    Just a suggestion. As you were showing different places on this video, I would absolutely love to know which towns those are. But I did really enjoy the video. Lots of good information. Thank you so much.

    I love the Oregon Coast! I love all the little mom & pop shops too. It feels like a Norman Rockwell painting in most areas but I’m sure living there has it’s issues just like everywhere else.

    We are fortunate to live in Oceanside. Best move we ever did. The coast in the world’s best kept secret. The beauty and things to do, with few people is simply unmatched.

    it also has very high property taxes and there's a significant tsunami risk and many have happened over the years which ruin property

    The part where you were talking about people moving in and the costs getting to be more, and therefore the people currently living there are finding it harder and harder to afford some thing? Well, just so you know, I can completely identify with that having been born and raised in California. That’s exactly what happened to our state.

      Lincoln City is similar in size and a quick drive from Newport. Worth a look!

    The secret is out it seems! Around 75% of the moves we do are people moving from out of state.

    Thanks for the great video.
    Off Topic: I just read State of the Air report from the American Lung Association. Can you please comment why Eugene-Springfield, OR came in as the 4th most polluted city in the U.S.? Thx.
    I understand why Medford-Grants Pass, OR came in 8th. "2 Oregon towns have some of the dirtiest air in the U.S., new report finds"

      Off the top of my head I’m not sure. Maybe the paper mill?

      I have been considering the PNW, and near the coast or Sound. I lived at the beach for years and in Tahoe for even more years. I love the mountains and the ocean. I've been living in Reno for 5 years and finding the dryness and heat becoming less doable. I'm very active but also have some serious health conditions. So I am very drawn to the coast.
      Question: is it essential to be a remote worker? I was a licensed therapist in California but switched to working with seniors while living here in Nevada. Are there 55+ communities where I might be able to find work?
      Very interesting video. Thank you!

      @@LivingOnTheOregonCoast My understanding from friends who have lived there is that it's also a bit of an air basin (south end of the Willammette Valley), so any pollutants tend to 'puddle up' there with no easy way out.

    Oregon, once you get away from the population centers, is a beautiful place….as are California, and Washington…it’s the population centers that cause the problems in these states…not just because of the homeless populations, trash, rampant open air use of narcotics, crime….moreover, it’s the liberal politics, and policies of the population centers that are the root of the issues all 3 states face….

    • @patch316
      @patch316 Місяць тому

      I disagree it's the liberal progressive policies and regulations that are helping keep these places greener and cleaner as long as humanly possible. You'll find environmentally friendly and loving people in support of pure air ,water and concerned about long term effects of Human caused pollution.

      @@patch316 that doesn’t mean that the population centers have to be crime ridden, drug infested shitholes

      @OntheHook55 Місяць тому

      @@patch316 L’est we forget their never ending battle against ‘climate change’ 🤣🤣🤣…you can build those cities up all you want…it makes no difference to me if those kind, loving people sit around all day holding hands, listening to the Grateful Dead and singing KumBayah….those cities, because of Liberal/Marxist policies and ideology, are a meager shell of what they once were…you can make all of the standard Liberal claims you want about clean air, clean water etc (if they’re so worried about clean, why are those cities so filthy)..Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles have all gone to SHIT..
