Does this camera continuously record everything when driving? I got into an accident, and my old dash cam recorded me leaving work all the way to the stop at the stoplight, then it started recording after someone ran red light and totaled my car.

Yes, it records all the time and once it’s out of space it will delete old files. If there would be an accident, it will save it separate as it has a g sensor and won’t delete until you delete it manually.
