Your dad's humor is I suspect a big part of why you all enjoy working together so much.
That new cart is huge. And one thing on on the youtube farms I watch, the dads are still involved with the farming work. I know having you dad to work with is a blessing!
I love this farm. I cant quit watching them. Thanks Dad, Nick, and armleg!
Big red is back and she brought friends!
I think it would be cool if they had a map of the farm that the show at the end of the video, and that map would show what's been seeded or sprayed or harvested or even where each person was working. Idk maybe too much work but I think it would be interesting
I think they plant more flat ground than we have in KY. East of I-75 anyway.
As a former cattle and corn farmer in Ohio where a 1000 acres is a big spread you make 10,000 seem totally manageable! Have been following your videos for several years, kudos to the family touch and the Christian reach. To echo other comments, love the Big Buds and their evolution into 21st century farming, hope my box of wheat chex came from your wheat fields! God Bless!
Glad you all got to seed with the Case and new air cart,
Congratulations,,,,,,you guys are a wonderful family, don't ever take it for granted.........God bless you all
Hi there CASE IH is an awesome company back in 1970 I sold International Harvester equipment here in new Zealand. Got to meet a lot of really dedicated IH people from all over the world. I am sure you are most grateful for the support that you receive from them. Such big machines now compared to my days contracting and selling. 150 how was a big tractor then 🤔
God bless you and your family for a very successful season 🙏
If it's so awesome why has it been owned by several different companies and doesn't stand on it's own or is the owner of other companies
I do love how hilarious Bob welker is...soo nice to have the guy behind it all with a sense of humor, even with all the responsibility that comes with his position
Adorable kiddos! Love the video.
We have a 580 quad, it's a really nice tractor with one exception so far. Having lot of trouble with air conditioning not cooling. Not enough air fan speed, Case-IH worked on it for 2 hours and ended up leaving return filter door off because of so much suction, with that it helped. Then found that when updated computer didn't push button for cab update which took 20 minutes to find and complete we will get back to the field and see if that took care of problem. 🤔
It's crazy with how big your farm is and even your equipment to hear you say that well the big farmers they use this. I'm over here as a tiny fish in the pond as a first generation farmer with 77 acres making hay and raising hair sheep for meat. Keep up the good work guys
When Bud fired up 😍😍☺☺☺ Awesome stuff guys, much love and respect 🤙
You have a nice CASE
Lil Leg Arms was having a blast driving the tractor!! Gotta start em young!!
Missing Coby, but I love all farm "pets" because they have an attitude that makes them happy to do their thing. Coby's excellent example of a useful farm dog/family member, and he knows it. Love it when he's along. Thanks Welkers, you're the best.
You guys are fortunate you are getting rain and snow. We farm in central Saskatchewan and we are getting quite dry.
Something about a quad track that brings a huge grin to my face.
Sweet 620 with the massive tank on it. Get those acres planted.
I just want to say how much you guys bless my family and I. About 15 years ago we lost my grandpa and we also lost their family farm of 2500 acres. I know that's not much but to us it was everything to me it was a stress relief and a way out of our stressful lives up here in Idaho. It is always a blessing to be able to watch your channel and remember what it was like to work with my grandpa in the field. Your content is always family-friendly and that's what we love the most I enjoy being able to put this on our TV with friends and family at home and not worry about what's going to come up next or to worry about your language even in the intro of your video. My family and I are always blessed to watch your videos in the content that you guys put out.n
Thank you Matt. That did tug a my heart ❤. So glad to have you with us. Blessings to all your family
Bob, Do me a favor and DON'T EVER CHANGE! Nick and Leg-arms.. Your both blessed to have a Dad like that and inturn, your Kids are blessed to have Dad's like you.
Sometimes I think mother nature gives you snow days so you can take a break from all the hard work !
Nice video guys, glad you have some new equipment to use to help get the crop planted Thanks Case IH. We won’t tell Colby Bob, take care guys 👍
The fitters and mechs who built those Big Buds could not have imagined the technology you've installed. They must be proud that their product can still kick it with the new breed of super evolved prime movers. Keep em rolling boys.
hello! from the Altai Territory! Siberia! Russia!
I love CASE IH 620 Quadtrac tractor. I have toy models of in 1/16, 1/32 and 1/63.
Love seeing you guys. Some nice demo equipment, it all helps. 👍👍👍👍🤜🤛🇬🇧🇺🇸
bring on the kids i learnt that way with my grand dad playing with valves push rods and pistons when i was crawling in the 60's love en all.
Love that super safe PTO shaft running the auger 😱😱😱😂😂😂😂
That's what I'm saying, I've never seen a PTO shaft that long that didnt have a protective cover of some sort
@@logical_volcel and you think you’d manage to pull away from a PTO shaft because it’s “only 25hp” good luck with that, it’d tie you in a knot before you even noticed.
@@themayorofdipshittery3646 Boehm farm kinda showed something similar, the father got caught in the pto running a conveyor with a 30ish HP tractor. Killed the tractor before he went around(as in him being stuck pulled the engine down). Arm/shoulder was sore but he was fine.
Now 150HP...there would be no knot, there would just be a mess.
Hell yeah! Less farming more sponsorship. Love it.
I always enjoy the Case equipment, but man that cart is huge and I'm sure the other cart model is even bigger. It is good to see that regardless of manufacturer, it supports other equipment.
Best farm presentation and family in the feild. A highlight of my day with each video.
Russell in Tucson, AZ
Shout out to Zach Woods and Nathan D, Patrons. With almost half a million subscribers it awesome to see these new equipment trials. God Bless Welkers!
One of the reasons I like this channel is because of the older equipment. I was hoping this year you did a full season with just the big buds and your other equipment. It shows that you don’t have to be millions in debt to farm.
No you don't need to go into debt to farm but you do need good equipment and either you spend the money to fix old or spend the money on new. Just like any business you have to spend wisely. Debt is often the most expensive way of doing anything.
Mike Mitchell and the faith home farm boys and girls run 40k plus acres up in Saskatchewan. I'm sure you guys would get along great. Another great UA-cam farming channel like the weaker family. Cheers from Ontario Canada eh
Thank you Bob! I WILL enjoy my BRC coffee while watching you and the boys! Remember you're always welcome at my place to share a cup!!! We could even watch your videos together!
I'm glad you gave peas a chance, and now you really have a spring (wheat) in your step and you are really drilling into your planting! Keep plowing forward...
That cart is huge. It looks an awesome bit of kit especially with the quadtrack
Awesome looking cart and tractor Welkers
Millennial Farmer finally gave your tractor back to you... about time...
I understand the CASE IH ties and respect them.
However I enjoyed the RedE update series and was looking forward to one or two videos on the rebuilt planters at work.
I really enjoy the family interactions. Also the mix of newer equipment lightly interspersed with the reality of making what you have do the job.
Lived it Love it and miss working so closely with God’s Amazing Great Plan.
Thank you. As far as the Cart upgrades I guess no news is good news. We aren't fighting holes which causes problems like poor product distribution, plugging, and consistancy. Not much to show when they keep working.
It's great to see the marketing arm of the channel working with good manufacturers. 👍 Green is lagging behind.
So CaseIH makes bottomless hoppers. Very interesting, very interesting.🤔😀 it's amazing the number of kids today's cabs can handle.
I love that the farm channels get to demo new equipment.
Je suis du Québec et je regarde tout vos vidéo je vous dit bravo je vous envie
LOL, I love your dad so much. What a wonderful person. He makes me smile every time I see him in your vids.
Thanks for the videos.
Great clips . Thank you 😊too you and your family for growing my families food .. and my 15 grandkids thank 😊 thank you all .. God bless
That 620 is something else !! Wow !!! I think you should upgrade to at least one .
I really like watching your channel, getting to see all the cool Case equipment you get to try, I’m not a farmer, but it’s fascinating to see how all the equipment works! 👍😁
Always thought I wanted to be a farmer. Not sure I could handle all the fab and repair work. You guys do a awesome job. Stay humble. Thumbs up Bob and Cody
Quadtrack is a beautiful machine
Pretty cool partnership between Welker Farms and Case IH ! 💪👍🏼
Good Morning From New Zealand, great CASE IH QuadTrac Vlog, Have a wonderful Sunday, thanks for sharing
I sense this is a strong CASE of joy about the new equipment... 😁
Superbe ce QUADTRAC 620, quelle belle machine très performante😍 Cette météo de printemps 2021 est complètement folle😮
Always great to see Dad making presentations.
Millennial Farmer is drooling......Red till we're dead........Nice guys......
A different point regarding that cart not having an auger: a lot of farms use tender trailers that have their own built in augers, that seems to be more what that cart would be built for as otherwise that auger is one more piece of equipment that needs to be moved from one field to another which could be a real pain with some of those massive operations that have to cover 100's of miles to get to all their land (see Mike Mitchell). Our farm runs an 1870/C850 seeder but we have a Meridian tender trailer so we never use the auger on it. I actually think it's the opposite of what you said, larger operations that are running multiple units would want augers on them to be able to use just regular semis and not have any other equipment to move around while relatively smaller operations that prefer using a tender can save money by getting a cart without an auger.
Just watched Trinity Dairy they were seeding with an old 830 Case. Watching this Quad Trac shows one both ends of the spectrum. Kind of cool to see that.
Good lord I do love Team Red.. As my daughter always says "Red is Best!". And delivered by a gorgeous Pete, what more could you ask for.
The end of the video was funny as Nick walked out looked around and went back in
Holy cow how cool is all of this you guys rock I love how you work together share time together and do things as a family your getting it done man that tractor and seeder are so cool ,,ok back to work will continue to pray that you have a very safe planting season and a very productive one work hard but work safe
Great video, I just love those Big Buds amazing tractor 👍😀
Got to love big sky country
Great video Welkers
Ah Nick the Fendt 1100 has 673 horsepower + powerboost. Its Mann engine doesn't have an exhaust filter to plug up either. It uses a catalytic converter. The Fendt Vario transmission can't be beat. And I'm a long time John Deere guy too lol.
Yep, Scott the kids look ready to drive the grain carts this harvest.
Interesting old farm homestead out in your wheat fields. Old wooden buildings, full of history
I think it looks awesome and it just showcase how you can upgrade equipment without having to upgrade everything all at once
Great video, great editing, great music for accompaniment, great content. I really enjoy all you do.
Glad you're getting acres done, and the family humor is still wonderful. God bless you all
New IH Case with Steiger power with seed capacity for two days maybe. Yes cold 🥶 enough for snow in Montana. Moisture is all good for the grain. Keep it safe Welker crew. Nice looking family Scott.
Awesome to see the minneapolis moline still working on the farm.
That is some strange weather up there compared to south Texas! God Bless!
Haha the end when nick walks out and shakes his head is awesome
Love Welker Farms. Stay healthy and safe from Alberta Canada 🇨🇦.
case ih has the power they are very good their videos I follow them from chile south america
May I give you guys credit. Looking at the videos it amazes me how dry and clumpy your soil is in Montana. It’s amazing anything grows out there, but I’ve been watching pretty much since you started UA-cam and it seems like you turn a decent crop every year
The truly best site is the big buds period.
Take all the moisture you can get. It's a small hassle, but it beats the alternative.
I built that 760 bushel cart!New TBT option for this model year!
Montana is just like Nebraska, just wait 5 minutes the weather will change!!!!!good luck with spring wheat
Thanks for the absolutely outstanding video. I would be amiss if I did not start with comments about the new seed cart and tractor. Wow-absolutely wonderful pieces of equipment. So pleased for the Welker’s. Are you just doing demo with them or yours to keep?? The seed cart is huge and has great capacity. The tractor is just great great great as far as tractors go. One of the best. Glad for your operation. You all deserve this boost. If I understand correctly from what Nick said, there was suppose to be a new grain drill also but did not get built. Too bad but your is working fine with this setup. (Yours). Weather seems to be a bother right now but you are able to press on-great. The amount of grain and fertilizer the new cart holds is unbelievable-wow. Can see where it is a time saver. Love that new tractor-great. If I might say so the Welker family is a hard working American farm family that works the land to produce products we all use. So when I see you being able to operate with this new equipment, it is so deserving for all of you!!!!!!! Respect all of you more than you know. Sorry my buddy Colby did not get to ride today but am sure he will be ready tomorrow. Guess that is it for now. Enjoy that new equipment. You all take care and be safe. May god watch over you all. Thanks. Iowa farm boy from years ago.
Steve, you're too kind. The red toys are demos. We get them for 100 hrs
@@RobertWelkerFarmerBob thanks for your note. Enjoy the equipment while you have them. Very nice. Wishing good weather for your planting. Iowa farm boy from years ago.
I bet the best thing about getting that cast off was being able to use both arms to pack those wonderful kids around.🎆🌄🌈😊
Another awesome seeding video
I don't even need to watch this to give it a thumbs up as its going to be a great video as usual . Love the videos guys keep up the great work
Congratulations on your upgrades. Very nice. Good video!
You guys are so blessed with all that equtiment
you have got the gear this season Awsome
The Fendt MT 1167 gives 673hp with a boost up to 702hp. Thus it is the most powerful production tractor in the world.
That was so much fun. God Bless
Than acres ! Big machines ! , Case work perfectly .
To bad you couldn’t find another tool bar for the other air cart it be cool if some how you could run all three buds and that case ih in a line that would be like watching four generations you just missing a series four big bud you have all. Great videos again guys. Now you will have to get the old dodge trucks running to keep up.
Boy that is one large cart. Got to love your spring weather (and most of the midwest where I live) One day sunny and warm the next snow. Finally going to get our 3rd 80 deg day. Hope the planting goes well. Take care - God Bless and be safe. 'Spin'
Great video lads! Must be nice having big Buds but the old girls need break from time to time and makes change it's not same John Deere all the others are taking in! Good job
Man, who needs to buy a quadtrac when you just get to demo it every season? Congrats.
Thank you Welker family for a great video
You can still get an actual grey flexi coil if your stubborn enough when your buying one all the grey ones are just sent to Australia
Good to see ya putting in the acres before it snowed dang gad said I’m not quite done snowing yet I guess
Correction 😁
-The CASE IH 620 Quad is currently the most powerful four track tractor available at 682 peak hp.
- The John Deere 9RX 640 is close but limited to 670 hp, the engine if tuned can make 690 hp.
The Fendt 1167 is the highest hp production tractor at an impressive 670 hp with peak boosts well over 700 hp, but as a two track it is in a different class in itself.
Hope that clears up my statement. Technically BIG BUD has the highest hp production tractor being the 747 but I'm sure it'll be beat soon enough.
If u only knew what JD is working on.🤔
The Fendt Challengers do look pretty good I'll say
@Monk Farmer I work For JD.
@Baden Craig when it was made it had 747HP so it was technically tuned up to 1100HP. So if somebody released a 750HP they’d have the highest production tractor.
Won't be long until someone starts to make an 800-1000hp tractor that weighs like 60,000 dry on 40 inch tracks... 600hp has been the limit for a while, time to go higher
