I travel from Eureka CA to the Oregon border several times a year. I just cannot tell you what a beautiful drive it is, and I have travelled all over the world and seen some amazing views... Goonies the movie was filmed partly on the Oregon coast at Astoria.
Thank you for the video, but I have a question: In the Nesika Beach section, where are the lines of beautiful homes @ 25:53 and 26:24)? I'm looking at satellite view on Google maps and can't seem to find them.
You skipped over Port Orford. So much history there. The Cape Blanco Lighthouse. Coast Gaurd Hill with the barracks still standing . The 1,000 steps the men had to carry 50 gallons of fuel in each hand down to get to the rescue boats moored in Nellie's Cove. One of the few docks that lowers & lifts the fishing boats from the fleet on the dock. Two famous rivers for fishing. The Elk River, I do believe is the second most pristine river in the USA. Dairy farms, sheep farms, beef farms. I could go on, but what would be the point ? You are not the only ones who don't even mention this gem of a town. It's probably for the best, though.
Thank you for making an entire video about these areas that never get mentioned or get a brief passing mention, ive been waiting for this video!

I think a lot of the footage that was used was a little further south on Old Coast Rd, closer to Gold Beach but still North of the Bridge.
@@LivingOnTheOregonCoast Thank you!

@@shannonwagner1849 perhaps we’ll do something for Port Orford in the future. PO didn’t meet the criteria for this particular list.
You should have name of those towns written in the corner while you talk
I wish you could add the average home price in these areas. It’s a great video otherwise!! Thanks!
Half a million for less than 1200 sq feet in Newport is now about the average.
Please put the name of the town so that we can fast-forward, we can’t see anything that’s happening and therefore you won’t get as many views😮
Like as chapters so you can scroll to specific times?
@ yes! We’re just put the word on the screen when you’re talking about a new town? Thank you so much.
