Luke, You shouldn't need to treat them right out of the box. Once you have a few miles in them we recommend using our Crispi Leather Cream to condition your Nevada's.
After I re-condition my crispi's how long before I can use them again??? And you said something about repeating the process??? Thanks I love my Crispi legends best boot ever
Don't leave boots out in the sun? 🤔 How else am I gonna dry those while I am camping? Like, if I cross a creek or something & then make camp , I got only two choices to dry my boots out. Fire or sunlight. So....?
He probably means…. Don’t leave them in the sun for an extended period of time… like the entire off-season. I live in Hawaii and our temps and weather range from 50s cold wet and rainy to 10 miles away it being 85 Hot and Sunny. Needless to say leather is either getting dry and cracked or rot with mildew. I use saddle soap and mink oil every few months to maintain. Aloha🤙🏼
@@ondaholo1568 Aloha! 😀 Yeah. Cool. but you know, the context isn't similar to your situation. Your explanation makes sense but I don't see how that could possibly apply to what's being discussed here. On a side note, if you're in Hawaii and you're hiking, you're doing it wrong! 😁 It's the land of sun-kissed beaches, bikinis, and lots of pineapples. Her soul is merry, no? 🍍🍹 Enjoy, paradise, brother 👍
Hello... your guide gtx has nubuck leather and your wild rock has full grain smooth leather. I want to know if its equally as easy to apply and soak up your waterproof cream. The nubuck looks like it will soak it rite up but the smooth full grain looks like it will not. I want to make sure the wild rock full grain leather boots will be easy to take care of because I'm looking for a snowy cold weather boot but I do take care of my stuff
I heard a podcast with the guys that owns crispi in italy that they recommend using a spray to finish off the wax-treatment. do you guys know of what type of spray I should look for to increase protection against water without damaging the skin?
We recommend avoiding any leather treatment that is animal fat, LP or beeswax based. Our Crispi Leather cream is a waterbased product that helps restore the oils and natural waterproofness of the leather.
When you clean them off with water should you pat dry them then let them dry on their own or just let them dry on their own after rinsing them off?
If only every Crispi boot owner followed these simple steps to get more years out their boots !
do new boots require any product application? just got some nevadas I am exited to break in. Thanks!

Condition the boots right out of the box. Break-in will be much faster and painless.
