I’m not an artist nor am I a small business owner but I really enjoyed this video! I never thought of contacting alibaba manufacturers for designs but honestly, that was such a smart idea. Also, Walmart sells some paper cutters for cheap! I got one for like 5-10$ for my crafts and it works just as well as the fancy ones.
Cream is actually a hard color even with a book. Pastel books not all manufacturers have but they usually have the wider selection of lighter options or you can ask if they will add white to a color to make it lighter.
Ahh this is really helpful to know. They did note that the color is made from a mixture, but I wasn’t sure how much white they added. I guess next time I’ll just ask them to add more 😂
@@shooley yeah I have some videos of how they mix it and it always makes me laugh bc it's not like I ever expected. It's best to just get samples done when colors matter a lot. Some do free samples so it never hurts to ask! = )
Hiee! Absolutely loved watching the video, it was so relaxing haha The price highly depends on the design and number of colours used. I’ve gotten my pins manufactured at locally at as less as $1.56 (1.5 inch pins and 30 pieces)! I really wanted to see and explore cheaper options but I guess $1.56 is fine considering the quantity as well✨
Hi there! I am a fellow artist vendor! I am in that process of looking for affordable enamel pin manufacturers because I've never made any before (same situation as you in the video - I am hesitant to pay hundreds of dollars for something that might not sell), and I would love to know who your manufacturer is, as I feel like the quote they offered you is a fair starting price for me. :)
Thanks for sharing your experience and the process! Definitely very helpful, maybe because you began as a beginner, and so you're shoving all the information that us noobs would have into the video.🥰
oohh that's a really good point about the the first sample pin, I didn't think of doing that :0 I didn't mention it but the price includes the mold fee!
Those are super cute pins! Thank you for the really good information! I use an ancient first-gen Silhouette to do all my stickers and paper cutting (including prints and business cards once when I was strapped for time to wait for them) and it still works just fine, so if you're looking for a cutting machine you might see if there are any out there second-hand. Also, high five from another Washington based artist! :)
For manufacture #3 that's about how much enamel pins cost going directly through a China manufacturer. I pay about $2 each pin with 3-5 colors at 1.5inches. Before pandemic it used to be like $1.5 or $1.75 per pin. Offcourse depends on style of pin and colors. Most US pin manufacturers are just middle man services that order from China.

Haha yes I think I’ll get a paper cutter, thanks for the suggestion. Glad you liked the video :)
Would you share the alibaba manufacturer you used prettypleeeeease
