Thanks for sharing this video. I have a 1972 Suzuki TS125 and I was not able to find a video of a seal replacement of this type of fork until I found your video. It was funny watching you go through the same thought process that I had trying to separate the chrome tube. Thanks again...it helped me remember what to do to put them back together.
Thanks Mike! Yes certainly was a different type fork. I’ve since had it apart again (damaged one putting in a leaked) and there not a bad fork to work on, only took 10mins to change. Hope your TS project is going well 👍🏻
Thanks....lots of videos on the second generation G5 shocks....you did a great job on the gen one shock restoration.
Thanks mate! Are these a gen one are they? I think the engine number has G4 in it somewhere. I did damage one seal though and had to replace. I also had to take out some oil because they were too hard. Thanks for watching! 👍🏻
Great video mate, this was my bike I got my licence on. I brought one now and fixing up. I need to replace the condenser and points
Thanks mate! I need to do the condenser on this one I think, I believe the crank seal may be leaking and the condenser getting wet after a few minutes of running. Not 100% sure, but that’s my theory 👍🏻
Just got my kv100 yesterday
Nice mate, enjoy! They’re pretty fun!
Look easy enough
hey mate also the high low box has an oil fill of its own might want to drain an refill that too. Keep em coming will keep me motivated to work on mine lol
Thanks mate I did notice that aswell👍🏻
