It's all funny till you find it with the combine 🤣
Tornadoes have a way of rearranging our world. Nice undercarriage shot of the BB, big tires and all the power but the torque is really handled by the differential bits and axels and must be huge. Thank you and God bless
Scott. As an old farm boy and lifetime mechanic, it's always rewarding when your troubleshooting pays off. Makes you feel like a success. God bless always!
Thank you! Disable dude working on asparagus beds taking a break. God bless
It’s a good thing you don’t have one of those new 🚜Green ones or that would’ve been dead until JD showed up to troubleshoot it
Farmers are smart, industrious people, but..... You guys are next level smart! Thanks for sharing👍
Sure like watching you guys doing all that farming. Would like to meet you all some day in person. Thx for all the good videos
Its so relaxing to throw on on of yall's new videos while doing virtual school work.
Tie the canoe to the Big Bud in case it floods.. gotta think outside the box, buddy!!
The canoe in the field is funny! Reminds of the movie "The Gods Must Be Crazy", where a guy throws a Coke bottle out of an airplane and it is found by a native bushman and he has never seen one and has no idea what the object is. Great movie. Keep up the good work and God bless!
Leg Arms you were stellar in this vid!! Your RIP segment was hysterical!!!
Good video y’all never get tired of seeing old glory flying
Scott it’s row row row your boat gently down the field . I hate electrical problems as well but you figured it out . Good man !!
Keep up the good work guys.
I really appreaciate the hard work it must be to film your hard work. :)
I'm also glad that Minneapolis is not on fire today. You have helped distract me from that whole fear.
I can't get enough of the footage of all the fields as you are planting. Just beautiful. So different then the hills and mountains of central PA. Thanks for the amazing scenery. God Bless!!
Oh the joys of equipment. Hope the rest of seeding goes a little smoother. Thanks for running us through the diagnosing.
You should start a collection of Field Finds. It’ll get interesting quickly. So nice to see planting underway. Thanks for sharing!
way to go Scott, not sure I could have shown the restaint you did and not drove over the canoe, love what you guys do, thank you for sharing, GOD BLESS till next time
Ol Trusty will be back during combine season :D
Bet they find "ole trusty".... during harvest season !
Lol! An cuz problems too! 🤑
Fantastic video you guys are the best just can’t wait for the next video, it’s great having Leg arms back in full Heath. Rob from the 🇬🇧
God bless you this season, and keep you and your family safe
Canoe....I guessed a trampoline. RIP Old Trusty. We hardly knew ya. Baby swear...those Bud's are some bad ass machines.
A little Flex Seal and you would have a nice canoe! Lol at least that’s what the commercials show.
I’d 100% trust the results if the welkers tried it out. Seriously would be a decent brand deal, never felt the need to buy flex seal but if Scott nick or dad welker showed it works maybe I’d find a use
Scott, your ability, knowledge and skills are amazing....God bless.
Gotta love how long it takes to get things just right on any piece of equipment roll on welkers and wiggles
I love the idea of the ear muffs. But when I drive tractor I like to listen to sounds to make sure everything is running right
I still see the boo-boo on the shop that Leg-arms created. Oh well, field work is a must. We just finished yesterday with Anhydrous. Now, we wait 5 days. God Bless Welker family!
How lucky are you to have an exact same ECM on another vehicle to test things out. Congrats, on proper diagnostic work.
Good job on the computer diagnostics legs arm!!!!! Nick the pressure of the frozen sprayer had to deal with that in construction days with frozen hoses and spickets!!!! What a mental downer!!! Glad to see you got it going!!!!!!keep up the good work!!!!
Troubleshooting is an art form. Good job!
Nick end of season when y’all put the sprayer away for the winter. Get some RV antifreeze run through it. People also use it in there above ground swimming pool, to keep pump from freezing up.
Always enjoy watching your videos especially how you all work so good together to keep everything going👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Excellent video it's nice to see you guys out planting old trusty will be back but next time it will be stuck in the combine. The canoe was a quite a find out the farm field
Thank you for posting welkers God bless yall 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you!
I would love to tag along with Leg Arms for a day and help with fixing the equipment around the farm, would learn a ton from him. God bless from QLD Australia 🇦🇺
Love your profile pic, the terror of the skies bearing down upon you!
Don’t worry leg arms, you’ll find old trusty this fall with the combine.. great video guys. I never would have imagined a boat ending up in the field like that.
When you switch engines to something different or when over fuelling the engine there always seem to be problems that go along with it. When installing an N 14 into a tractor without previous electronic engine there was a small panel with some switches etc. And a small wiring harness. There is an outfit in Phoenix that makes harnesses for any electronic engine, saves you 600 ft or whatever you used to make the transformation. Retired now just got a KT 450 running that hasn’t been run for about 30 years, forgot how good those engines run, a unique sound. Repaired and overhauled many KTA engines. Always enjoyed it. Was a hobby more than work. Happy Farming
Legarms in every video im more of a mechanical guy. Fixes a complicated electrical issue. Good thinking in solving the problem👍👊
Love how legs arms went through diagnosing the big bud. I work at a tractor shop on mostly older equipment so I really enjoyed his thought process.
Leg arms is certainly very handy and has a ton of common sense 👍
Here in Ontario, Canada. Winterize/ flush sprayer boom with Windshield washer fluid, or RV antifreeze, just thought; BIG BUD has on board air , blow out when practical.💙👍
Scott, you are a goofball. LOVE IT!! You are absolutely hilarious, and you made me smile. Thank you for that!!! Ol' Trusty was a good piece of metal, but it's sad that he was lost to planting mishaps. Ooh!! Canoe trip in the fields!!! Don't forget an old paddle.. make one if you have enough scrap lumber. lol!!!
I think it's a sign Scott: first, your air drill attempts to turn itself into a sail-powered unit. Then, the good Lord provides you with a boat. If pairs of animals start showing up anytime soon, let me suggest you take out some high moisture insurance for this year's crop.
🤣🤣
This comment didn't age well....
Videos don’t get any better than this , thanks Leg Arms 😀👍🏾🚜🍞
I Feel for you scott it's hard to loose something you loved
Leg arms is my hero. i can trouble shoot AC voltage but DC drives me crazy. Good job!!
Love to see "Old Glory" on the equipment! Good call Welker Farms!
Yep
His daughter was hilarious for plugging her business in. The hustle is real!
Your proximity to Canada suggests you may have had a visit from Mr. Canoehead. Glad the fixes are going easy. Take care and God bless!
You are the best man for that job mr leg arms
That really highlights why farmers have to be able to fix their own equipment. Nice job Scott
Hey Leg Arms, that's a glorious find! You can easily repair that with some fiberglass! That would be great for the lake house for your dad to just paddle around and fish!!
I was able to fix one with a majority of the bottom smashed in by snow and never had an issue when I fixed it!
Sure hope Old Trusty doesn't find its way into a combine later.
Brad Meacham That was my exact thoughts
@@gavinperry7237 mine too
Who knew an old piece of tin could be so entertaining for Scott
Awesome Video as Always!!
Scott, all you need to do is call Phil Swift to come fix your canoe with his Flex Seal and you have a good canoe.
Good job on the diagnostics Leg Arms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great idea to repowering the old Big Bud 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 and while you are at it you can put some new Goodyear Titan tires on it💪
Your intelligence and application never fails to amaze me. The scope and variety of the issues that you come up against and subsequently conquer is equaled only by your skill, wit, determination and mental agility. Well done Welker bros, well done!
Thank you
Wow those are big fields. I allways wondered how u stayed awake doing that now I know. Good video boys. Peace
Nice job finding the problem on the little Bud Scott. A canoe 🛶? What the world! LOL. Weather has been cold 🥶 here in Michigan too. Poor fruit farmers are getting hit hard with 25 degree temperature. Keep safe Welker crew.
good work! all of you!!!!
Oh the things I’ve found in hay fields... and hay bales. We bale a few spots in the city and I’ve found bikes, shoes, balls, fire extinguisher, table saw, bag of tools, hand saw, clothing, even a whole homeless camp.
Scott if you don’t find who owns the boat you could wield it and take it to the lake this summer Meanwhile be on the lookout for the motor for it Stay safe and well
Looked like Coby was runnin from side to side checkiin on the seeder wings foldin up 🙄😂 good job Legarms diagnosin that engine fault 💪💪👍
I like the way you describe machinery in the description, “a million parts bolted together working the land.”
Good troubleshooting!
Good call on the ecm.
Can always tell when Nick is working, dude always shows it on his face. Keep it up Nick
Great videos guys , very entertaining 👍
We have 3 of those Volvo White GMC trucks as tender trucks. I like em
“I have homework to do!” Leg Arms, You broke the hearts of many who have completed school, but it is the truth. There is always homework to do!
Great will it start Vlog, thanks for sharing
liking your work habits
My first thought of what was in the field was a canoe. I also have a canoe on the edge my field because my son and his buddy went paddling in it last week. It's a little too wet for planting yet.
I've had my ECM on L10 cummins rebuilt by Midwest ECM Repair in Colorado. They do great work. I think it cost right around $1000 which I didn't think was bad. They give you some warranty too, but I don't remember how long.
That’s okay Scott, the combine will find him.
I used to maintain 42 school buses. We used ta have sister buses we could switch to diagnose. Good plan. Plus 42 women drivers
Got a big respect for those drivers. Day in day out. Hats offta them. Precious cargo.
I got into cars when most things were already electornically controlled, coming from carbed bikes and machines.
Now i prefer electronically controlled ones, because i have the right tools to check and modify. I've even added real-time data in the dash so if i feel my car running weird i can usually troubleshoot with the buttons on my steering wheel.
Still, there is something special about working on the old two stroke saab or perkins-powered JCB.
You have to take that back and mount it on the wall or somewhere and display all the crazy stuff you find.
Stay safe and God bless!
That tin. It made me so happy for some reason. Then so sad. Crazy.
Love the video keep up the great work
Great video LegArms and Nick
Awesome video!
Great video again you guys
Great job!
Great video entertaining and informative thanks
Scott...the simple fix was quite involved...excellent problem solving! Where did the canoe come from-wow, the wind.
Welkers good on you for standardizing the majority of your engines, the ability swap, canabilize and scavenge parts is awesome. Just a suggestion, budget for a couple n14 engine blocks complete with ecm modules and save that malfunctioning ecm it can be repaired, it sounds as though you have a bad soder ,transistor or some such problem Goin to fuel pump pins in ecm, there are people who can repair ecm's look in to it.
Wiggles got a huge upgrade getting to drive the little big bud.
Little big lmao
RIP old Trustie.... that's really funny.... good job
That's good you had another N-14 cummins on the farm to swap an ECM with
Thinking outside of box is something no one uses
That is what makes their people ahead
Thanks guys!!
Bummer. Old Trusty could have been put to good use covering up that dent in the exterior wall of the shop! A little blue paint, with a smiley face perhaps?
Good to see you got the BIG BUD running again,electronics....? Weird weather warm to freezing good to get spraying underway.
Looks like you guys need to get that wagner running for that pea roller lol
WOW.. huge amount of acreage to plant
Always interesting at the Welkers.
I love the big buds!💖💖💖💖💖
Scott?
Did you say: "Please!"?😉
Thanks lot for the video! 😊👍🏻
Playing tap's for Old Trusty 🤣🤣.
Get'er done boys.
