Does it slow your PC down? My premiere pro is very slow to open since I started using the submachine.
It shouldn't but there's a lot going on so depending on your specs it may.

Ideally you’d be editing the transcription/captions before using the SRT file in SubMachine but you can also make edits to the mogrts in the Essential Graphics panel and by using the Tools included with SubMachine.
Yeah there's a tool called "sync text and typography" which let's you take any changes you make to the text and apply to all the relevant graphics.
There's also tools for adjusting where phrases begin and end, as as joining and splitting phrases
I bought the plugin but where can I use the slide style?
Slide is now part of the Animator mogrts.

How do I make the back color go over only the current word? I can't seem to find that preset.
my (cc) create caption button is greyed out - not able to press it. Any ideas what has gone wrong? i'm not able to generate captions

ON SECOND THOUGHT: After putting in the TIME and the EFFORT (even installing the extension is a pain in the ass)I've decided that Captions and Subtitles are just not worth the WORK. I'll make sure my audio is perfect instead. at some point Code writers are just CREATING problems JUST SO THAT they can sell us a solution to it. This is a hard pass for me POLITELY AND RESPECTFULLY. And I admit I could be wrong.
It's more for tiktok/youtube shorts style videos where the audience is expected to have zero attention span and require constant text pop ups for retention, it's an algorithm thing that's (imo) horrible but necessary. I like the plugin's approach but I use Premiere titles for the text myself, and mogrts may take more time out of my work than I want.
Have you tested the extension out ? There is a free trial on the Subscription version.
It is more for the shorter style of videos although we have lots of editors using SubMachine on longer form projects too.
I think SubMachine would be significantly faster and more engaging than using Premiere’s built in titles.
Love your videos Colin and have followed you for some time but I will NEVER use Adobe ever again. Yea, greedy Adobe cut my paid over $500 CS6 suite off, even stopping the actual disk loading. They ask me to locate the seller, knowing it's hard to locate out-of-business resellers with who Adobe at the time DID register my software from the seller back then. Some were blaming Windows 10 later finding out it was Adobe that wants everyone to get on the CC paid subscription, especially after Adobe went public stock market made them unreasonably aggressive. Adobe doesn't care about making enemies, only $$$ money. Actually, they did me a favor because it forced me to try and learn other programs like free DaVinci resolve that I eventually paid for the Studio version and perpetual easier up-to-date Ai programs like Filmora, Affinity Photo, ''Luminar Neo from Ukraine'', inPixo, and a host of others. These programs may not have longevity user support established like Adobe Ps, AE, and Pr yet, but I'm very satisfied deleted all that I can with Adobe's name off of my computer, and encouraged as many as I can to do the same, and will never ever look back, use or buy Adobe again. Sorry for the rant but Adobe got me F*Cked up. Please do some Devinci vids, I'm sure you will be successful with subscribers. Thanks.
