You are the most diverse fishman on UA-cam.
Thanks my friend.
Catfish on the gulp minnow! What!? That's a new one for me! Anything will eat a 1" minnow. On that light rod that looked like a total blast.
It was my friend. Thanks again.
Old fisherman having a blast adapting to those white perch. You can never count out minnows for bait. I always use them along with jigs for crappie but minnows will always be #1.
adapting is the name of the game when it comes to fishing, thanks for watching.
Another great video! Thanks Steve!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Thx Steve!!!! Great video!!
SUPER DOG PERCH!!
Thanks for watching!
Mr Steve it's been rough on me since my Pops passed in Aug but I really enjoy all of your videos, and thanks so much!!!💯💪
I understand.
You are a fish catching machine Sir. I know I say the same thing a lot but I really enjoy all your videos. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching my friend.
Great job thank for letting me go with you
Thanks for going my friend.
You have gave us another great video to watch, when the bite slowed you gave them something different and kept catching them, dress warm and keep the videos coming.
Thanks for watching my friend.
Rattle trap silver or gold is hard beat in winter for bass which I know you already know but I love catching them with rattle trap
Good bait but a lot of casting.
@@theoldfisherman2040 yes lot casting
Loony's back! Always a good sign!
You got that right my friend, thanks for watching.
Ya We Fishing
Thanks for going my friend.
lol i understand wanting to fish and have to do other stuff.. lol and yes you put alot of folks to shame fishing so awesome like you do.
Thanks for watching.
Good video. We was down there the same day you were. It took us a while to figure them out to. I pulled out one of my daddys 40 year old Waddell Spoons and the perch and the bass like it....Around 30 perch and 6 nice bass. Good luck next time out on the water..Oh and we caught a few cats to big ones to....
The bass and catfish will hit the spoon good right now but the colder the water gets the softer you have to work it. Thanks for watching.
Finally see your subscribers go from 24.9k to 25k! Can't believe it took so long! Hope you hit 100K by new years! That 'd be a Big Un!!!!
Don't think I will ever see 100K
@@theoldfisherman2040 Well You deserve 100k, so lets say 50K by Forth of July! Really love your videos, and am learnin' from you!
One thing I noticed while fishing deep perch is that they empty their stomachs on the way up. After a while you create a slick and a feeding frenzy
That's because of air pressure.
Hey mr Steve love to watch you catch them perch i catch them but cant get them like you do. I was wondering if you could soak the regular jig tails in liquid scent and get the same results as the gulp alive minnows. Maybe they would hold up longer on the gig head. Keep making these videos!
Have tried that don’t seem to work
Water temps in PA are in the 40s.
A little colder than here.
Maybe a light color small worm.
Just putting some thing out there.
I have already tried that without success.
Steve I am not familiar with a white perch. I was born and raised in Florida. Can you educate us on what a white perch is and do they taste good.
They are a fast producer and will take over a lake but they are not considered a game fish there is no limit on them. They are a good fish to eat.
@@theoldfisherman2040 Thanks for responding to my question
Question…Now that you’ve had this boat for what, three or four years, do you like the new remote steered trolling motor or would you rather have kept the hand steered style motor? I got the feeling that when you first got it, you were sorry that you changed, but I thought you just hadn’t gotten used to it yet.
The hand control, trolling motor I like the best on my John boat, but would not work on my tracker, too much distance between the seat and the nose of the boat
Color does not matter fishing that deep.
I hate to tell you that you are wrong.
wanting to fish love to watch
Thanks for watching but it will make you want to go.
