Porsche would be still selling for like $80,000 $85,000 Australian dollars like £40,000. Just sold my old 2011 Range Rover Autobiography Sport for $62,000 which is around £31,000. It’s crazy compared to how it is back in the uk. The cars just don’t rust, so they don’t really depreciate badly.

MMM18092 well at least rust nowadays isn’t so much in issue . It’s weird it depends on what your purchasing. Somethings like phones. I went back over to see the family and was with my cousin and we went to Apple because he wanted to get a new phone. I compared the prices and it was a lot steeper in the uk compared to here. Houses in England believe it or not are cheap compared to ones here in Sydney. I live in a fairly average 4 bed house with a large garden and a pool that would sell for around $1,500,000 au now compared to the $225,000 au I paid in 1998.

2 tips for ya Chris. First, do you own a gun? People are often very willing to give you loads of money when you have a gun. Even bank tellers! Although people with their own guns aren’t as generous. Yeah for sure - if you're looking for the most luxurious driver aids from a car in this video you've got to go for the Giulia, but if you're just looking for the most luxury 'feel' (materials etc) then you've gotta go for that Bentley. I know in the US you can get a Lincoln MKZ, MKS, and MKX, Mercedes CLS Class, BMW 1 Series, Cadillac ATS, XTS, SRX, Escalade, and these are just some for under 25,000. I personally drive a Lincoln MKZ it's an amazing car and very nice interior for the price.

If you'd swopped the Maserati for its forebear the outstanding quattroporte I'd probably agree with your list mate. My tip would be if you really want one of these old luxury cars then buy a burgundy or green one. As these tend to be ordered by nice old retired blokes who spend every Sunday waxing their pride and joy. If you can find a one owner car with lots of dealer stamps then go for it.
I do love the quattroporte and the sound it makes is much nicer than a diesel Ghibli for sure 🤙🏽 haha that's a great shout - also the #makegreengreatagain movement is in full swing, so you get to be a part of that. Always important to get someone you trust and who knows what they're talking about to inspect any second hand car before you buy it - my dad's a car mechanic so he's always been ideal for buying new cars. I own a 730d from 2006 (it's on 2009 plates, however)..that is a decent car for the money even with a chauffeur and albeit an experienced mechanic in the family makes this car affordable...but if I was to get a replacement from this list it's a tough call between the Maserati and the Bentley (my uncle (the mechanic) owns a Quattroporte but says the quality overall isn't great which given he bought it damaged and fixed it and does the bulk of the maintenance himself his is decent advice to follow) so I'd get the Bentley as it is a quality vehicle but for one that isn't on the list is the Range Rover in any format

Cars With JB You said the seats are comfortable but thats literally the opposite of what is said by a lot of people. It has horrible seats and not much of technological features like other cars would have. If anything you shouldve added the Mercedez C300 2015 which is what i currently own.
Tiger Barua ah I see, that's interesting because when I was in a Ghibli (a 2017 model) I found the seats to be super comfy (but don't forget I'm comparing with my VW Polo so that's not saying much haha) - but overall I was quite impressed when I was in the car. I myself am currently driving a 2003 Jaguar XJ6 X350 and although it is quite old now and was actually a really cheap auction purchase that now has over 135000 miles on it, it is ridiculous how luxurious it still feels and all my friends and work colleagues just assume that I'm rich even though I'm not, needs a service though, electrical gremlins are showing lol

The panamera is pretty sick. I dont have much bad to say about it. If you find one under 30k go for it. The ghibli is shit. Waste of money. The Jag is great buy though. That would be my choice. I never understood why they arent more beloved than they are. I absolutely love them. All of them.
Yeah agree on the Panamera, and I had heard from a lot of people that the Ghibli wasn't any good but when I went for a ride in my friend's dad's one, it was pretty sick I must say. A bit of a shame it's nowhere near the GT though. And yeah agreed the Jag is unreal, see them in person too and they're huge!

The problem with the Guilia is not the interior or the grille. The exterior body is way too plain and dull. It looks like any number of vehicles you could buy brand new for under 25k. Just not eye catching other than the distinctive AR grille design.

Cars don't rust in the UK either. At least not a Panamera. The UK has cheaper second hand cars than the rest of Europe which is quite fascinating.

I have a Ford from 2004. Going to change it next year or perhaps this very same year, it held up really good so far with very few problems.

I know in the US you can get a Lincoln MKZ, MKS, and MKX, Mercedes CLS Class, BMW 1 Series, Cadillac ATS, XTS, SRX, Escalade, and these are just some for under 25,000. I personally drive a Lincoln MKZ it's an amazing car and very nice interior for the price.

If you'd swopped the Maserati for its forebear the outstanding quattroporte I'd probably agree with your list mate. My tip would be if you really want one of these old luxury cars then buy a burgundy or green one. As these tend to be ordered by nice old retired blokes who spend every Sunday waxing their pride and joy. If you can find a one owner car with lots of dealer stamps then go for it.
I do love the quattroporte and the sound it makes is much nicer than a diesel Ghibli for sure 🤙🏽 haha that's a great shout - also the #makegreengreatagain movement is in full swing, so you get to be a part of that. Always important to get someone you trust and who knows what they're talking about to inspect any second hand car before you buy it - my dad's a car mechanic so he's always been ideal for buying new cars. I own a 730d from 2006 (it's on 2009 plates, however)..that is a decent car for the money even with a chauffeur and albeit an experienced mechanic in the family makes this car affordable...but if I was to get a replacement from this list it's a tough call between the Maserati and the Bentley (my uncle (the mechanic) owns a Quattroporte but says the quality overall isn't great which given he bought it damaged and fixed it and does the bulk of the maintenance himself his is decent advice to follow) so I'd get the Bentley as it is a quality vehicle but for one that isn't on the list is the Range Rover in any format
People will not be able to afford the maintenance for these autos.
Lexus is much more affordable and practical.

Yeah but also consider that a newer Ghibli is going to depreciate a lot in the next 5 years, where as the 2009 GTs will probably hold their value. I guess you're right that the Ghibli isn't a bad option but for me I could never choose one of the Grandtourismo.

Cars With JB You said the seats are comfortable but thats literally the opposite of what is said by a lot of people. It has horrible seats and not much of technological features like other cars would have. If anything you shouldve added the Mercedez C300 2015 which is what i currently own.
Tiger Barua ah I see, that's interesting because when I was in a Ghibli (a 2017 model) I found the seats to be super comfy (but don't forget I'm comparing with my VW Polo so that's not saying much haha) - but overall I was quite impressed when I was in the car. Obviously I have no idea what it's actually like to live with long term though!

I myself am currently driving a 2003 Jaguar XJ6 X350 and although it is quite old now and was actually a really cheap auction purchase that now has over 135000 miles on it, it is ridiculous how luxurious it still feels and all my friends and work colleagues just assume that I'm rich even though I'm not, needs a service though, electrical gremlins are showing lol
Haha it is insane how well these cars hold up when maintained well, and the luxury feel is almost always there! Even going for a classic luxury car, you still get that luxury feeling.

The panamera is pretty sick. I dont have much bad to say about it. If you find one under 30k go for it. The ghibli is shit. Waste of money. The Jag is great buy though. That would be my choice. I never understood why they arent more beloved than they are. I absolutely love them. All of them.
Yeah agree on the Panamera, and I had heard from a lot of people that the Ghibli wasn't any good but when I went for a ride in my friend's dad's one, it was pretty sick I must say. A bit of a shame it's nowhere near the GT though. And yeah agreed the Jag is unreal, see them in person too and they're huge!

The problem with the Guilia is not the interior or the grille. The exterior body is way too plain and dull. It looks like any number of vehicles you could buy brand new for under 25k. Just not eye catching other than the distinctive AR grille design.
Yeah that's fair enough - I think I'd probably agree with you, which is why I focussed on the interior for this video (and put it 5th). Still a nice car for sure, but you'd always wish you had a Quardifoglio!
